Quick Facts About Lavie Nails & Spa

Lavie Nails & Spa is a nail salon that has received both positive and negative feedback from customers. In order to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the place, let's analyze the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, it is evident that the salon has a reputation for providing excellent pedicures. Customers are satisfied with the pedicure services and consider them to be the best. This indicates that the salon has skilled professionals who are able to deliver high-quality results. The fact that they don't push extra services on customers is also appreciated, as it creates a more relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for clients. Additionally, the availability of an ATM with no fees is a convenient feature that customers seem to appreciate.
Customers specifically mention two nail technicians, Mai and Yen, for their exceptional skills in making nails look good. Their work is valued for its longevity, with customers mentioning that their manicures or pedicures last for several weeks without lifting or breakage. This suggests that these technicians have expertise in providing durable and well-executed services.
However, there are also several weaknesses highlighted by customers. One recurring complaint is the rushed service and lack of attention to detail. One customer mentioned that their nails were not shaped properly and the technician did not address the flaws pointed out. Another customer found that their nails were not filed to the requested almond shape, indicating a lack of attention to customer specifications. These experiences result in dissatisfaction and discourage customers from returning to the salon.
Inconsistent service is another issue raised by customers. One customer had a positive experience with a nail technician named Lisa, praising her for the quality and quickness of her service. However, another customer had a significantly negative experience with multiple technicians. They reported being kept waiting without clear communication, receiving a subpar set of acrylic nails that broke within five days, and having issues with their eyelash extensions. These inconsistencies in both skill and service quality can lead to frustration and a lack of trust in the salon.
Additionally, the durability of the polish used for manicures is a concern for some customers. It is mentioned that the polish chips easily within a day of getting the manicure, which is disappointing considering the $20 price tag. This could indicate a need for the salon to invest in higher-quality polish or improve the application technique to ensure longer-lasting results.
Furthermore, the lack of digital payment options for tipping is seen as a disadvantage by some customers. They mention that tipping without cash is not possible, forcing them to either bring cash or use the salon's ATM. This inconvenience could be addressed by implementing alternative tipping methods such as mobile payment apps or card-based tipping options.
In summary, Lavie Nails & Spa has strengths in providing excellent pedicures, avoiding pushy upselling, and having an accessible ATM with no fees. The skills of certain technicians, such as Mai and Yen, are highly praised for their ability to create long-lasting and well-crafted results. However, the weaknesses of rushed and inconsistent service, lack of attention to detail, and issues with polish durability and tipping options need to be addressed to provide a consistently positive experience for all customers.

Love this place. They have the BEST pedicure. They also don't push extra services on me and the ATM has no ATM fees.
Thanks to Mai and Yen for always making my nails look good. I drive from Yuma, You both are awesome !! ????
I LOVE the way "Yen" does my nails....they look great for at least 4 weeks... no lifting or breakage....
I drive 16 miles (even with high gas prices) just to get my nails done by "Yen" & my pedicure by "Mai"...
I've been here a few times then stopped going. Well my new mail shop was closed and I returned here and remembered why I stopped coming. They took me as a walk in but I don't believe they really had the time. She rushed on my nails and did not shape them properly. I pointed out some of the flaws. She didn't really correct them and I didn't want to be a complainer. I asked to keep my almond shape but she rounded them out instead of filing to a slight point. My memory has been refreshed, I will not go back.
My normal nail salon is closed due to COVID-19; I hesitated to go somewhere else, but I was familiar with this location. I had developed a fungus under an existing nail & needed to act. I was able to get in the same day I called. Lisa did my nails & I was pleasantly surprised with her quality & quick service. I recommend & will return.
This place is okay. The employees are nice, however, my friend and I just got our nails done on Monday, and by Tuesday both of ours were chipping ( without picking at it). Paying $20 for a manicure makes me think the polish they use should be more durable. The atmosphere is nice, and the place is clean and up kept. Also, there isn’t a way to tip without cash so make sure you bring some or you’ll need to use their ATM.
I had scheduled a nail appointment for the day of and an eye lash appointment the day after, (due to no eyelash appointment that day). When I showed up I was taken back and she asked what I wanted for my eyes, I was confused cause I was told they couldn’t do them but was all for it. It took about 30 min for her to do my lashes the rest of the time she was outside the room not sure what was happening. After about another 20 or 30 min she came back into the room and said they were done.she didn’t tell me how to take care of them or anything at all I didn’t even get a spoolie to brush them out with. I was ready for my set but she had said there was no time for my nails to get done to come back, after I made a big deal about how the whole reason I came was to get my set she sat me down a started to do them for me, she was on her phone the whole time barley even paying attention that she was drilling my nails. half way threw she switched people btw. I’m telling you this is the worst set of acrylic nails I have ever gotten. I was at this place for almost 3 hours in total, all I got was a red gel on them and a rhinestone. The nails look like normal nail polish, 6 of the rhinestones fell off the same day I got them done so I went back and the lady who fixed them even asked if I got gel or polish. THE GEL JUST FLAKED OFF a day of I got them fixed. I have had these nails in total of 5 days, 2 have already broke off. My eye lashes have gaps in them as well I noticed it the first day as came back to have those fixed as well but she wanted there and never respond to any of my texts. Not worst any of the money or time I spent.
I recently came here and got a full set of gel and a pedicure. The woman who did my pedicure not only cut my toe where it hurts to walk she lifted my pinky toe nail up and now it’s about to fall off. Then when getting my full set the lady ask if I want my cuticles cut and I said yes and thought it was odd cause usually any place I go just does them automatically? She then proceeded to tell me she wanted to charge me $5 more to even touch my cuticles?? Uhm
No! Not very friendly and seemed they just wanted me out of there Since the last time I came here their prices have gone up and the service has gone down! I will never be going there again!!!
