Quick Facts About Lazy Days Café

Lazy Days Café has numerous strengths that make it a popular choice among customers. Firstly, the café is commended for its cleanliness and fresh atmosphere. This creates a pleasant environment for customers to enjoy their meals and socialize with friends and family. Additionally, the bright conservatory at the back of the café provides additional seating space, allowing more customers to be accommodated comfortably.
Another strength of Lazy Days Café is its friendly and welcoming service. The fact that some locals are welcomed by name indicates that the staff genuinely care about their customers and strive to create a personalized experience. This contributes to a sense of community and makes customers feel valued and appreciated. Moreover, the positive comments from customers mentioning the efficient and attentive staff further highlight the strength of the café's service.
The traditional menu at Lazy Days Café is also an asset. Customers appreciate the range of delicious cakes available, as well as the selection of fresh home-cooked food. The café's emphasis on providing quality and flavorful meals is evident in the positive reviews from customers who enjoyed their paninis, sandwiches, and coffee. The roll-down brown paper menu is also mentioned as a fun and creative way to display the specials, which adds a unique touch to the dining experience.
Lazy Days Café also offers free wifi to its customers, which is highly valued in today's connected world. This amenity allows customers to stay connected and use their electronic devices while enjoying their meals or working remotely. The inclusion of this service indicates that the café is attentive to the needs and preferences of its customers.
While these strengths contribute to the overall positive reputation of Lazy Days Café, there are a few weaknesses that are worth addressing. One customer mentioned that the portion size of the soup they ordered was meagre for the price they paid. Although the café responded by reducing the price, this feedback suggests that the portion sizes may not always be satisfactory to customers. It is important for the café to ensure that their portion sizes are consistent and provide good value for money.
Lastly, one comment mentioned the desire for a bigger appetite to try the enticing cakes available at the café. While this comment may seem inconsequential, it suggests that there may be a missed opportunity to promote the cakes and desserts more effectively. Lazy Days Café could consider showcasing its cakes more prominently or offering smaller portions to cater to customers who may not have a large appetite but still want to indulge in a sweet treat.
In conclusion, Lazy Days Café has several strengths that contribute to its popularity among customers. These strengths include its cleanliness, friendly service, traditional menu with delicious cakes, and the provision of free wifi. However, there are a few weaknesses identified, such as inconsistent portion sizes and a potential missed opportunity in promoting cakes. By addressing these weaknesses and building on their existing strengths, Lazy Days Café can further enhance the dining experience for its customers and reinforce its positive reputation.

I stopped in at this vibrant little cafe for a lovely warming lunch. It was clean and fresh, with a bright conservatory to the rear providing additional space. Service was friendly and welcoming. It was great to see some of the locals welcomed in by name, and clearly there are many returning customers. The menu is traditional with a range of delicious cakes. The roll down brown paper menu is a fun way to display the specials. It was great to be able to log into the wifi too!
My hubby and I found this great little cafe whilst travelling back from holiday and stopped here for lunch. It was clean and friendly and with a good choice of fresh home-cooked food.
We had a panini and a sandwich which were both delicious, and good coffee and tea too :)
We were (sadly!) too full for the amazing looking cakes and declined the offer of a cake-away as we still had several hours travelling ahead of us.
I have saved to favourites and we will call again next time we’re in the area :)
Great place for brunch - they catered for 14 of us for a family get together including a vegan, several vegetarians and two gluten free. Meat comes from the butchers over the road and everything was delicious.
Lovely café, well looked after by the very efficient ladies and staff... I'll be back next time for another tasty sandwich ~thanks ladies ????
Really nice little café, selling light lunches as well as larger meals. Lovely coffee and a changing selection of cakes. Very smart, clean toilet. Highly recommended.
Just been introduced to here by a good friend. Lovely place down a side street. Plenty of seating inside and out, clean and spacious.

A nice place to meet up with friends and family.
Very meagre amount of soup for £6.50, although when I commented at the checkout, they did reduce it to £4.00
