Quick Facts About Luton Tawa House
Luton Tawa House has received both positive and negative comments from customers, highlighting its strengths and weaknesses. In order to provide a thorough analysis, we will discuss these comments and evaluate the restaurant accordingly.
Starting with the strengths, one recurring theme in the comments is the quality and presentation of the food. Many customers praised the lovely food and its great presentation. This suggests that the restaurant puts effort into ensuring that their dishes are visually appealing and well-prepared.
Additionally, the waitress was consistently described as polite, friendly, and accommodating. Good customer service is crucial in the hospitality industry, and the positive feedback regarding the staff reflects well on the restaurant. This indicates that the waitstaff are attentive and create a friendly and comfortable atmosphere for customers.
Another strength of Luton Tawa House is its interior design. Multiple comments mention the nice interior of the restaurant, suggesting that it is visually pleasing and adds to the overall dining experience. Furthermore, the spaciousness of the restaurant is noted, which is important for customers to feel comfortable during their meal.
The portion sizes were highlighted as a positive aspect by several customers. They expressed that the portions were large and satisfying, providing value for money. This is important for customers who want to feel that they are getting substantial servings for the price they pay.
Moreover, the concept of the tawa, which includes a platter with a variety of grilled and curry dishes, was appreciated by some customers. They found it to be a unique and filling experience. This suggests that the restaurant offers an interesting concept that sets it apart from other dining options.
On the other hand, there are some weaknesses that have been pointed out by customers. One common concern is the inconsistent quality of the food. While some customers praised the taste and freshness of the food, others were disappointed by the lack of flavor and seasoning. This indicates that there may be inconsistency in the kitchen's execution and seasoning of the dishes, leading to mixed experiences for customers.
Another weakness is the lack of accommodation for different tastes and preferences. Some customers felt that the food was too spicy for their liking and that there weren't enough options for those who prefer milder flavors. Additionally, some customers felt disappointed by the undercooked lamb chops, suggesting a lack of consistency in the cooking process.
Several customers mentioned cleanliness issues in their comments. Some reported dirty cutlery and crockery, and one customer even stated that they had to request the table to be cleaned. This raises concerns about the restaurant's attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Moreover, the service was seen as a weakness by some customers. They felt that the service could be improved, particularly in terms of promptness and providing necessary condiments such as salad and sauces without having to ask for them. This suggests that there may be room for improvement in the training and efficiency of the waitstaff.
Additionally, parking was perceived as a problem by one customer who described it as a "nightmare." This is an important consideration for potential customers, as accessibility and convenience contribute to their overall dining experience.
In conclusion, Luton Tawa House has several strengths such as its visually appealing and well-presented food, polite and friendly staff, nice interior, spaciousness, and generous portion sizes. However, there are also weaknesses that need to be addressed, including inconsistent food quality, lack of accommodation for different tastes, cleanliness issues, and subpar service. Addressing these weaknesses would improve the overall dining experience for customers and create a more positive reputation for the restaurant.
Best TL Reviews
The food was lovely with great presentation. The waitress was very polite and friendly too. The interior of the restaurant was also really nice. Our group was very comfortable. We got a large tawa for our group of 5 and there was plenty of food. I would love to return again soon to try some of the other dishes!
Slightly disappointed with the food quality. The portions were very good, but the food didn't tingle any taste buds apart from the burning sensation from the chillies flavour. The kids didn't enjoy the food due to the vast amount of spices. Although we should have asked for no spices. Portions were very large which was a plus. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Parking is a nightmare unfortunately.
Tastes as good as it looks. Tawa concept is to pretty much throw it all on a platter: the grilled chicken / lamb, wings, chops, kebabs, curries, daal, rice & chips. The £50 Tawa is good for perhaps 4 people. Pricey but very filling. It's a pretty large venue with around 20 tables. Was packed on a Saturday evening.
Lovely fresh food and amazing hospitality. Spacious and separate area for desserts. Convenient location with Sainsbury's and Lidl around the corner. Would visit again
Food was good apart from lamb chops being undercooked.
Very messy when we went. Had to request for the table to cleaned.
No salad or sauces given which is done normally by others. Had to call the waiter to provide..
Service could be better
The Tawa was average, curry’s have little flavour and the meat was overcooked and chewy. The grill food was ok. Concept is good but food needs a lot of improvement.
Save the euphoric moment of being presented with a tawa full of seemingly delicious food, there was nothing good about this place. Food was average to poor, bland, not seasoned at all. Cutlery and crockery was dirty. I normally don’t give bad reviews but I had too on this one. Up your game or doom is pending. Concept is great but delivery and implementation not good at all..!!
Lovely place and very friendly and accommodating staff!! Food was lovely too!! We got a medium mix Tawa and all of 4 us adults enjoyed it (my 10 month old enjoyed it too). Don’t listen to the people that say there’s too much sides and not enough curry ????. All the dishes were in decent sized portions and we still had some left over! Not from Luton but will definitely come back again. Had a lot of people ask me on social media me where this and I recommend they all go!!
