Quick Facts About Lualualei Beach Park
Lualualei Beach Park, located in the Westside 96792 area, has its strengths and weaknesses, as indicated by the comments from visitors. In terms of strengths, one visitor states that the parking area is peaceful, allowing for a relaxing environment. Additionally, the beach park is praised for its beautiful sunsets, which are said to be one of the most stunning in the world for approximately 355 days a year. The beach itself is described as fairly quiet, making it an ideal place to chill and relax. Another positive aspect of the park is that there is some music playing in the background, contributing to a chill vibe.
One visitor also mentions the opportunity for self-reflection and meditation at Lualualei Beach Park. They highlight that on a sunny day, the park has the potential to recharge the soul. This could be a strength for those seeking a peaceful and introspective experience.
However, there are also several weaknesses mentioned in the comments. The cleanliness and maintenance of the park are areas of concern. One visitor mentions that the bathrooms are in need of major maintenance and attention. They recommend bringing your own toilet paper and hand soap. Another visitor notes that it took two days for the area around the bathroom to be cleaned. This lack of cleanliness may detract from the overall experience and comfort of visitors.
Homelessness and the presence of homeless individuals is another weakness mentioned by multiple visitors. One person states that the beach park is inhabited by the homeless population of Wainae. While they express understanding and even compassion towards this situation, it may still be a downside for those seeking a more pristine and secure environment. Other visitors also mention the presence of homeless people in the surrounding area, with one noting that the park is not well-kept due to the trash left by homeless individuals. This could create a less visually appealing and potentially less safe environment.
Furthermore, a visitor cautions others to be careful when visiting Lualualei Beach Park. They advise having someone who is familiar with the area and its protocols, as there may be hidden dangers such as strong currents, reefs, and areas with sharks. This warning suggests that the park may not be the safest destination for those unfamiliar with the area.
In conclusion, Lualualei Beach Park has strengths such as peaceful parking, beautiful sunsets, and a peaceful atmosphere for self-reflection and meditation. However, weaknesses include the lack of cleanliness and maintenance of the bathrooms, the presence of homeless individuals, and potential hidden dangers in the water. Visitors may need to weigh these factors when considering a visit to Lualualei Beach Park.

Just wanted a place for myself and youngest daughter to get away - The bathrooms need some major maintenance & attending to but it is a place to use the bathroom (Just bring your own toilet paper & hand soap)...... Otherwise I found the parking to be peaceful - There were some houseless individuals roaming around BUT for the most part friendly... There is a little music playing in the background but a real chill vibe...... If you are not too boujee it may be a beach park to consider for a few days......
So as of last night I found out that my beach park camp site is inhabited by the houseless of Wainae - Instead of being upset I ended donating food to the family... I will seek my refund from the county later - I ended up being directed to GOOGLE MAPS to the wrong location BUT ended up finding an evem better place... My photos now reflect what I know now after a kind Police Officer notified me that I was at the wrong place yesterday evening...... Also in a post I gave my honest opinion BUT I do like how after two days they finally cleaned the area around the bathroom...
The Westside 96792,were the most beautiful sunsets in the world at least 355 day's a year...
Lovely sunsets on this fairly quiet beach. A great place to chill and relax
Be careful, Do not without having someone that knows somebody a friend of a friend. Are people there have a certain protocols that is different from each Beach and also the hidden dangers of the current and the reef and shark areas best to have a friend that knows the area I would say it's a must.
Ocean view was great. However the surrounding area had a lot of homeless people with a lot of trash laying around. The place is not well kept unfortunately because if it was it would be a nice place to hang out for awhile. Still recommend it as a stop if passing by but I don't recommend driving out of ur way.
There's few homeless people around, they don't bother. Just no act "high maka maka kine" aka head high/all that or like your dodo no stink!
Not the best looking park in Waianae but if you're into self-reflection and meditation then this park is for you. On a bright sunny clear blue Waianae day, this park will recharge your soul.
