City Nails has received a mixed bag of comments from their customers, highlighting both strengths and weaknesses. In order to provide a comprehensive analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of City Nails, we will examine each comment and evaluate its significance.
Strengths:
1. Sandy and Tommy are accommodating and professional: A customer praised the salon for its excellent customer service. This indicates that the staff members are attentive and provide a positive experience to their clients.
2. Sandy caters to customers in wheelchairs: One customer specifically mentioned that Sandy went out of her way to accommodate them, indicating that the salon is inclusive and considerate of diverse needs.
3. Tommy's work receives compliments: Another customer expressed satisfaction with Tommy's work, suggesting that the salon has skilled technicians who can produce high-quality results.
4. Positive first-time experience for acrylic nails: A customer had a positive experience introducing her daughter to acrylic nails, indicating that the salon is welcoming to customers of all ages and is capable of providing a pleasant experience.
Weaknesses:
1. Poor quality and short durability of French manicure: A customer had a negative experience with the Nexgen French manicure, as it peeled within 48 hours. This indicates that the salon may have issues with the quality and longevity of their services.
2. Rude and disrespectful treatment by the mom: A customer reported encountering a rude nail technician who was disrespectful and exhibited a bad attitude. This highlights a severe weakness in customer service and professionalism.
3. Overpriced services: A customer felt that the salon's prices were high, considering the mediocre results. This suggests that the salon may not provide good value for money.
4. Inefficient callous removal during pedicure: A customer complained that despite upgrading their pedicure and paying more for the service, their callous was not adequately addressed. This indicates a weakness in the quality and thoroughness of the salon's pedicure service.
5. Quality issues with nail polish application: A customer reported that the polish they received started peeling and warping shortly after leaving the salon. This suggests that the salon may have issues with the quality of their nail polish application, potentially impacting the durability of their manicures.
Based on these comments, City Nails has several strengths, including accommodating and professional staff, a positive first-time experience for acrylic nails, and skilled technicians receiving compliments. However, the salon also has significant weaknesses, such as poor quality and durability of services, rude and disrespectful treatment by a staff member, high prices for mediocre results, inefficiency in addressing customer concerns, and issues with nail polish application.
To improve their business, City Nails should focus on addressing the weaknesses mentioned in the comments. This includes implementing better quality control measures to ensure the durability of their services, conducting customer service training to improve professionalism and eliminate rude behavior, reevaluating their pricing to provide better value for money, and enhancing their techniques for callous removal and nail polish application. Additionally, the salon should continue to leverage their strengths, such as accommodating customers with special needs and providing a positive experience for first-time customers. Only through addressing these weaknesses and further capitalizing on their strengths can City Nails enhance their reputation and attract more satisfied customers.

Sandy and Tommy are the perfect combination of accommodating and professional. Plus, Sandy goes out of her way to do my pedicures as I'm in a wheelchair.
Tommy does a very good job! Very happy & getting a lot of compliments ☺
Would not recommend. I got Nexgen French manicure done on 6/18 the very next day the white tips were peeling. The French was placed too wide and low for my liking. Overpriced for how my nails looked and didn’t even last 48 hours. Very disappointed.
It was great!! Me and my daughter went there b because we wanted to test out acrylic nails for the first time. These wonderful people made it possible for me and my daughter to have the best experience we could ever imagine. I'm pretty sure it was only like $25 per person. I'm glad they I'm glad they accepted my daughter since she is only 9 years old. Totally recommend!!!????????Here is a picture of my nails.
I am a woman who is very particular about her nails this was my first time coming to City Nails I just had a fill but I broke a nail and I needed it repaired they were close to where I was in the area so I decided to give him a chance. The mom is the one who "attempted" to fix my nail and let's just say she was the rudest nail technician I ever encountered and I've been getting my nails done since I was 12. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE!! these people were rude and very disrespectful and then she prompted to say "you don't like it let me take it off" I said "are you serious??? you are not touching my nail." I told her for a first time customer she was very disrespectful. She has an attitude that is not great for any business. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY! THIS WAS THE WORST NAIL SHOP IV'E EVER BEEN TO!!!! 0 STARS FROM ME! They get the worst nail shop in St. Lucie county hands down. I would never step a foot in that place EVER AGAIN.
Was kinda taken back by the prices but was in desperate need of a pedicure and they were the only salon on Saturday able to take my daughter and me. I did tell the pedicurist that my sandals I wore when I was pregnant gave me callous so I upgraded my pedicure and upgraded to gel polish. So a pedicure I am use to paying $30 (and even in NYC) was $50 here and my callous is still on my foot. I didn’t like the fact that she did not use a blade to remove the callous especially having to pay more for them to do.
The nails were alright until I noticed that the polish was warping and lifting right after I left the building. Its been a few days now and the polish is peeling off. Other than that, I'm not too mad since it was a cheap nail job. Just don't expect perfection or longevity. Good for a begginer who wants their first set just to see if they like having nails or not.
Horrible!!!! Absolutely horrible. I asked the guy doing my nail if he could change the shape because it wasn’t to my liking. He then told me I can go somewhere else if I don’t like them. Rather then offering a solution. I have never been treating so rudely. If I could rate zero stars I definitely would...
In response to the owner again you have horrible service. There would have not been a issue if you weren’t rude. I’m paying you. Not the other way around. You offer a solution not tell someone to get out for your shop you didn’t even explain that. . So again horrible on your behalf to imply I would cause trouble.
