Quick Facts About Lucky Garden
Lucky Garden Place has received a mix of positive and negative feedback from customers. In order to evaluate its strengths and weaknesses, we will analyze the comments provided.
Starting with the weaknesses, there are several concerning issues raised by customers. One customer expressed disappointment and frustration at finding half an onion in their egg fried rice, which indicates poor attention to detail during food preparation. This suggests a lack of quality control and could lead to an unpleasant dining experience for customers. Another customer mentioned finding prawns in their chicken sweet and sour main dish, despite not expecting any seafood. This could pose a serious health risk for those with seafood allergies, potentially leading to severe allergic reactions or even death. This highlights a significant failure in communication and menu transparency. Additionally, a customer mentioned receiving bland spicy curry, plain salt and pepper chips, and a huge spring roll filled only with bean sprouts, all of which indicate a lack of flavorful and well-prepared dishes. The crispy beef was described as disgusting, suggesting poor cooking techniques or low-quality ingredients. The crispy duck was also mentioned as not being crispy at all, which is a clear failure in meeting customer expectations. Finally, one customer mentioned that the noodles from Lucky Garden Place were the worst they had ever tasted from a Chinese restaurant in Mexborough, indicating a lack of culinary expertise or care in recipe selection.
Despite these weaknesses, there are also some strengths mentioned by customers. One customer stated that despite a delayed delivery, the food was still superb and excellent. This suggests that Lucky Garden Place has the potential to deliver high-quality and delicious food, even under challenging circumstances. Another customer commended the restaurant for their fast delivery, hot food, and overall positive dining experience. They specifically mentioned that they wouldn't order from anywhere else, indicating a sense of loyalty and customer satisfaction. Additionally, a customer mentioned that their chicken in lemon sauce was the best they have ever had, highlighting the potential for Lucky Garden Place to excel in certain dishes and flavors. The prompt delivery and enjoyable meal experiences mentioned by several customers demonstrate the restaurant's ability to provide satisfactory service.
In conclusion, Lucky Garden Place has some notable strengths, such as delivering excellent and delicious food, providing prompt and fast delivery, and impressing customers with specific dishes like lemon chicken. However, it also has significant weaknesses, including issues with food quality control, lack of transparency regarding ingredients in dishes, and subpar flavor profiles in certain menu items. These weaknesses pose health risks, reflect poor cooking techniques, and indicate a lack of attention to detail. To improve and have a competitive edge, Lucky Garden Place should focus on addressing these weaknesses, implementing better quality control measures, improving communication and transparency with customers, and ensuring consistent and flavorful dishes across their menu.

PRAWNS IN THE CHICKEN SWEET AND SOUR!!!!!!
Got a take away tonight and my husband found half an onion (literally an onion chopped in half, not diced or sliced in anyway, just in half) in his egg fried rice and I have found at least 2 prawns in my chicken sweet and sour main.
I bit into 1 of them without knowing and immediately threw up (I hate fish/seafood) and then when I looked back in the tupperware that I'd taken half of the meal out of and started looking through it, and there is another prawn in there!!!!
I never expected there to be seafood in my chicken main meal!
Had I had a seafood allergy, I could have died! At least I only threw up!
Avoid at all costs!
Asked for spicy curry it was bland.
Salt and pepper chips very plain.
Spring roll which is huge filled with just bean sprouts was gross.
Dried out cucumber and spring onion.
Disgusting crispy beef.
Crispy duck was not crispy at all.
And the noodles are the worst noodles I've ever tasted from a Chinese place in Mexborough.
Delivery was a bit over due but when it arrived it was superb as usual. Excellent food. Thank you.
Definitely didn’t disappoint,, me once again was absolutely gorgeous , delicious food piping hot and very fast delivery even on a Saturday top marks for this restaurant I wouldn’t order from anywhere els , good value for money
Very nice for takeaway chinese food enjoyed it thankyou
I had chicken in lemon sauce. It was the best I have had. The chicken was cooked perfect and it wasn't swimming in lemon the right balance. Rice and soft noodle very nice too.
Lovely meal delivered on time :)
Called in here after a night out in Mexborough and local restaurants turned us away even though it was only 10.15pm. Quick service, great salt and pepper chips. Enjoyed both meals and prawn crackers for. Shame they don't take credit cards. The food was good so would recommend if your in the area and fancy a take out.
