Had dip removed and new French dip applied. After one day had two nails crack. They graciously fixed them when I returned. But now 9 days into a manicure and they all almost have cracks and breaks. I have had many sets of acrylics, builder gels, and for the last year or so dip manicures (from various salons as I travel for work) but I haven’t ever had an application last such a short amount of time.
This is the best nail salon in Manhattan - and I’ve been to about all of them probably. I’ve been going here for years. It’s super clean, the people that work there so all so nice and they treat all of their customers really well. It’s a fair price and they do a terrific job. I wish I could give them 10 stars.
I went to get an acrylic overlay on my natural nails with gel polish. The outcome was unsatisfactory my nails are uneven and they chipped within 3 days. For the amount I paid I expected service. One last thing when I asked the price the nail tech started speaking back and forth to the other tech in another language before I got the quote. Would have been appreciated if it was stated in the English language for my understanding.
Honestly, I read all the reviews after I made my appointment and I was a little worried. I shouldn't have been! This experience was AWESOME. I have been to soooo many other nail salons in Manhattan and this little hidden hole in the wall is top notch! Very clean environment, happy people, more than happy to stay a little late and finish up my party's mani/pedis. My acrylic set is absolutely gorgeous and my feet feel so good! 110% recommend.
Went in for a full set of acrylics that took 2.5 hours and paid $75 they are awful! Too thick, crooked, all uneven lengths and shapes. Less than 24 hours later they cracked.. My regular nail place is over an hour away and I did not feel like driving that far so I took a chance here.. today I’m driving that extra distance with my tail between my legs to ask my regular gal to fix this mess! Ugh..
Manhattan nails is my go to place for getting my nails done! I always have a pleasant experience and am happy with my service I received. The space is clean and inviting and the technicians are very nice!
Really respect this establishment, it was Valentine’s Day me and my boyfriend came in when they had less then 45 minutes to closing and they still got us in. We both got a pedicure. And they still did not rush! In the midst of us getting our toe nails done another couple came in & they took them as well. To top it off they even wound up doing a fill for me (mani). They made our night. The nails lasted as they should. I got white tips & they were all good.
I am really happy with my nails but feel it may be slightly over priced.
