The food was good. I'd go back for that, but 8.00 for a torta and 12.98 they changed my friend for a burrito. I think they have a problem with American money and pesos. Then 85 cent to use visa card. Yikes!
Their tacos al pastor are my favorite! Best taco spot in town! Hands down! Great service and super fast.
Only taking one star off because I’m almost 99% sure their guacamole is not real ???? still good and still my favorite taco spot in Yuma/Somerton
The tacos were great chilie was very hot alittle pricey but what isn't nowadays
They have good tacos. They use smaller size tortillas, but they charge less than other places also. The burritos and quesdillas are huge though (they have a smaller size quesadillas also). They have a good variety of meats for your tacos. Most places only have 2 or 3 types of meat. They've been around for awhile and are very friendly people. Give them a try if you get a chance
I really enjoy the food here, but it makes me sad to realize the inconsistencies in prices. I can literally go and buy x amount of tacos today, then return tomorrow and order the exact same thing and I'll be charged a different amount. Today I ordered 2 burritos and 4 tacos for my wife and I, and I ended up paying $28. I know they've sold the tacos for $2 each, so that means they sold me two burritos for $20! That's insane for how small they are compared to other places. I can literally purchase a burrito, nearly twice the size, for $8 elsewhere. I wish they would just stay consistent. It's like they charge whatever they want based on their mood that day. That's it. End of gripe.
I have eaten there about five times. They need to post a menu on the wall ot have paper menus. Each time the bill has been different for exactly the same thing. Last week I ate there with a friend. We had two burritos and threr bottled soft drinks. Bill was 26 dollars. Altho the food was good
Pastor and carne asada
It was a total rip off. We won't be back
If you live in SOMA but haven't been to El Cachanilla entonces you haven't experienced Somerton fully. This is a must try. Ahora, having said that. Sí estás buscando the perfect taqueria that has everything you are looking for then no. This place ain't it. Hay cosas que si realmente les falta. Yeah their customer service isn't always top notch, yeah they could use some aguas frescas, pepinos AND rábanos cortados and some cebollitas en cada orden and this would completely take it to another level! Also their guacamole game is weak. Todo eso es la neta.
Pero, I would be lying if I said I didn't love this place.
Maybe it's the fact that they are basically always open. Alomejor it's because you can just eat afuera con el taquero when you wanna have a quick bite y agarras botana con la raza allí. Maybe it's because you can call in your order y lo recoges and eliminate wait time. Maybe es porque el taqero me llama PRIMO and makes me feel like an extension of his family. All these reasons are why I keep coming back.
Their carnitas are top notch, las tripas están bien machin, la carne asada está bien picada y rica, their menudo is also really good. Cómo les dijo, for the most part this place is legit and definitely worth a shot.
Fantastic $1.50 tacos, spicy pastor, sweet breads and tripas. Passionate owner, offered me samples right off the plancha. Nice seating and Mexican Coke available
