Totally disaster!!! The lady was unprofessional and rude. She says 20 years of experience but cuts like a maniac. She ruined my haircut. Hope nobody will get such an awful experience…
Kay is very friendly & very experienced! The experience is what I’ve been looking for in a barber since mine of six years moved out of state. Her pricing is very reasonable as well! Too reasonable in fact for the service she provides. Kay provides a comfortable experience! She knew exactly what I wanted out of a haircut, where most have failed that I’ve been trying recently. Glad I found her!
I've been living in thus area for a while and only went to major retail salon to get haircuts. It is such a relief to get a real barber that knows what they are doing! Kay takes great care of me and has definitely earned herself a loyal customer. When it come a to a good haircut, attention to detail goes a long way. Getting a shave from a straight razor vs clippers at a salon looks and feels better and lasts longer. Every time I've been there I've left not only looking much better but also feeling better.
Update: I've started bringing my son here now. He is now 3 years old and loves it. Prefers coming here over the actual kids haircut places that have airplanes and cars that he sits in which says a lot
Kay did not treat me with respect and went against all of my requests by simply buzzing my whole head with a 2-guard. She never asked me a single question after a broken, mousey "Numbah 2?" She either couldn't understand much of any English or didn't care about my specific request for a "tapered buzz on the side with a scissor cut on top, about an inch" After a very polite expression of displeasure about the haircut being entirely different than my request, she responded loudly, angrily, and repeatedly, "Dat numbah two! Dat numbah 2! Dat numbah 2!" I left looking like a simpleton who had a crack at my own buzz cut with my caretaker's dog clippers. A very traumatic nightmare of an experience.
Kay is wonderful! She uses a straight razor for the neck and sideburns and will trim your eyebrows on request. Afterward you get a aftershave neck rub all for under 20 dollars! Support local people. What a gem.
Kay did a fantastic job. I had read the reviews, so I wanted to try it out. Same experience as others mentioned. She's very good, and she helped me figure out a better hair style for myself. Very affordable, and deserving of a nice tip!
I am not from this area. Having said that, I needed a haircut for an interview the following day. The owner fit me in immediately. She cut my hair with a skill I have never seen before. Not to mention, she cleaned up my goatee, eyebrows, and my neck with a straight razor. I currently live in a different state, and I would be willing to drive back, (5 hour drive), to have hair cut my her again. Yes, it was that good.

Upon entering the place there are 2 seats and you got to take a number for your turn. She's a single Korean lady who is detail oriented, she really cares about how she cuts your hair. But no signs of how much she charges, seems as if the local knows exactly how much to pay. Sometimes she could get really busy, she gets Christian songs on which is good for change, and great for your inner peace. She's not much of a talker, just getting the hair cut that's it which is great. Nor does the customer needs to tell her how to cut their hair.
