Quick Facts About El Patio Restaurant
El Patio Restaurant has received a mix of positive and negative comments, revealing both strengths and weaknesses. In order to provide a comprehensive analysis, we will outline these strengths and weaknesses below.
Starting with the strengths, one of the most prominent ones is the great food. Several commenters mentioned that the food at El Patio Restaurant is delicious and the pork tamales and combination fajitas were specifically praised. This indicates that the restaurant is able to deliver flavorsome and satisfying dishes to its customers. Additionally, the presence of traditional Mexican dishes like menudo and pozole, available for dine-in or takeout, adds to the restaurant's appeal.
Another strength mentioned by customers is the reasonable prices. This suggests that El Patio Restaurant offers affordable dining options, thus making it an attractive choice for those on a budget. Providing good value for money can help attract a larger customer base and encourage repeat visits.
The positive comments also highlighted the service at El Patio Restaurant. Some customers mentioned that the service was great and they had a pleasant experience overall. Efficient and attentive service can greatly enhance the dining experience and leave customers feeling satisfied and valued.
Moving on to the weaknesses, one of the most significant ones is the issue of cleanliness. Multiple commenters mentioned that the restaurant was dirty, with one customer even taking a photo of the greasy and caked-on salt and pepper shakers. This raises concerns about the cleanliness standards and overall hygiene of the establishment. Such negative comments could deter potential customers who prioritize cleanliness and food safety.
Another weakness identified is the inconsistency in service. One customer mentioned that their family had to wait 45 minutes to receive one plate of food. Inconsistent and slow service can lead to frustration and dissatisfaction among customers. Additionally, the comment about the hostess having a lollipop in her mouth suggests a lack of professionalism and attention to detail.
Furthermore, there were complaints about specific menu items. One customer stated that the chorizo omelette was bland and lacked flavor, while another mentioned that the nachos were not good, with soggy shredded chicken and subpar cheese. Consistency in food quality and taste is crucial for a restaurant's success, as customers expect each dish to meet their expectations.
Lastly, some commenters expressed disappointment with the restaurant's response to their concerns. One customer shared their experience of being served unclean shrimp and being blamed for not requesting clean shrimp when ordering. This lack of accountability and willingness to address customer complaints can lead to a loss of trust and loyalty.
In conclusion, El Patio Restaurant has both strengths and weaknesses. The strengths include great food, reasonable prices, and positive service experiences. However, weaknesses include cleanliness issues, inconsistent service, and complaints about specific food items. Addressing these weaknesses and further capitalizing on the strengths can help improve the overall dining experience and customer satisfaction at El Patio Restaurant.

Horrible food oh, there was no flavor at all! We both had the chorizo omelette and I've never had an omelette that was so Bland. , service was okay. The place was filthy dirty! We did not even finish our meal after seeing noticing how dirty everything was. See for yourself this was the salt and pepper shakers, the outside was so greasy and the lids were caked on rest and food. Actually I don't see how a health department would allow this place to stay open!
Great food and service. Reasonable prices!
If you are looking for menudo or pozole during the weekend this is the place to go. Either dine in or take your own pot and take it home. Their 3 leches cake is delicious! You can also order a whole 3 leches cake for any occasion (must order with a week or so in advance.)
Waitress took my family order then returned 45 minutes later with one plate
Had a great experience the pork tamales were really good. The service was great also
My family and I have been coming to El Patio Restaurant for years now Normally we'll drive from Chico to Hamilton City for the combination fajitas the past four times they haven't even put in the effort or the common courtesy to clean the shrimp, When I brought this to their attention and told them that I don't really like eating Mudvaynes they said it was our fault I didn't order them cleaned they said bring them back in we'll replace them we drove back to Hamilton just to have them pick out the shrimp and remake just the shrimp I will never go back again!
Uhg! Used to be a special treat to drive the 30 minutes for dinner. This place has slowly been declining. Sunday evenings used to be busy. We were the only ones there!
Hostess that seated us actually had a lollipop in her mouth. No one checked on us for more drinks etc. Food was just ok. Probably hit the taco wagon in town next time. Service isn't the best but food is really good. So sorry to see it go so downhill. Tonight was my last time coming to El Patio .
Nachos were not good. The cheese isn't even nacho cheese, and the shredded chicken was bland and soggy. The service was not great. Asked for a drink and didn't get it and they still tried to charge us for it. The carnea sada was burrito was OK. But I have had much better elsewhere.
