Quick Facts About Envy Nails & Spa
Envy Nails & Spa has received a mix of positive and negative comments. In order to provide a comprehensive evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of the place, it is necessary to analyze each comment individually.
1. The first comment describes disappointment with the service received. Both the gel acrylic set and gel polish did not meet the customer's expectations. This highlights a weakness in the quality of the nail application and the durability of the products used. Additionally, the comment mentions a lack of willingness from the staff to fix the issues, indicating poor customer service.
2. The second comment highlights more issues with the pedicure service. The customer experienced discomfort and pain during the pedicure, indicating a lack of professionalism and care from the staff. The high price charged at the register without prior clarification is another negative aspect. This suggests a lack of transparency and fairness in pricing.
3. The third comment provides a positive experience at Envy Nails & Spa. The customer praises the staff for their communication skills and the quality of their work. The ability to make the customer feel relaxed and satisfied indicates strength in customer service and nail services.
4. The fourth comment recounts a negative experience involving a dip manicure. The customer's cuticles were not properly protected during the application, resulting in damage and discomfort. The improper removal method demonstrates a lack of knowledge and professionalism from the staff. Making the customer pay for the damage is an additional negative aspect, showing a lack of responsibility on the part of the salon.
5. The fifth comment describes an embarrassing and unprofessional encounter with a nail technician. The lack of willingness to fix a noticeable issue suggests a lack of attention to detail and customer satisfaction. This comment points to a weakness in the quality of nail application.
6. The sixth comment mentions unprofessional behavior from a nail technician. Allowing the customer's fingers to prune from extended soaking and hovering while inputting the pin is an invasion of privacy and a sign of poor professionalism. The refusal to accommodate the customer's request for a paraffin dip also shows a lack of flexibility in their services.
7. The seventh comment implies that the service provided was rushed, resulting in an infection a few days later. This raises concerns about the cleanliness and hygiene practices at Envy Nails & Spa, highlighting a possible weakness in their sanitation protocols.
8. The eighth comment suggests that Envy Nails & Spa is an average place, offering nothing special. The quick gel pedicure is seen as a weakness, as it may not provide thorough and relaxing treatment for the price charged. The high price for a regular polish change and even higher price for a gel polish change also indicates questionable pricing practices.
Based on the comments, the strengths of Envy Nails & Spa seem to lie in excellent communication skills, quality nail services in certain instances, and creating a relaxed and enjoyable experience for customers. However, the weaknesses detected include inadequate quality control, a lack of attention to detail, inconsistent customer service, questionable pricing practices, and potential issues with cleanliness and hygiene. These weaknesses may impact the overall reputation and customer satisfaction of Envy Nails & Spa.

I always come here to get my nails or toes done but the last 2 times has been absolutely disappointing. I went with my mom and she got a gel acrylic set she kept telling the lady that her nail was crooked and she just filed it down to the point she has no nail and wouldn’t fix the acrylic itself. I got a gel polish on my real nails it hasn’t even been more than 72 hours and my polish is already coming off. It was $35 just to get my nails painted with gel. I guess you won’t be getting our business again!
I'm not the type to post complaints but after being charged 75 dollars for this mess I had to say something. Like others said you can't ask for a redo or speak up during the pedi or when cashing out.
As you can see around all the edges of my cuticles are ripped off or were bleeding dry and cracked. At one point I had to tell her she was burning me then I had to say she was tearing my cuticles. I pulled away a few times and she smiled and put an ointment on my toes. She had no idea what I was saying. The polish is bumpy no shine and no symmetry.
They said my deluxe pedi would be 60 dollars but it was 75 dollars at the register.
I just moved to the area and have been trying to find a good place to go. I went in for a fill in and pedicure as well as my daughter having her first pedi tonight. Staff was very communicative about everything. My nails came out better than I expected and my deluxe pedi was to die for. The lady that did my daughter's pedi was amazing and gentle with her and made her feel like a princess. Never seen my kiddo so relaxed and excited at the same time. Definitely worth the money and we will be back.

My gram went to this salon for a dip manicure and the dip was all over her cuticles. As her nails grew, the dip was lifted and her hair would get caught.
What really is disappointing is they RIPPED her dip off using a tool to get under the dip (remember it was slightly lifted to begin with). Her nails are torn up and 2 of them are missing chunks of nail, you can see the skin.
My gram has never had dip removed, so she did not know how it was done. I am in absolute shock that they did this and still made her pay 5 dollars! She said she was in tears because it hurt so bad. It wasn't until she sent me pics and called me for me to tell her that is not how it's done.
She loves getting her nails done with me and gets so excited. Now it is ruined for her.
The absolute worst service ever. I got French tips for work and the white was noticeably crooked on ever nail, I politely asked the nail tech to please fix the left sides knowing how hard it is to get them perfect when doing it freehand, but she looked at me and told me next time I come I should ask for someone else because she doesn’t want to do my nails again. I was so embarrassed, I felt like 2 inches big all because I asked for the whites to be even.
My nail tech was very unprofessional. She let my nails soak so long my fingered pruned because she was doing something on her laptop. I had to explain several times that I don’t want gel, I want regular polish. They would not let me add on a paraffin dip because they only go with gel. She also hovered over me as I paid with my card, watching me type my pin in. Not that I expect her to steal my card or anything, but as a retail work, I know it is common decency to not watch the customer type their pin.
Would not recommend lady was really nice but she was rushing and a day or two later i got an infection
Ok place. Nothing special. Very very quick gel pedicure for $45. They charged me $10 for a regular polish change on my hands and mind you my nails are as short as a five year old. They wanted $25 if I chose the gel polish change!
