Had an early afternoon tea here along with son, daughter in law and baby Ivy.
What a delightful place. Beautiful situation among crafts hub, by a gentle stream with ducklings and next to a peaceful country lane. Although Ivy is too young to appreciate ducklings at the moment I look forward hopefully to future visits when she will. The tea was absolutely delicious. amazing range of scones and cake and I believe sandwiches are also available. it was such a treat for me having endured a long journey from Northumberland.
Thoroughly recommend.
Lovely scone and fruit tea. All cakes looked amazing. Crafts were lovely too and varied. Lots to do
It’s a tranquil little haven
For a tasty pot of tea
Where the ambiance is perfect
And the smiles ... they come for free
Just to add
So of the places you can linger
This is perhaps the best
For tea and treats and atmosphere
As it puts shame to all the rest
But what makes it so idyllic
And such a perfect space
Is its timeless utopian tenor
Where a smile is never out of place
So to cross the ‘teas’
And DOT the ‘eyes’
Just to be precise
It’s clearly natures halcyon little paradise
Had early afternoon tea here last Sunday with son, daughter in law and baby Ivy. A lovely setting and most delicious tea of scones and cake. Can't wait to return.
Lovely afternoon out today at the Craft Centre 50th anniversary. We stopped for a cream tea at Dot's Teas. I was amazed to find that they had gluten free scones... super surprise and really really tasty... honestly you would never know they were gf other than the different shape. Great to see no single use plastic containers... homemade jam and clotted cream taken from larger containers into little dishes. Really good value for money????Will definitely visit again ????
I have been here several times and it is a great place to drop in for a cuppa and the homemade cakes are exceptionally delicious
Went here instead of services on M5 that makes millions while making way from Devon to support local business that probably only makes hundred, Very nice Cream tea and coffee. Pleasant little stop. Will defo call in again instead of the services.
I had a pleasant pot of tea with fruit cake. There were also cream teas available. Small but a pleasant stop off from long drive on M5.
