Quick Facts About Colorful Nails
Colorful Nails place, as evidenced by the comments above, has both strengths and weaknesses that can be assessed to determine the overall experience and quality of the salon.
Starting with the strengths, some customers have praised the friendly and energetic service they received from the staff. One customer specifically mentioned the nail technician named Lem, who was kind and helpful in choosing the right nail color. Another customer appreciated the time and attention given by Charlie in creating the perfect nail shape. These positive experiences highlight the potential for good customer service at Colorful Nails.
Additionally, some customers were satisfied with the pricing of the services provided. One customer mentioned paying $45 for a full set coffin-shaped nails with gel, which they believed was a fair price. This suggests that Colorful Nails might offer competitive pricing compared to other nail salons in the area.
However, the weaknesses of Colorful Nails are quite evident in the comments as well. One recurring complaint is the poor quality of the services provided. Several customers expressed disappointment in their manicure and pedicure, stating that nails were not properly filed, cuticles were not cleaned, and the nail polish application was sloppy. In some cases, nails even came off after a week. This indicates a lack of attention to detail and skill in performing the services.
Hygiene is another area of concern mentioned by customers. One individual was frustrated with the placement of the pedicure basin in the rear of the store, near a utility room and trash, which gave the salon an unkempt and unclean appearance. Another customer mentioned experiencing bleeding during the nail service, raising concerns about the sanitation and safety practices of Colorful Nails.
Moreover, some customers expressed dissatisfaction with the overall atmosphere and facilities of the salon. One customer described the main room as somewhat grungy and lacking lush amenities. Another customer criticized being charged an additional $5 to sit in a massage chair. These comments indicate that the salon may not provide a comfortable and luxurious environment for customers.
One comment also highlighted a potential issue with communication between the salon staff and non-English speaking customers. The individual felt that the salon was taking advantage of customers who couldn't communicate well in English and expressed disappointment with the quality of the work performed.
In conclusion, Colorful Nails place has strengths such as friendly service and competitive pricing, but it also has significant weaknesses regarding the quality of the services provided, hygiene practices, and the overall atmosphere of the salon. These weaknesses, as highlighted in the customer comments, indicate that the salon may need improvement in various areas to meet customer expectations and provide a satisfactory nail salon experience.
Best TL Reviews
I would have given more stars for this just for the nice color of polish, but wow, such a negative experience!
First of all, please read my other reviews. I am a real human who enjoys life and honors excellence, not a Yelp strong arm.
We usually go to Helen Nails, half a block from Colorful nails. They were closed, so we checked our Colorful.
At first everyone seemed kind and accommodating. I explained what we wanted, and they led us back to the very rear of their store by their utility room and filthy trash. Pedi soak in a tiny basin. I asked why. They said because I requested basic pedicure and gel nails. No spa for us. No massage chairs, whirlpool soak? Really.
Their main room with all the amenities is not overly lush. Somewhat grungy, cute massage chairs and pedi soak basins, not a lot of customers.
Well I will be joining the cadres of this absent following this experience.
The owner very self-righteously explained the poor treatment was because “no spa for basic “ Later, he changed his tune to, “Next time ask for spa.” I’m not kidding. Then no temporary flip flops were offered, not even for an extra dollar. So they insisted on putting on the sandals, messed up the pedicure, and did not offer to repair it.
Then, I kid you not, we were flanked by men, as though I were going to misbehave in my distress. Ha! The pen is mightier than the sword. I paid in cash and left. No tips. Except this one. If you love this place, I’m glad you’ve found your nail home. If you are curious, ask for “basic”, no-frills and “spa” and let’s hear your experience.
Ok. Photos, and then I can post.
I apologize for the negativity. This is a terrible, greedy, money-grubbing business model and people should know before they go.
First and last time coming here to do my nails
The lady that did my nails charge 70 dollar for the color I didn't like
Not only that she cut me pretty bad and I was bleeding
I almost got an infection
The nail isn't that good either
It came off after a week
I didn't even do anything to it
I wish I can get my money back ???? ???? ????
Probably the worst manicure I’ve ever had. The nail lady rushed her job & didn’t file my nails properly or clean my cuticles. My nails look so dry & crusty & terrible & feel so rough. Ugh. Oh my god, I paid $29 + tips for this. 100% do not recommend this place for new customers. Will not come back to this nail salon.
I came here today and absolutely love how Charlie took his time in creating the perfect shape for me he was in absolutely no rush and for that I love and appreciate a lot. Thank you so much for Jessica for creating my amazing sunflowers that I love.
Walked in and was asked right away what i wanted, wait was about 5 minutes. Lem, i think her name was? she was very kind and energetic, helped me pick the nail color. good service and did more than a normal nail salon. $45 for full set coffin shaped w gel .
First and last time going there. I was really looking forward to get a mani/pedi after months of neglecting my nails. Unfortunately, this place did not meet my expectations. The guy who did my pedicure did a great job. He was super nice and friendly. The lady who did my manicure was also nice, but did a poor job. Didn’t even bother shaping my nails and keep in mind I did pay for a manicure! Nail polish applied looks very sloppy and she left a lot of lint under nail polish which makes it look bumpy and ugly. I did tell her and she tried to file it off to fix it, but that’s not how it should be fixed obviously. I also told the lady at the front desk while she was charging me and she didn’t say anything about it, but did ask if I wanted to leave a tip! Like is she serious?? Of course I’m not going to tip because I’m unhappy with the work! Take your money elsewhere.
Very poor pedicure. Nail tech sped through the job and barely let a layer dry before adding a top coat. I can still see my toenails ????
Mind you it was not busy at all. Extra $5 charged to sit in a massage chair. Go elsewhere.
