Quick Facts About Essense Nails Spa

Essense Nails Spa has both strengths and weaknesses, as evidenced by the comments provided. It is important to consider both aspects when assessing the overall quality of the place.
Starting with the strengths, many customers appreciated the customer service and overall experience at Essense Nails Spa. One customer mentioned that despite being packed on a Wednesday night, the staff made sure to get them in on time and did not rush through the service. The presence of a larger bridal group did not hinder the quality or efficiency of the service. Additionally, the technicians, such as Vincent, were praised for their skills and professionalism. The clean and elegant environment of the spa was also mentioned as a positive aspect, contributing to a relaxing experience. The inclusion of complimentary beverages, including wine, added to the overall satisfaction of the customers.
Furthermore, some customers had positive experiences with specific services such as pedicures and dip manicures. They were satisfied with the results and the duration of the service. These positive experiences reflect the potential strengths of Essense Nails Spa in terms of delivering quality services and accommodating customer needs.
However, there are also significant weaknesses that need to be addressed. Several customers reported issues with the longevity of the manicures and pedicures they received at Essense Nails Spa. Peeling gel nail polish and chipping dip manicures were particularly mentioned, which is concerning considering the customers' previous experiences with other salons. One customer mentioned that their gel manicure only lasted one week, which is below average and may not meet customer expectations.
In addition to durability issues, some customers also complained about the quality of the work done by the technicians. Sloppy pedicures and miscommunication regarding colors and shapes were mentioned. This indicates a lack of attention to detail and a potential inconsistency in the delivery of services. Customers also expressed concerns about the technician being on a FaceTime call during the service, which is unprofessional and disrespectful to the customer's experience.
Moreover, the issue of customer service arises in a few of the comments. One customer expressed disappointment with the salon's refusal to refund money for a service that did not meet their expectations. Another customer had an uncomfortable confrontation with a technician regarding an additional fee, which was not adequately communicated beforehand. These instances reflect a lack of transparency and customer-centric approach, which may deter customers from returning.
In conclusion, Essense Nails Spa has both strengths and weaknesses. The positive aspects include good customer service, skilled technicians, and a clean environment. However, weaknesses such as durability issues, inconsistent quality of work, and lapses in customer service need to be addressed. Improvements in these areas would likely enhance the overall customer experience and satisfaction at Essense Nails Spa.

Best TL Reviews

I went in for a the first time for an acrylic fill and fill polish 8/25/21. It looked great and didn’t take time at all. Well I got home and was making dinner and my gel nail polish started to peel. I was annoyed, this has never happened in 10 years of getting my nails done. So I went back the next day and the same guy fixed them for me. By this time I had worked at a local restaurant and 6 nails have peeled off. I was happy again becuase I checked the edges and made sure they were correct. Well the next day, they peeled again while at work. I call them and asked for my money back just for the color. Because I will have to go to another place where I KNOW my nails won’t peel. They said no it’s not their policy to refund money and I can come back and get them fixed there. I was absolutely not returning for a 3rd time! $41 down the drain. I have had acrylics and gel polish for almost 10 years and have worked in the restaurant industry for just as long. I have never had this issue (broken nails, yes, nails pop). But the day after getting them done NEVER. All I wanted was the $5 or $10 back to go get a color change at somewhere I have been. I’m newer to the area and was trying to test out other salons closer to my house. My nails last 2 weeks before they start to fade. NEVER AGAIN.
I had such high hopes for this nail salon seeing how expensive it was. I had a dip manicure done and on day 7 they started chipping off. Called in hopes to get it fixed and was told they aren’t responsible for the breakage. I’ve had dip done many times before and never had a break!
I get a pedi once or twice a year. Last time was awesome. Lasted an hour. This time I left in 30 minutes and had rough areas on my feet and still had dirt under my nails.
Best friend is getting married so we stopped by Essence to get mani & pedis. There was another larger bridal group there and despite being packed on a Wednesday night they made sure to get us in on time for our appointment and didn’t rush us through any of it even though we were there til 7. Vincent was a blast and absolutely killed it on my friend’s dip + tip (she’s an anxious picker so ignore the cuticles). Not only were they good nail artists but we really enjoyed the over all experience a lot. Definitely recommend them.
My experiences with nail salons are minimal, however I took my wife here as a birthday gift and we LOVED it. Ly and Mary were our technicians and they certainly delivered.
The Spa is very clean and they offer beverages (including wine) right as you walk in.
My wife is adament that she'll be back, and honestly I think I'll join in. Really a great way to take care of yourself and relax!
Very nice people but the work is not quality. They had me soak my powder off with most of my hands sitting in acetone for a while which destroyed my cuticles and dried out my fingers to the point of my skin peeling off. The gentleman that did my pedicure did a sloppy job and I had to pick a different color twice because he didn’t understand the color I picked didn’t match the one he got. He didn’t shake the bottle so the color was watered down and didn’t look right. My gel manicure only lasted one week. $110 for both. I won’t be going back.
As of my most recent visit, I am no longer a customer.
I was assigned to someone new, and as soon as I sat down, she started confronting me about not paying the extra fee for shaping last time I was there a month ago.
I told her that I was not aware it cost extra, as I had never been charged for it except last time, but I just explained to the cashier it should be included and she said okay and took it off.
I also mentioned that on their menu they only list certain shapes to cost extra, to which she responded “we can’t put everything in the menu”.
I am fine to pay the extra $5 if this had been communicated to me at the time of service, but never had any tech told me this and it’s not on the menu under the extras section. It’s a standard shape that one would easily assume is part of the service.
Instead of just chalking this up to a miscommunication, this lady spoke as though she had caught me being sneaky which was a horrible feeling. She also implied I took advantage of how busy they were last time, so they just let me go without paying the correct amount.
I contemplated leaving but we had already started so I decided to stay.
After that, she had a FaceTime call while doing my nails which is, quite frankly, inappropriate. In what job is it okay to be FaceTiming someone while you’re facing a customer?
After she was done, I checked my nails and they were uneven in length. When I asked her to fix them she acted like it was an inconvenience and only attempted to fix the index fingers but one is still obviously shorter than the others. How ironic that the first time I get unevenly shaped nails is the first time I’m paying extra for it.
The only reason I left a tip was to avoid further conflict.
Went in on a weekday as a walk-in. The wait was 15 minutes. The pedicure was great. The place was very clean and elegant feeling. The chairs were excellent for the massage. Loved it overall.
