Excellent addition to Preston food scene. Very flavoursome dishes. Good portion sizes and very friendly service. The steamed Momos are a must try. We had 4 different vegetarian dishes and all were very different but hugely tasty!
so luckily i took a picture before demolishing the biryani which is just the biryani i was looking in around preston. The best biryani in preston!!!! i believe that for the quality they serve and taste idt anyone can match himalyan monal. thank you monal and the chefs for always making it special.
We are regulars here and were so glad when we discovered this small eatery couple of years ago! It has weaned us away from all other Indian restaurants. When a Nepali restaurant serves excellent dosas with authentic sambar and chutney, you can be sure that they have a good chef.
Other things to try - Paneer tikka, Aloo tikki chaat (ask for chopped onions on top), mini uthappam platter, veg biryani (order extra raita), spicy fried momos.

It was a great experience. Tried both vegetarian and chicken biryani. It was delicious and filling. Gajar ka halwa( carrot halwa) was too tasty. One of Preston's must-try restaurants, especially for Indian food.
