Quick Facts About Elysian Nail Spa

Elysian Nail Spa has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers. In order to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the spa, let's break down the feedback:
Strengths:
1. Quality service for special occasions: One customer had a great experience with a nail technician who did an amazing job for her wedding. The recommendation from the technician regarding dip powder instead of gel also proved to be successful. This positive recommendation highlights the spa's ability to provide quality service for special occasions.
2. Multiple technicians providing excellent service: Another customer had a positive experience with three different technicians who worked on their nails and did a wonderful job. This suggests that the spa has a team of skilled technicians who can consistently deliver high-quality services.
3. Long-lasting manicures: Despite some negative experiences, one customer noted that their nails never chipped or broke after visiting the spa multiple times. This indicates that the technicians have a good understanding of their craft and can provide services that result in long-lasting manicures.
Weaknesses:
1. Lack of attention to non-acrylic clients: One customer shared that they felt unappreciated as a non-acrylic client. They stated that the salon seemed to prioritize acrylic clients and did not show the same level of appreciation for customers who chose dip powder or other services. This indicates a potential weakness in customer service and prioritization.
2. Inconsistent service quality: Another customer visited the salon multiple times and had varied experiences. Their first visit was okay but not special, their second visit resulted in a sloppy dip job, the third visit was the best experience, and the later visits had painful issues. This inconsistency in service quality suggests a lack of standardization and training among the salon's technicians.
3. Poor customer service and rushed service: Multiple customers had negative experiences with the spa's customer service. One customer mentioned being welcomed with a negative attitude and quoted a high price for a simple nail design, leading them to leave. Another customer described feeling rushed and manhandled during their appointment, with technicians prioritizing other clients and not properly addressing their needs. These negative experiences indicate poor customer service and a lack of attention to detail.
4. Injuries and lack of apology: Two customers mentioned experiencing injuries during their visit to Elysian Nail Spa. One customer got cut while her nails were being filed, and the other had a painful experience during gel nail removal. In both instances, the technicians did not apologize or take responsibility for their actions. This indicates a lack of professionalism and empathy towards customers.
5. Lack of cleanliness: One customer mentioned finding old toenails lying around the pedicure area during their visit, indicating a lack of cleanliness and attention to hygiene. This can be a major concern for customers who prioritize cleanliness and sanitation in their spa experience.
In conclusion, Elysian Nail Spa has strengths in providing quality service for special occasions, having multiple technicians who can deliver excellent service, and offering long-lasting manicures. However, the spa has weaknesses in customer service, inconsistency in service quality, lack of attention to non-acrylic clients, injuries without apologies, and instances of poor cleanliness. These weaknesses can impact the overall customer experience and reputation of the spa.

Best TL Reviews

Not sure if the service from anyone else but I was recommended to go here. The man who did my nails for my wedding did amazing! He recommended dip powder (I’m usually a gel lady) and I love them! Highly recommend, and I will be back!
Had one of the best experiences at this nail salon. Three different people worked on my nails and did a wonderful job! Never had tips added to my finger nails before and was surprised how good they looked and felt. Highly recommend for anyone in the Nashville area!
As someone who not only works in the service industry, but the beauty industry as well, I know how impactful feedback can be. So, it’s not my greatest pleasure to leave negative feedback about this nail salon, but they’ve left me with no choice. I was recommended this nail salon by my customers. Their acrylic nails were always on point, and beautifully designed. I no longer get acrylic nails, but I do love my dip powder. However, after five experiences at this salon I don’t think they appreciate their non acrylic clients at all.
As I previously stated, today wasn’t my first visit to this salon, but it was the straw that completely turned me off. I thought my first experience was rushed, but it had nothing on my service today. I know what you’re thinking, why give someone five opportunities, but again, I’m in the service/beauty industry, and I wanted to give them a chance. Plus, my nails never chipped, or broke so they have to kinda know what they are doing. Now, that’s saying a lot coming from me. Seeing as I’m a full time wax specialist, and I’m hard on my nails. My first visit to this salon was okay nothing special. Someone definitely could have swept the floor, as their were old toe nail laying around the pedicure area, but I get it. You get busy. The service wasn’t great, but it wasn’t bad enough to run me away. Now, my second service. There was so much left over powder on my hands. I wish I would have taken a photo, but I could have done my toes with what was left behind. The girl seemed new. So I chalked it up to inexpensive. However, I was picking flakes from off my hands for two days. The SLOPPIEST dip job I’ve ever seen in my life, but they still didn’t break. Now, that’s saying a lot. Im not new to getting my nails done by a long shot. So I was really impressed with the longevity of my nails.
The 3rd time by far was the best experience. I’ve had a different tech every time, and this time the older gentleman in the salon did my nails. He took his time, my shape was on point, and he seemed the most knowledgeable. Now, because of that experience. I figured I could give them another try. Sigh, welp my next visit was the most painful.
A younger gentleman did my fingernails, and he did a number on my cuticles. Chewed them UP! I’m not being extra. There wasn’t a finger that didn’t have a piece of skin missing when he was done. It was the burning for me. He seemed too eager to get to his full set acrylic client, than he was in slowing down, and making sure he wasn’t taking chunks out my skin. Did he apologized for his mistakes, of course not. He just powered through the service, and made it seem like it was my fault because I was moving. Ironic, because I’ve never had that problem before. I also left with my nails shorter than they were when I arrived. Which is confusing. I specifically asked for my length to be left alone. Allllllllll of this after soaking my feet for an hour, and in half waiting for my services to start. A mess.
Now my experience today. The worse!! I was supposed to get a pedicure as well, but after they finished my first service. I was ready to go. I’m talking completely turned off. I mean not that I really had a choice anyway. My technician was in such a rush, yet again, to get to his ombré full set client!!! I guess he missed the part where I requested a pedicure. He casually brought it up as he was checking me out, but I wasn’t going to allow him to continue to man handle me. I was ready to go!
Stay tuned for Part 2
As soon as me and my sister walked in, they welcomed us with a negative attitude and wanted to charge us $129 for a very simple short square nail designs. Very rude so we decided to leave without getting the service.
My first time, I went in at closing time and a lady did my fingernails while a gentleman did my pedi. I was extremely satisfied with the quality of both. These days, I usually only get a pedi. They are always efficient, providing excellent customer service! I wouldn't go anywhere else...
First time here n bad experience. I didn’t even get anything complicated I got two colors. the fingertips weren’t even glued onto my physical nail. There is space . That acrylic is already lifting . they are very uneven and a few nails are a lot thicker than the other ones. there’s a big difference she even left acrylic all under my finger nail I feel like I paid too much for something that could’ve been done by a beginner
Worst experience ever! I went in for a gel nail removal and the tech hurt me and then told me he couldn’t do what I wanted and to leave. UNBELIEVABLE ????
My daughter got her nails done here and the lady filed them so hard she filed a chunk right through her skin. It was so bad it started to bleed and they had to clean it up. The nail tech was not apologetic and when it was time to pay, she only offered a $5 discount. $5 is nothing compared to the cleaning we had to do to prevent an infection from setting in especially when we were expected to spend $95. There was no apology offered and we even noticed about 3 other cuts on her fingers once my daughter got home. There seems to be a common theme of poor service and cut fingers from the other reviews. We used to frequently patronize this nail shop but we will NEVER go back again!
