One strength of Lee's Fish Bar is that the staff is described as nice. This suggests that customers have had positive interactions with the employees and have felt welcomed and served politely. Additionally, the comment about the place looking clean indicates that the establishment maintains a tidy and hygienic environment.
On the other hand, one weakness mentioned is that the chips were undercooked. Underdone chips can be a significant disappointment for customers, as it affects the overall taste and texture of the dish. This suggests a lack of attention to detail in the cooking process.
The sausages and fish at Lee's Fish Bar are generally praised by customers, indicating that the quality of these items is acceptable. However, a weakness highlighted is that the batter on the sausages and fish is very flat. This suggests that the batter might lack the desired crispness and lightness that customers expect, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the meal.
Another weakness mentioned is the wet curry sauce. This indicates that the consistency of the sauce might not be to customers' liking, as wet curry sauce can be perceived as unpleasant and overly runny. This suggests a need for improvement in the preparation or recipe of the sauce.
However, a strength highlighted is that Lee's Fish Bar is considered by some customers to be the most consistently good fish and chip shop in the area. This positive comment indicates that the establishment has a reputation for delivering satisfactory food and service, leading to customer loyalty. It suggests that Lee's Fish Bar has established a level of quality that customers appreciate and rely on.
Parking being limited is mentioned as a weakness. This can be inconvenient for customers, especially during peak hours when the shop is crowded. Limited parking might discourage potential customers from visiting the establishment, resulting in a potential loss of business.
One strength emphasized is that the chips at Lee's Fish Bar are described as being nicely fried and not greasy. This suggests that the establishment pays attention to the frying process, resulting in chips that are not overly oily or heavy. This is likely to be appreciated by customers who prefer healthier or less greasy options.
However, a weakness mentioned is that the fish batter is thin. This suggests that the batter might lack the desired texture and flavor, potentially affecting the overall enjoyment of the fish dish. Customers might prefer a thicker and more flavorful batter to enhance the taste and provide a satisfying mouthfeel.
Another strength mentioned is that the fish and chips at Lee's Fish Bar never change and are always perfect. This indicates that the establishment maintains a consistent level of quality, ensuring that customers can depend on receiving a satisfying meal every time they visit. Consistency is an important attribute for a food establishment, as it builds trust and loyalty among customers.
Lastly, Lee's Fish Bar is described as a good fish and chip shop that offers reasonably priced meals with good portion sizes. This suggests that the establishment provides value for money, as customers find the prices reasonable in relation to the quality and quantity of food they receive. This can attract and retain customers who are looking for affordable dining options without compromising on taste or portion sizes.
In conclusion, Lee's Fish Bar has both strengths and weaknesses that contribute to the overall customer experience. While the establishment receives praise for its cleanliness, friendly staff, consistency, and reasonably priced meals, there are areas for improvement, such as undercooked chips, flat batter, wet curry sauce, and limited parking. Addressing these weaknesses could enhance the customer experience and further strengthen the reputation of Lee's Fish Bar in the community.

They were nice in there and it looked clean. But the chips were under done. Sausages and fish OK, but the batter was very flat. The curry sauce was really wet. Definitely won't be going back, very disappointed.
Reasonable fish and chips. Not the best but good (chips are very standard square, slightly greasy ones).
Very standard, chips need cooking more. Cash only and not cheap.
Could well be the most consistently good fish and chip shop in the 'hood. Often crowded and parking is a bit limited. Don't leave it too late - closes at 2100hrs! Oh and still cash only.
The best fish and chips shop for miles
Chips really nice and well fried not greasy, fish not too greasy and well fried too but the batter was a bit thin for my liking.
Never changes always perfect fish and chips
A good reasonably priced fish and chip shop. The chips aren't greasy, nor is the fish batter. Good sized portions too.
