Quick Facts About Lopez Taqueria
Strengths of Lopez Taqueria:
1. Delicious and fresh food: Multiple comments mention how yummy and delicious the food at Lopez Taqueria is. The food is also prepared fresh to order, indicating that customers can expect quality ingredients and flavors.
2. Friendly and accommodating service: Customers appreciate the friendly and helpful service provided by the staff, particularly mentioning the elderly man who took their order and the girl behind the counter. This positive interaction enhances the overall dining experience.
3. Variety of food options: The restaurant offers a diverse menu, including burritos, tacos, breakfast items, and Huevos Rancheros. This variety allows customers to choose their preferred dish and ensures there is something for everyone.
4. Affordability: The prices at Lopez Taqueria are considered reasonable and worth the value. Customers highlight the good price of the super burrito and mention that the prices are the best in the area. Affordable options attract customers who are looking for a delicious meal without breaking the bank.
5. Convenient store: Many customers appreciate the convenience store within the restaurant, which sells beer, liquor, and wine. This additional offering adds to the overall convenience and appeal of the place, especially for those who are looking for a one-stop shop for their meal and beverages.
Weaknesses of Lopez Taqueria:
1. Limited options for certain preferences: One customer mentions that they would have preferred beans and rice inside their carne asada burrito, as is common in Southern California. This indicates that if someone has specific preferences or expectations for certain dishes, they may not be fully satisfied at Lopez Taqueria.
2. Lack of frills and ambiance: While customers appreciate the no-frills atmosphere, it may not provide a highly curated or aesthetically pleasing dining experience for those who value ambiance. The focus of the restaurant seems to be more on the food and service rather than trendy decor or a luxurious atmosphere.
3. Spiciness of certain dishes: One customer mentions that the camarones diablo was too spicy for them. While spiciness can be subjective, it suggests that those with a low tolerance for spice may not find the menu accommodating to their preferences.
Overall, Lopez Taqueria appears to have several strengths that contribute to its positive reputation, such as delicious food, friendly service, affordability, and a diverse menu. However, there are also some minor weaknesses, including possibly limited options for specific preferences and a lack of frills or ambiance. These weaknesses are subjective and may not affect everyone's experience at the restaurant.

Super yummy! We enjoyed the food after our drive down from Campbell. Service was great. The elderly man who took our order was so nice & friendly. Food was fresh to order. It was my first time having the white beans and it was delicious! I asked what kind it was - and he happily told me about the Peruano bean. We were with our 2 young kids and they were able to accomodate our request of plain shrimp & fish taco. The camarones diablo was too spicy for me but the hubby enjoyed it. Definitely a no frills place but the food was worth the visit. Will definitely come by again the next time we’re in town.
If you are in the neighborhood n you are looking for a mean burrito it's a great place... The taste and the price are also ???? This time I had an order of Huevos Rancheros... Tasty n mild!
$12 super burrito pretty good. Definitely filling. Had better but definitely not the worst it was pretty good 8.5/10. The people who work there are SUPER nice and the girl behind the counter is gorgeous ????. I definitely recommend
Awesome. Just awesome. Excellent and friendly service, delicious food, amazing salsa, and an awesome variety of convenience store wares including beer, liquor, and wine. I highly recommend the tacos and burritos. Very happy with this great location!
My opinion is biased. I'm from southern California where beans and rice are not inside a carne asada burrito. Also guacamole is a must too. Unfortunately I had a bean and rice burrito with some meat. Why can't Alberto's franchise up here! Sorry for the 3 stars don't take it personally. If your ever is San Diego or LA go to any taco shop, it'll raise the bar of your taste buds.
They got some good breakfast burritos, worth the price ????,as well as Taco's ,the food is prepared like it's homemade ,quick service ,friendly staff
Best burrito ever. ???? Best service ever. Best prices ever. ???? Best beer selection ever. ‼️ Best store ever. ????????????????????????????
My favorite part about visiting Monterey tbh.
I've lived in Monterey my entire life and this is my go to spot. Grab yourself a few tall cans and a carne asada torta with some salsa verde, all for less than 15 bucks. Best prices in the area, great, chill, no frills watering hole.
