Love, love, LOVE Famous Hair in Simpsonville! I have been using this salon for ten years. I am very spontaneous and rarely make an appointment (just walk in) yet the staff does everything they can to accommodate me. I like changing my look often and they are great at interpreting and executing my new do. Long, short, coloring, high-lights, root touch-up...they have done it all for me! Melody is my regular stylist and she is awesome! However, if she were not available, I would not hesitate to use another stylist there. I also love the atmosphere where I can let my hair down (pun intended) and have friendly conversations that are always sprinkled with lots of laughter!
I have came here several times, and I will say that since the management has changed I have had wonderful experiences. The team in the salon seem to have a great skill set and are extremely nice and friendly. There is no awkward silence, just conversations and laughter. Melody is an excellent stylist!
Had the 1st appointment in the morning. Yet it took 1 hour for my daughter to get shampoo & cut. Didn't even blow dry or style. Other people were put before us. What's the point of having an appointment. I'd understand if we had a later appointment and they were running behind, but we were the 1st aappointment in their book that morning.
Melody is an amazing hairstylist she is the hairstylist for our whole family, we will see none else. She is the best, you will leave with a smile on your face and be prepared for the compliments you will get on your hair!!
Worst haircut I have EVER had. I went in and asked for a TRIM and specifically said I wear my hair in a pony tail and a bun often, and that I wanted to keep my length. Simply wanted to trim up the dead ends. I wound up walking out with half my hair gone. It is so uneven and choppy and I absolutely hate it. I firmly believe my child could have given me a better trim turned haircut and I am so disappointed. A month later and I am upset every day over this!
So grateful for the wonderful staff at this salon. Not only has their sanitation and mask wearing procedures been phenomenal through this whole ordeal, but they always go the extra mile to make my grandmother(who has alzheimers) feel safe and at home everytime we enter their facility. Great Clips won't do that! Thank you guys so much!!
I made an appointment yesterday and when I got there the the sign said they were at lunch and will be back at 6:30 however nobody came back so I canceled that appointment and change it for the next available appointment on their website which is at 10:15 the next day. when I got there I waited for 12 minutes before anybody even greeted me and when they finally did they said I’m sorry we don’t have any appointments available. We told the others that booked on the web to come back. The store really needs to get more organized. the only reason I was attempting to go there was because it was closer to my house in my normal salon but needless to say I will never be back
