Quick Facts About Gallup Nails & Spa

Gallup Nails & Spa has a mix of strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. Here is an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses:
Strengths: 1. Good job on toes and nails: One comment mentioned that the staff did a great job on both toes and nails. This indicates that the salon is capable of providing quality service in terms of nail care. 2. Fun experience: A first-time customer mentioned that they had a lot of fun during their visit. This suggests that the atmosphere in the salon is enjoyable and welcoming. 3. Established customer base: One commenter mentioned that they usually come to this establishment. This indicates that Gallup Nails & Spa has a loyal customer base, which could be a sign of quality service or affordability.
Weaknesses: 1. Inconsistent quality: Several comments highlight the inconsistency in the quality of service provided. One customer received a manicure that looked horrible, with white nail polish all over their fingers. Another mentioned that the nail technician chopped off all of their natural nails instead of just removing the gel nails. This indicates that there might be a lack of attention to detail or a lack of communication between the nail technicians and customers. 2. Rushed service: Multiple comments mention that the customers felt rushed during their visit. One customer mentioned that their whole process took only 15 minutes, suggesting that the staff might prioritize speed over quality. 3. Poor customer service: One customer mentioned that they witnessed racial discrimination at the salon, where white customers were prioritized over others regardless of arrival time. This highlights a significant issue of racial bias within the establishment. Additionally, another customer mentioned that the staff was rude and provided poor customer service when they had an issue with their nails. This suggests that the salon lacks proper customer service skills and fails to handle customer complaints professionally. 4. Lack of communication: One customer mentioned that the nail technician did not listen to their request for an ombre color, resulting in a color that was not what they wanted. This indicates a lack of communication between the staff and customers, leading to dissatisfaction with the final result. 5. Inefficient appointment system: One customer mentioned that the salon did not have a working system to meet the needs of their customers. This could indicate a lack of organization and efficiency within the salon.
Overall, Gallup Nails & Spa has a number of areas that need improvement, particularly in terms of consistency in service quality, customer service, and communication skills. It is essential for the salon to address these weaknesses to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty, as well as to attract new customers.

Best TL Reviews

Ask for white tips with pink powder, ended up getting clear tip with glitter pink powder. She just ended up painting white on it. Looks horrible. White nail polish all over my fingers. Cuticle oil dried up my skin and looks like acrylic has been sitting inside of it as well. Had to use lotion right after and peel off whatever was inside the cuticle oil. Lady rushed the whole process. 15 mins tops. Will definitely go somewhere else next time. Im pretty sure my nails will break off in a few days.
They were nice and did a great job on my toes and nails. I will go again.
When I moved to Gallup, I was hesitant about coming to the nail spa due to its ratings and after multiple visits, the negative reviews are worthy. I came on a day with not a lot of customers and the worker asked to come back in an hour, so I did and she told me the exact same thing :( this is one of the many bad experiences I had here.
This was my first time ever getting a pedicure lol
I had a lot of fun ????
I usually come to this establishment. I came at noon on Sunday and waited in line for thirty minutes before it opened. We all signed in. I signed in with the anticipation that we all would be served in the order we signed in. Apparently not!!
Instead people came in after us who were served first (unfortunately) because of the color of their skin. When I brought up the issue that I, like several others had been waiting for over 2 hours and had seen four lite skinned women pass through and they had neglected a number of us, the tech made the claim that she would get to me next. I refused and directed her to the woman who had stood in line ahead of me and was still waiting. I no longer recommend this establishment. They do not have a working system to meet the needs of their customers. Its obvious that the workers here for some reason feel the need to cater to white consumers first regardless of who arrived first.
The Dine' have always been the dominant group to contribute to this towns economy. A majority of business establishments would not be thriving without Dine' customers.
I no longer recommend this business. Once I witness racial discrimination at any business I'm at, in any form it deters me from ever returning.
On behalf of My Grandmother she was very disappointed on the service she was given. She went in for a GEL NAIL REMOVAL while informing the nail tech that she wanted to keep her REAL NAILS. That did not happen, the nail tech chopped off all of her NATURAL NAILS and left the residue of the gel nail polish on her nails! It’s your job to communicate with your customer based on their own preferences! We are never coming back again for your lack of customer service! Next time you listen on what your customer wants!!!
This is the worst place to get your nails done they did it in 30 mins. They were so ugly and the ombre colored i asked for looked liked they mix to colors together made my nail very yellow instead of pink. When i asked if it was gonna stay like that they told me yeah i cant go back and fix it thats what u wanted. I didnt remember asking for pee colored nails. I paid 213 for that which i will never do again i should have just walked out instead of paying.
These people are so rude. I go to get a full set and pedi and my friend got a mani. The lady did my nails in 20 mins and did a poor job. She kept putting super glue on the inside of my already done nails to fix I guess what she messed up. That is the fastest I have ever had my nails done. I just let it go. Then I asked for a pedi and they told me to sit in a chair so I did. 20 mins later I had to ask for water to soak my feet. They liked popped their tongue as if I was a burden. They put cold water in it. I told them it's very cold. They said you need to wait for hot water. They ended up having to drain it to put hot water in it. The lady finally started my pedi and literally was so ruff she brused my leg and ankle. I go to leave and she charged me $110. Before I even got home my white tips on nails started to pull away from acrylic. I called to let them know. They told me they never did my nails and that I was lying. The lady screamed at me the entire time. GREAT COSTUMERS SERVICE. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN AND NEITHER WILL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
