Quick Facts About Lee Spa Nails

Lee Spa Nails, based on the comments provided, has several strengths and weaknesses. We will discuss them in detail below:
Strengths: 1. Prompt Greeting and Service: One commenter mentioned that they were greeted as soon as they entered the salon and were taken care of immediately. This suggests that the staff at Lee Spa Nails provide prompt service and prioritize customer satisfaction.
2. Availability for Walk-Ins: According to one reviewer, there were only two other customers present in the salon. This indicates that Lee Spa Nails may not be overcrowded and can accommodate walk-in customers.
3. Affordable Pricing: The pricing at Lee Spa Nails was considered reasonable by one of the commenters. The affordable price attracted customers to the salon, as evident from the positive comment on the pricing.
Weaknesses: 1. Rough Service: Multiple customers mentioned that they experienced rough treatment from the staff during their visit. One customer stated that the nail technician was rough while doing their nails, while another commented that their friend's nails chipped shortly after leaving the salon. This suggests a lack of attention to detail and quality of service at Lee Spa Nails.
2. Poor Customer Treatment: Several comments described instances of rude behavior from the staff. One reviewer mentioned that the technician laughed at their desired nail design and made derogatory comments about their appearance. Another reviewer claimed that the owner was unwelcoming, impolite, and exhibited disrespectful behavior during the payment process. This indicates a lack of professionalism and poor customer service.
3. Lack of Technical Skills: Some customers expressed dissatisfaction with the outcome of their nails. One reviewer mentioned that the nail technician didn't understand their desired design and ended up ruining their nails. Another comment mentioned that the technician cut the customer's toes, causing bleeding. These instances suggest a lack of technical skill and expertise among the staff.
4. Misinformation and False Wait Times: Multiple reviewers mentioned instances where the staff provided false information regarding wait times and the presence of technicians. Customers noted that they were misled about the availability of staff and the estimated wait time. This reflects a lack of transparency and honesty in communication.
5. Uncleanliness: One reviewer mentioned that they observed general uncleanliness in the salon, which led them to stop visiting. This indicates a lack of hygiene and cleanliness standards at Lee Spa Nails, which can be a turn-off for potential customers.
6. Racial Discrimination: One customer felt discriminated against based on their race, as they claimed to have been ignored while a white customer who arrived later was attended to immediately. This suggests a possible issue with racial discrimination within the establishment.
7. Altercations with Owner: A few reviewers mentioned confrontations and arguments with the owner of Lee Spa Nails. One reviewer claimed to have been stabbed by the owner during the removal of acrylics, while another mentioned being yelled at by the owner. These instances indicate a hostile and unprofessional environment created by the owner.
In conclusion, while Lee Spa Nails initially appears to have strengths such as prompt service and affordable pricing, the numerous weaknesses highlighted by customers including rough service, poor customer treatment, lack of technical skills, misinformation, uncleanliness, racial discrimination, and altercations with the owner indicate significant areas requiring improvement.

Best TL Reviews

Was greeted as soon as I entered the door with my friend, and taken immediately, with the fact that there was maybe 2 other people in there. I think the guy that did my nails was the owner, I’m not sure tho. He was kinda rough while doing my nails. He kept pushing my elbow onto the table, like it made a difference in the positioning of my hand (it really didn’t). My friend had to wait until my nails were done, even tho there was another worker open before she had taken another customer who walked in maybe 10 minutes after we did. She also said he was rough, kept pulling her hand, and shaking it aggressively trying to “relax” it. Pricing was $30 for my nails (pictured below) but my friends were $45, and the same length and shape as mine. Once we had left, we got in the car, and my friends nail had already chipped somehow. Decided not to go back in after realizing how poorly we were treated. The workers were also lying to customers waiting, saying there was someone in the back coming to help them, there was no one when I used the bathroom. Also telling customers it would be a 10 minute wait, when every nail tech had just started working with a customer. All in all, I won’t be going back.
I wish I would have seen the reviews before coming here. Just moved to the area so I was trying to find a new nail salon. I have never experienced more of a rude person than I did today. I showed the guy what I wanted and he laughed at me. It really wasn’t that serious it was a matte black with some gold. He said he couldn’t do the gold so I said do your thing and he laughed again. He brings out a black acrylic powder and I asked him if he could just paint them black so that I can take the black off when I get a fill. He said no. Then laughed again. So I asked him why do you keep laughing at me? He said, you’re not from around here are you? I said, no why do you say that? He said, I can tell by what you are wearing. Ok…. So I gave him a simple pink and white nail pic and he laughed again. They are nothing at all what I wanted and it’s hard to screw up a pink and white. The shape is awful the length is awful the nail tech was rude… I have never written a review but this needed some attention.
Horrible experience. Tech said she understood what I wanted. After she started removing old acrylic, she began gathering products. I then realized she had no idea what I wanted. Nails are ruined. Toes and fingers don't match. Never again.
I went in for a full set, waited nearly two hours and the nail technicians there, specifically the guy was super rude to me and the other customers. 1 star, would not recommend. The man there yelled in my face (even with COVID going on). When he did my toes he made them bleed and my friend who was with me got an infection in her big toe. In addition to that, he was doing my nails all wrong, could not follow directions & ended up taking all my nails off and made me bleed due to the brute force he was using on me.
This place really needs to be shut down they don’t know how to treat people.
The picture speaks for itself. Negative outweighed the positive.
While my mother was well taken care of by the lady who took care of her, the treatment and "work" completed on me was extremely disappointing.
The guy who seems like the owner wasn't welcoming or pleasant at all. He was rude shaking his head while I showed him photos of nail designs and why I was there (showed my decorated graduation cap). They were simple nail designs; I used to be a nail technician so I have experience. I was disappointed he wasn't willing to even share his own ideas or what creativity he was capable of, and ended up telling me to go with an older lady for my pedicure.
I informed her I am allergic to latex and she insisted on keeping the gloves on so her skin wouldn't get dry. She said she'd barely touch me while she cleaned up and would remove during the massage (which she did remove). She was right, she barely touched me because she didn't push my cuticles back (acted like she was), barely clipped my cuticles, and kept telling me to relax (because I wasn't sitting all the way back). I tried giving her the benefit of the doubt, and I regret the experience.
When I went to pay, it was another issue. We were already informed how much by the lady, and the owner gave us a different price (as he worked on someone else's nails). He assumed I did my manicure, and was charging us for that. As I tried explaining the completed services, the price for each and the total, he continued cutting me off and speaking in their language to the lady charging. I don't really care because I'm bilingual myself and my bf speaks a totally different language that I don't understand, but it's disrespectful that if we are trying to communicate, you on purpose make a statement in your language that I do not understand. I was done. I WILL NEVER RETURN.
The owner and my mother got into because he charged me a different price that was higher then the price he have my mother and we both had the same thing he told us not to come back
I sat there for about 20-30 mins no one said a word to me. This lady comes in after me (just happens to be white) and not even 5 mins later they’re helping her. The worker stated it’s because she had an appointment but he didn’t know who she was or what she was having done and how did he know I didn’t have an appointment? They never said a work to me. I just walked out because that is ridiculous and definitely seemed racially motivated. Definitely don’t value ALL their customers I guess, judging by the reviews it didn’t just happen to me either
I have been going here since 2008 . I used to love this place. It was always packed. I would go twice a month with my daughter. Now it’s like a ghost town. Barely anyone in there .But had to stop because I could no longer over look the general uncleanliness of the establishment or the rudeness from the owner. The last time I was there I left in tears after the owner repeatedly stabbed me while taking off the acrylics. It was the worst time ever. I didn’t even wait for the polish to dry. As I was paying ( yes I payed. I was not going to have the police called ????) I told him ( owner) if he was having a bad day he should not have taken me. He started yelling at me to get out and never come back. Which is fine because I will never go back. This review is to let people that have never been to this place that it is no good , don’t even bother . For the people that continue to use this establishment good luck ???? until you catch the owner in a bad mood or worse.
