Quick Facts About Ledo Nails & Spa
Ledo Nails & Spa, based on the comments provided, has both strengths and weaknesses that affect the customer experience. It is important to analyze these factors to gain a comprehensive understanding of the establishment.
Starting with the weaknesses, one common theme mentioned in the comments is the lack of professionalism displayed by the staff. Customers emphasize instances of rudeness, unprofessional behavior, and insulting conversations about customers themselves. This kind of behavior can be highly detrimental to the overall experience, as customers seek a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere during their visit to a nail spa. These negative experiences mentioned by customers can leave a lasting impression and result in the loss of potential returning customers. Additionally, the issue of high turnover among the staff is also a concern. A high turnover rate can be indicative of larger management or leadership issues within the establishment.
Further, the quality of the services provided at Ledo Nails & Spa is also criticized. Customers mention specific instances of dissatisfaction, such as uneven nail lengths, crooked nails, bleeding cuticles, and poorly done pedicures. These issues highlight a lack of attention to detail and the expertise of the nail technicians. Customers expect high-quality services when paying premium prices, and when these expectations are not met, it can lead to disappointment and frustration.
Another weakness mentioned by customers is the outdated and cluttered environment of the salon. Comments highlight old furniture, dusty surroundings, and a general lack of cleanliness. A disorganized and unclean atmosphere can negatively affect the overall experience and make customers question the hygiene and sanitation practices of the establishment.
On the other hand, despite the weaknesses, there are a few strengths identified by customers. One recurring positive aspect is the praise for specific employees, such as Nicole, who provides excellent spa pedicures. Customers appreciate the thoroughness and professionalism displayed by these employees, which shows that there are staff members who excel in their job roles and can provide a positive experience.
Additionally, the convenience of walk-in appointments and acceptance of alternative payment methods like Apple Pay is a strength that draws customers to Ledo Nails & Spa. The ability to accommodate customers without prior appointments and provide flexible payment options can be attractive for those seeking convenience and ease of access.
In conclusion, Ledo Nails & Spa has several areas where improvement is necessary to provide a better customer experience. Issues like unprofessional behavior, poor service quality, outdated environment, and lack of cleanliness need to be addressed to retain and attract customers. However, positive attributes like accommodating walk-ins and the presence of talented employees show potential for improvement if these strengths can be further developed and maintained. In order to gain a more accurate understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of Ledo Nails & Spa, it would be beneficial to analyze a larger sample of customer feedback.

First visit, asked for a full set, French. Not friendly at all and I was disappointed with the results. New set should be perfect right? Not all the same length, even the French was different widths and 2 nails were crooked. Not worth $60 !!! Not to mention made my cuticles bleed. Never again.
People go to get their nails and feet done to feel better about themselves. Last time I went Scott made me feel uncomfortable. I made the mistake of going back. This time I used an interpretation app and had my earbud in and they talked so bad about customers. I thought Helen was better than that but she’s not. The owner included. And my nails are horrible. I ran out in tears.
They use to be good but I see why the turnover is so high. The way they talked about folks they could push someone to kill themselves. Horrible.
I will NEVER patronize this place AGAIN!! The only reason I stayed is because I really need a new set, every one else was closed or appointment only, and the sweet black young lady pedicurist that completed my pedicure.. My grievance is the place was pretty raunchy, furniture old, out dated and dusty. The place is cluttered as well. Then the prices are RIDICULOUS!! This dude tried to charge me $60 for a full set short length and NO POLISH! He tried to charge me $60 after he told me he could not do the very simple design I asked for and I opted out of getting polish all together after he told me his hand shakes and he can no longer really do designs. Because if you are too shaky to do a design, polish may not be great either. Then for a regular pedicure with gel polish they are charging $57!!!! I DO NOT mind paying $100 or more for my services.. When I receive them. But I did NOT receive $117 worth of services. The audacity of this place. The only thing good they have going was Nicole the pedicurist, she was very sweet professional, and did a good job.. I WISH I WOULD SPEND MY MONEY HERE AGAIN!! NEVER!! $60 FOR THIS! TGMFU!! Only reason I didnt act a donkey is we know how it goes if the police are called. and for sure they would have called the police on me..
Emerald did my nails there she was great and sweet she took her time and was very gentle I will highly recommend this place and ask for her
Literally the worst nail salon I’ve ever been to. Asked for almond shape and seems like the nail tech didn’t want to do it. Proceeded to give me the worst round shape I’ve ever seen. All nails different lengths and crooked. Super thick, looks like that “100 layers of nail polish” challenge. Very overpriced for the quality of work offered. Only went because they take walk ins and Apple Pay and that’s something apparently hard to find around Albany.
worse place to go , over priced and then the my toe nails only lasted a week and got I gel polish . And they are very unprofessional.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Although my service by my nail tech was ok, the service my friend received was very unpleasant. From the moment we walked in the lady upfront was rude. As she was doing my friend’s pedicure, you can tell she was rushing through so my friend asked her if she could spend a little more time scrubbing the heels of her feet, the lady got very unprofessional, started to sling water everywhere and speaking in their native tongue. Not once did my friend get rude or even the slightest out of tone. She told the tech that she didn’t have to worry about finishing. We saw another tech finishing up with his client and asked if he could complete her pedicure (Not knowing that was her husband) he then stated “NO NOT AFTER YOU TALKED TO MY WIFE LIKE THAT” When his wife was the rude aggressor. The entire experience was uncalled for and extremely unprofessional. I will NEVER go there again. No one apologized, they all acted like it was normal behavior for them. Not even my tech, she carried on like business as usual. If we are spending our hard earned dollars the least they can do is be professional, this business is terrible, plus their decor is dated, their chairs are dated, the AC was clearly not working and on top of that the customer service was bad! Highly not recommended!!!
Nicole is the absolute best with the spa pedicure! Very thorough and she's also very nice!
