First time customer and for a basic solid color (sns dip) is fine but I asked for green tips on some nails and their completely uneven and just look messy. Most likely I’m not going back. Too pricey for what I got.I expect better. Nails x is way better.
They’re always in such a hurry that the quality is very poor. I keep going back because they’re quick but unfortunately that means they will leave you with terrible nails unless you say something. Often times you can’t tell how bad they are until you’re done. They’ve also started requesting cash which is CRAZY because nobody Carrie’s cash anymore. After my most recent nail app in April 2022 I will NOT be back. I payed way too much for terrible awful nails. Didn’t even get enough color to make my tips not see through! There’s also a “grain” on my nails as it was not filed down properly. From afar they look nice. But that’s it.
I have had nothing but great experiences here. I go to get an SNS manicure every 3-4 weeks. Every time I go there is little to no wait, they complete the manicure in less than an hour, the prices are great, and they do a good job.
Very sloppy and rushed ….The lady that is at the station to the right did not follow the assignment ! my nails was Terrible my nails was rushed not neat at all she did not use enough acrylic super really thin and they chipped turn yellow in 3 days my pinky nails one is longer then the other I do not recommend !!!! And I say that because I asked her to fix them and it went in one ear out the other very dissatisfied and I was charged 100.00 !!!!
The salon was dusty and dirty. The nail dryer station had dried fingerprints and polish. The man who performed my services basically grunted at me and only gave quiet commands. There was no small talk whatsoever, while I listened to other workers have full conversations. He nipped my skin under my nail twice and I winced in pain. He did apologize. He didn’t trim a cracked nail that had a sliver still attached. I clipped it this morning. He did not get the polish evenly on some of my nails. I was charged $25.00 for a basic manicure and polish. I gave him $40.00 and asked for change. Of course he brought me back 3 fives, which forced me to tip him $5.00 because I didn’t have the nerve to ask for five ones. I don’t believe his performance merited a 20% tip. So, $30.00 total for a mediocre manicure. Their pricing is misleading. The little signs give the prices and then say $5.00 discount for cash. When I questioned him, he stated that my manicure would have been $30.00. Perhaps the person who created the chart had a translation issue between the two languages, but overall, this was not worthy of my $30.00. I was too embarrassed to say anything, but I won’t ever give this salon my business again.
Too quick, frugle, and careless to polish enough layers to cover the nail without the tips showing through. After having 2 nails pop off within a week last time I tried this place, I went here because my daughter and I were in a crunch on a Sunday. Luxx is okay at best, if you want a SIMPLE design for considerably more $$$ than other local places, but lesser quality. When my daughter politely told them she would pass (she decided to just wait to go to her regular tech) the short-haired lady in a ROCK-N-ROLL jean jacket became rude. Her and my tech started speaking in Vietnamese and pointing outside at my teenage daughter and shaking their heads laughing at her (as she likes her nails done long and had jewels on them). They proceeded to talk about her for several minutes and snicker then in English my tech said "your friend didn't want service?" I corrected her and told her it was my daughter. She (the manager) then became quiet the rest of the appointment. I asked her 3 times to fix a lobsided nail, that was extremely crooked. She continually told me "I'm not done," when I would politely point to the crooked-nail. Sure enough, she sent me out with it like that. I wasn't going to ask her a 4th time. I just won't spend my money there again. I spent a half hour once I got home filing them properly to where they weren't crooked and didn't have drip marks at the bottom by my cuticles. Very poor application and manners. I can see why the other 2 local Nail Salons have better ratings.
I'm no nail tech but I've been getting my nails done long enough to see what goes on here. They will rush you out the door, sit you down immediately giving you no time to pick a color, and then skimp on steps like a base coat. The last two times I went here they did not do a base coat... why? Too expensive and the staff is extremely rude.
Came it at 5pm (they close at 8), they said it would be awhile... So I waited and I watched them basically take walk ins right before me... They told one customer they couldn't take anymore, but then another came it to inquire about a chrome color and she just sat down. So as they started to call that person back and another... I said what am I... I've been sitting here waiting...
She said I told you it would be a wait and they already put their name down
I said... That one didn't she walked in to inquire ..
I'm only getting a mani and a Pedi... No acrylic... Nothing.... $110 cash or $130 with a card.... I won't be back
