Quick Facts About EVA African Hair Braiding
Strengths:
1. Positive feedback on stylist's skills: One customer mentioned that Ms. Christina was awesome and they fell asleep during the appointment. This demonstrates that the stylist is skilled and efficient, providing a satisfactory experience for the customer.
2. Availability and openings: Despite some negative comments, multiple customers mentioned that the salon always had openings or was readily available. This indicates that customers can easily book appointments and find a convenient time to get their hair done.
3. Satisfaction with the outcome: Some customers mentioned that they were pleased with the outcome of their hair. This suggests that the salon is capable of producing good results and meeting their customers' expectations.
4. Fast service: One customer mentioned that the stylist's niece was fast while doing their hair. This indicates that the salon can provide efficient and timely service, which is appreciated by customers who might have busy schedules.
Weaknesses:
1. Lack of professionalism and communication: Multiple customers mentioned instances of rude behavior and poor communication from the owner. This includes not listening to customers' requests, arguing, and even talking negatively about customers in another language. This lack of professionalism can make customers uncomfortable and impact their overall experience.
2. Inability to deliver the requested style: One customer mentioned that the salon did not touch their son's hair as requested. This suggests that the salon might lack the skills or expertise to execute certain styles, leading to customer dissatisfaction. This can be a significant weakness as it affects the salon's reputation and customer trust.
3. Issues with hair quality and durability: One customer mentioned that their braids were heavy and bulky, making it difficult to style or wear them in a ponytail. Another customer mentioned that their braids started coming loose within a few days. These issues with hair quality and durability suggest a lack of attention to detail and proper technique in the braiding process.
4. Limited payment options: One customer noted that the salon only accepts cash, which is seen as outdated and inconvenient in today's modern technology-driven world. This can be a disadvantage for customers who prefer to use alternative payment methods, such as electronic payment apps or credit cards.
5. Lack of professionalism in pricing: One customer mentioned that the owner likes to change prices, even if she is not the one doing the hair. Inconsistent pricing practices can create confusion and distrust among customers, as they may feel like they are being taken advantage of or charged unfairly.
Conclusion:
EVA African Hair Braiding place has strengths in terms of positive feedback on the stylist's skills, availability, customer satisfaction with the outcome, and efficient service. However, it also has weaknesses in terms of unprofessional behavior, inability to deliver requested styles, issues with hair quality and durability, limited payment options, and inconsistent pricing practices. These weaknesses can negatively impact the salon's reputation, customer satisfaction, and overall business success.

My son just left this shop today for a wash and retwist. I wasn't present but my husband was. It doesn't look like they touch his hair. They will do a service without telling you they are not capable of doing the style just to get paid. I will be contacting them tomorrow for a refund or for someone in this shop to twist his hair. After I get what I paid for my son will NEVER walk foot in this shop. Had I been present I would have requested a full refund. I'm so disappointed.
I Bought my friend there and she seemed to be pleased with her outcome. My issue is, in this time of modern technology a licensed establishment, open to serve the public only except cash? In my 55 yrs on this rock,. One only excepts cash for selected reasons. I mean she could at least get a slider for your phone? She dosent even have cash app for God sakes! Your in America now, get it together.
Ms. Christina is awesome on your head. I'm tender headed. I fell asleep while she was doing my head. She's awesome got micros took 4hours. I recommend 10 ????
I told them what I wanted and the owner was rude. My braids are HEAVY. Not flat and I can not put them in a pony tail. She charged me 200 on my way out the door the owner rudely told me “next time I won’t do your hair for 200 because used 7 bags on your hair…. Which I braid hair myself so had she not made my braids so big and bulky that would have never happened. My braids were so big along my middle part I had to go home and redo the braids along my part and edges so that I felt okay with wearing them. I won’t be going back.
Our first time visiting with this establishment and the wait was long but worth it. My Granddaughter got some Fulani braids and they are so pretty n neat. Thanks to the Stylist job well done!!!
She’s too argumentative. Does try to hear what your trying to say just so quick to argue. And she likes to change prices even if she (Eva) Isn’t doing your hair. (But the plus) their always available or have openings. But she’s rude.
I loved ít I'm new here, and I just needed my hair done. Her niece did my hair. She was fast and really sweet. I loved it so much when my mom came in town I took her to get hers done as well. I will definitely be going back when my current ones get old!!
The braids were coming loose within a few days. I went there to bring it to their attention she blamed me and started talking about me in their language & laughing pointing at me. Made me very uncomfortable so I left. They are rude and don't care.i will never return. She charged me same price when I brought my own hair. $180 out the door. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
