Quick Facts About Fancy Nails & Spa
Fancy Nails & Spa is a nail salon that has received both positive and negative feedback from customers. In order to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the salon, we will analyze the comments provided.
One strength of Fancy Nails & Spa, according to the comments, is the quality of work done by certain technicians. One customer specifically mentioned that Lisa did an excellent job on their nails, even referring to a picture they had shown as a reference. This indicates that there are skilled technicians at the salon who can provide a satisfactory service to customers.
Additionally, the cleanliness of the salon is also mentioned as a positive aspect. One customer appreciates the cleanliness and usual prompt service of the salon, suggesting that the salon maintains a clean and hygienic environment for its customers.
However, there are several weaknesses highlighted by the comments as well. One major weakness is the poor customer service experienced by a few individuals. One customer recounts a terrible experience where the technician cut their toe nails too much, causing bleeding and damage to the nail bed. When they expressed their dissatisfaction to the receptionist, there was no assistance or offer for reimbursement. Similarly, another customer felt disrespected and lied to when they were made to wait for a long time without any communication or attempt by the salon to rectify the situation. This lack of customer service can greatly impact the overall experience and satisfaction of customers.
Another weakness mentioned is the lack of proper disinfection practices at the salon. One customer reported getting a bad infection and noticed that the salon did not seem to disinfect anything. This raises concerns about the hygiene practices followed by the salon, which can be a major health risk for customers.
The durability of the nails and the quality of the products used is also an issue raised by customers. Several customers mentioned that their nails broke soon after getting them done or that their nails became weak and damaged. This suggests that the salon may not be using high-quality products or providing long-lasting results.
There are also issues with appointment scheduling and management. One customer's appointment was misplaced, causing frustration and confusion. When the customer requested their preferred technician, they were told that someone else would provide the service or they would have to wait for 30 minutes. Miscommunication and disorganization in appointment scheduling can lead to a negative experience for customers.
Another weakness highlighted in the comments is the lack of experience and skill exhibited by some technicians. One customer mentions that the technicians took a long time to complete a pedicure and ultimately left them with poorly done nails. This indicates a lack of expertise and training among certain staff members, which can result in subpar services.
In conclusion, while Fancy Nails & Spa has skilled technicians and a clean environment, there are several weaknesses that need to be addressed. The poor customer service, lack of proper disinfection practices, durability issues with the nails, appointment scheduling problems, and lack of experience among some technicians all contribute to a negative customer experience. Addressing these weaknesses can greatly improve the overall quality and reputation of the salon.

I just got my nails done and it was horrendous. Truly! Omg, I had to go get them fixed right away at Chelsea nails spa. This place is horrible.
Worst pedicure I’ve ever had. Paid $35 for her to make my toe bleed and cut my toe nails down to numb ruined my nail bed after I asked her to stop cutting them down so much she continued told her repeatedly I don’t like them like that asked her to stop after painting one foot was a terrible experience. Didn’t get any of the dead skin off my feet. Called the receptionist to express my dislike and she could not assist me asked if I wanted to see someone else in the salon but never offered to reimburse me.
Lisa did an excellent job on my nails! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she perfected it!
I live miles away but followed the nail technician Lee to Fancy nails. Lee's work is beyond amazing but im totally aggitated by what happened. I spend about 260 a month on nails and pedicure so when i make an appointment I expect you would have competent people who answer the phone. I was told I had no appointment and was immediately put on the defense (when did I call etc) but then I remembered I got a confirmation on my phone early this morning. I was then told someone other than Lee would give me a pedicure or I could wait 30 min. Then another woman comes to do my pedicure and other workers come to talk to her in Vietnamese (guessing about my aggitation) which is totally rude. I inform Lee I wont be back because I didnt even get an appology. When youre spending almost enough to make a car payment, per month, you expect good service. It wasn't until i complained to Lee that it wasnt about her that I would not be back, that the owner apologized. While they have a fancy chandelier and a good looking environment, it really comes down to service...of which I got only aggreviation. I did speak with a man who identified himself as the manager so they were well aware!
If you care about quality of service and value your time and money read this.
This is my usual nail shop. I appreciate their cleanliness and usual prompt service but today they were incredibly disappointing. Its already enough when you feel that a nail tech is rushing through to get the service completed but when you are blatantly lied to and made to wait it is purely disrespectful. I am not sure how nail shops manage their teams but the churning in and out of clients sacrifices quality of service.
Today, I stepped into the nail shop at 4:19pm as a walk-in for a gel manicure. I was asked to wait 20 minutes - I did. In fact, I stepped out to avoid crowding their front. When I returned about 25 minutes later - I was asked to wait some more. I took my time selecting a color about 10 minutes. The receptionist went to locate the gel color for me and asked me to sit and wait. I did. 40 minutes later - I was asked to take a seat with the nail tech -- she got started on me and an appt of hers came in. Why I was sat if she had an appt--- is not good business sense?! She filed 4 of my nails and I was asked to move over a seat. I patiently waited to be told what was happening -- nothing! I asked, is someone going to do my nails? The receptionist said yes in 2 minutes-- 10 minutes went by. An hour into this whole ordeal, I stood up and left. I absolutely can't stand a disregard for my patronage. I would have been more than happy to hear at the start of all this - hey we are pretty booked up this evening. We can book you for ---. Instead no one said anything and no attempt was made to rectify. You can't make it work, just say so and I would have still been a customer. Not anymore.
Now I want to get on my soap box and ask if any of these ppl are getting paid a fair and living work wage. Do they have quotas?! They are bringing in millions off their backs and somehow can't turn away customers even when they don't have the time or ppl to serve them.
Being there a few times, but after this not anymore! I got a very bad infection, I just getting over it. Now, I realized I never seem them desisfecting anything. Thankfully, my finger is doing better, but my nails are so weak! I am afraid to have them done again. They charged so much money just to ruin my nails and caused me a very bad infection!
It has not even been a week and two nails broke . This is the second time I have gone there to a different person and it still tends to suck there sorry to say . For feet is ok but if your looking to get nails done there I do not certainly recommend to go here . 88 dollars just for this
The worst place to get your nails done is this. They took an hour and a half to get my toenails done and finally they left me with the worst nails. It's incredible that there are people who get into doing nails without having experience.
