I didn’t want to write a bad review as they are such sweet ladies but I am at my limit and I don't want anyone else to have to deal with what I did. I have gotten not only one but two toe infections due to this place. I thought the problem was me the first time until I did my research. They cut the cuticles on the toes so aggressively that it starts bleeding and then allows for an infection to happen. And they most likely do not clean their materials in between patients. Getting toe infections is extremely painful and expensive to fix. Not worth the pedicure at all. In terms of manicures, I have not had a full on infection, however, I did have swollen puffy nails afterwards that were very painful for a couple of days. Getting your nails done should be a pampering and relaxing experience, not something where it is hard to walk for a week afterwards.

I had a bad experience at a different salon that gave me very poor quality gel tip extensions that barely lasted a week. The staff at Golden nails fixed my nails and they have never looked better. Even with acrylics, my nails looked more natural that with the gel tips! I wanted natural looking acrylics, and they delivered 100% and surpassed my expectations. I will definitely continue to go here for the price and quality of their services!
First visit and we had a very good experience! Very clean, tools are sterilized and wrapped in packages that are opened in front of you so you know they weren't used on someone else. The massage chairs work perfectly are a pleasure to use! You're greeted and seated, feet soaking in warm water, and handed menu cards to choose your services.
I'll be going back in a couple of weeks for my next pedicure!
Had an excellent experience here. Great staff, great service, great pedicure. Priced well and a nice little sunny space to be in. Not super modern looking, but they have a great color and polish selection and the staff and quality were wonderful. I’ll be back!
I live in the UK. Every time I come to Berkeley - which is once or twice a year (covid permitting!) - I head straight here. They are excellent. Their work lasts for weeks when I get home and it’s always a pleasure to be in their friendly and professional salon.
I love my home away from home where I do a very selective "me" time. Everyone there is great! It's not your typical corner nail salon!
They do an awesome job! My gel nails stay on for up to 3 weeks without chipping and they always look flawless when they finish. Such a hidden gem!
