The owner's response to a negative experience by immediately getting the client in with another barber shows that he takes customer satisfaction seriously.
Another strength highlighted in the comments is the quality of the cuts. Multiple customers mention that they have never been disappointed and that the barbers are careful to make sure the cut turns out the way the customer wants. This suggests that the barbers at D'Cache Barber Shop are skilled and have years of experience. The fact that customers are willing to travel regularly to get a cut from this place speaks to the quality of their work.

Best TL Reviews

The owner is really nice and cares about everyone that comes in - he gives great cuts.
The taller, skinny guy all the way in the back who told me He will be just a minute and get me in the chair had me wait 40 minutes as he talked to a family.
When the owner realized I was being screwed over he immediately got me in with the next person available and it was a good, fast cut. Not with that guy in the back.
First class all the way. Great experience. Recommend highly. Music is good too.
This is the best haircut I ever got. Real careful to make sure the cut turns out the way you want it. I highly recommend and have never been disappointed.
Walked in and waited for a haircut. They were 2 other guys sitting & waiting in front of me. Then, another dude walks in and sits for a min.
As soon as a barber is free, he jumps up talking about how much of a rush he's in, begging to go next. They mention that there are others waiting before him. He persists, and so they let him jump in front of everyone.
Obviously, my business and time is not as important as that guy. I just walked out. I'll go somewhere else where they respect all customers - not just the ones who make the most noise.
I started coming here when I was at college near the shop, best place for a cut hands down. I’m now back at home in Jersey , I travel regularly to get a hair cut from no other place than this one. Gio is my guy , everyone in general makes sure you get what you want and need. The quality of customer service is amazing , I will continue to make the trip.
I went here regularly when I was a teenager as did everyone else back in the day. My barber was on vacation so I thought I stop by. They are still the same quality barbers that you can’t find elsewhere. Every barber here has at least 7 years experience cutting hair if not longer. Other competitors in the area charge $30 for haircuts and have 1 or 2 good barbers and the rest are young guys who have been cutting for less than a year. And you know what? Those young barbers used to get their hair cut at DCache. I think I might switch permanently.
For years I'd been going to a tiny, one man barber shop, waiting for as much as an hour to get into the chair, while the owner and the TV bombarded me with annoying political commentary. I kept going because I could walk there and it was cheap.
Finally decided it's time to try a different spot.
Today was my fourth visit to D'Cache:
The wait has never been more than 5-10 mins.
The shop is very classy looking and it is immaculate.
The price? Exactly the same as my former spot!
Neither the barber nor I brought up politics and I think the TV was tuned to a show featuring Arctic Exploration.
I park around the corner for free.
I am a customer for life.
Went here for the first time today after having to change barbers for the first time in 10 years out of convenience. Obviously I was hesitant at first but soon as I stepped in I was greeted with a warm hello and after a minute the same person asked if I was here for a specific barber. After saying no he directed me to one of the barbers. I showed the barber exactly what I wanted and after he was done it was down to the tee! A great first impression and would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a new place. I'm looking forward to coming back for my next haircut.
PS! PARKING, either bring quarters or park around the corner if you don't mind walking 2 minutes for free 2 hour parking!
TL;DR - I was a new client, friendly staff, great barbers, and free parking around the corner!
