Quick Facts About Elegance Nails IV
Elegance Nails IV has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
One strength mentioned is Chloe, a nail technician who is praised for doing a beautiful job on a customer's nails. This indicates that there are skilled technicians at the salon who can provide high-quality services. Another strength is the ambience of the salon, which is described as beautiful and comfortable. This suggests that the salon provides a pleasant and relaxing environment for customers.
However, there are also several weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One major weakness is the inconsistency in pricing. Multiple customers complain that they never know what price they will be charged and that the prices can be high. This inconsistency can lead to customer dissatisfaction and a lack of trust in the salon. Additionally, some customers mention long wait times, with one person waiting 20-30 minutes despite arriving on time for their appointment. Long wait times can be frustrating for customers and can make the overall experience less enjoyable.
Another weakness highlighted in the comments is the rushed nature of some services. Multiple customers mention feeling like their services were rushed, with one person specifically mentioning an extremely rushed pedicure. This suggests that the salon may prioritize speed over quality, which can negatively impact the customer experience. Additionally, there are complaints about the lack of communication and poor customer service. One customer mentions feeling rushed off the phone when discussing an issue with the manager, and another mentions that the staff often speak in another language, making it difficult for customers to understand and feel included.
The comments also mention issues with the overall quality of the services provided. Multiple customers mention uneven or poorly shaped nails, uneven polish application, and cuticles being cut too short. These issues indicate a lack of attention to detail and skill, which can be concerning for customers seeking high-quality nail services.
One customer mentions a rewards/points system that they found innovative, but this is not discussed in further detail, so it is unclear how effective or beneficial this system is.
In summary, the strengths of Elegance Nails IV include the presence of skilled technicians and a beautiful salon ambience. However, the weaknesses include inconsistent pricing, long wait times, rushed services, poor communication, and lower quality services. These weaknesses can lead to customer dissatisfaction and may indicate areas where the salon can improve to provide a better overall experience for their clients.

I want to give a 3 based on their customer service but giving a 4 because of Chloe.
My last experince at Elegance was so bad that I was looking for a new place to get my nails done immediately after walking out. For my last appointment my nail tech didn't ask if I wanted my nails shaped, applied the polish unevenly so my nails looked bulbous at the tip, my nails felt bumpy and uneven on top, and the gel was painted onto my cuticles so as it grew out, the sharp edges caught everything.
I work at a spa, if someone has an issue there is a specific way we handle things to ensure that the client feels comfortable and more valued for their next service. I barely spoke to the manager about this issue as it felt like I was being rushed off the phone. I still made my next appointment but with Mr. Din as 3 people encouraged me to go to him because my wedding is coming up. When I arrive to my appointment, I check in and put who it should be with and they still sit me with someone else! If I just had an issue and requested someone specific, why am I not waiting for who I requested?? If I'm not going to see the person I asked the manager to put me with on the phone and checked in for, as a paying client why am I not told that right away?? Because if he was overbooked, they should have told me that so I could have chosen a different time or day. Next time I request someone and get moved to someone else I will leave because that's not right. Long story short, I still wanted to wait for Mr. Din as requested but at that point he already had a new client in his chair... super aggravating! Luckily Chloe took her time and did a beautiful job on my nails but in the future, when I request someone, I expect to be with that person. I will continue to see Chloe but after my wedding I may still look for a different place.

I loved this place initially but the other reviews are true, you never know what price you are going to get. When I show up on time for my appointments I’m still waiting 20-30 min to be seen.usually I am very satisfied with the work but my last 3 visits haven’t been the best. During my most recent visit, all of the nails on my right hand were crooked and my left hand was perfect. My pedicure was EXTREMELY rushed. Don’t know what’s going on but I hope it improves or I’ll have to find a new salon to go to. I’ll leave a photo of my good hand since it looks the best.
I’ve given this place so many chances but last night just doesn’t sit well. I’ve been coming here for over 2 years, most recently every 2 weeks faithfully. I get a gel manicure which I love because it last so long. What I don’t love is having to wait despite having a set appointment and then being bounced back and forth between 2 nail techs. Furthermore, my manicure it always being rushed and they almost ALWAYS cut my cuticles too short and make me bleed. I’m always nervous when they take that tool out. So last night when going to pay for my gel manicure which is usually $40, they charged me $50! Cause she said I keep my nails long. All this time I been asking for UV gels cause my intention was to grow them and she just kept saying lets just keep doing as is never once mentioning price goes up if you keep your nails long?!!! Here are my nails now. They aren’t THAT long!! Not for an additional $10!!! Plus tip so that’s $55 for a gel manicure not to mention the added 3.5% for using my card. All in all I paid $57 for a damn GEL manicure!!
This is the only nail salon I go to for a gel manicure. They do a really nice job. The only downside is if you want a design you never really know the price until they are finished and sometimes the prices are rather high. If you want a gel manicure on your natural nails then definitely try them out. You won’t be disappointed.
I’m not the one to take the time to write reviews but this salon SUCKS. First off, the prices are always changing. The techs treat the staff HORRIBLE and degrading. How is an acrylic fill $80? I cant imagine how much a full set is. Had an appointment at 6:30 but yet I’m still waiting almost 20 minutes for the girl to start my nails. Save your money and go where the prices and service are consistent.
I only went to get regular manicure and regular pedicure. And i feel like it was done so fast; my manicure was good. However, my pedicure was not. My nailrd werent cleaned as much as it should have. I get my nails done somewhere else and they do it better. I only came here because my cousin brought me here. But she even said we wont come here anymore because the lady who did her full set kept giving her an attitude. And we eneded up paying a total of over $200 , ridiculous. For the service we got in total we pay $98 elsewhere. Not coming here ever again
Never coming back here. I agree with the reviews, the prices are ridiculous and they make it up as they go. I paid 90$ for a full set, no design. When I asked why it was 90$, I was told it’s because gel is 70$ and chrome powder is 20$. 20$??? thats robbery. Right before payment, they always talk in another language too so no one knows what they’re discussing. So unprofessional. the nail shape was sloppy as well. so unsatisfied. i’m taking my business to Evey’s Nails down the street!
Kim did my nails and I will never go to another nail salon again in NJ. She’s speedy, detail-oriented, prepared, and always checking-in during the service to make sure your nails are just as you’d hoped for. The ambience of this salon is beautiful. I felt comfortable the entire time. They use light concept nails, not the same as regular acrylic which I can appreciate. Their pedicure services are elite, with flavored scrubs you can add to your water. My toes felt smooth, the colors have lasted me two weeks so far and still going strong. Chloe did my pedicure and was also speedy (but not in a rushing way of course, just quick) it certainly shouldn’t be an all-day process to get your nails done, and these two ladies made my experience quick and enjoyable. Thanks Elegance for reminding me what it’s like to be pampered and spoiled. I’ll be back soon!
Last thoughts: they also have a rewards/points system that I had never seen before! Very innovative.
