2. Additional Fee for Cutting and Shaping: One customer mentions being charged an additional $5 for cutting and shaping their nails, which they believe was added because the technician assumed they wouldn't tip. This could be seen as misleading or unfair pricing.
3. Burns from Facial Wax: Another customer complains about receiving burns during a facial waxing service. They mention experiencing sensitivity and redness from the burns, suggesting a lack of skill or care during the service.
4. Long Wait Times: One customer mentions having to wait for two hours for a new set of nails, and then being denied a second service because the nail technician took too long. This indicates issues with managing appointments and accommodating customers in a timely manner.
5. Inconsistency in Service: One customer suggests that bad service is purposely given to certain demographics as a way of targeting them. If this is true, it indicates a lack of consistency in the quality of service provided.
In conclusion, Elite Nails has strengths in terms of friendly staff, good customer service, attention to detail, a clean atmosphere, and satisfying results. However, they have weaknesses in terms of poor polish application, additional fees, burns from waxing, long wait times, and potential inconsistency in service.
Best TL Reviews
DON’T GO HERE!!!!!
The male nail tech does not know how to polish well. I asked him several times to redo the polish because of how sloppily and carelessly he polished them. I originally wanted French manicure polish but after several failed attempts, I chose a solid color hoping that he would be to apply a solid color neatly. Because he reapplied my polish so many times, the back of the nails still had remnants from previous attempts. I was also charged an additional $5 for “cutting and shaping” my nails but I think that he added the fee because he assumed that he wouldn’t be receiving a tip. Though the service was awful, I tipped him anyway.
After reading the reviews, I noticed a commonality among those who left bad reviews. I feel as though they purposely give bad service to certain people to ensure that we do not return. This is their way of targeting a specific demographic.
I have been a pedi client for 4 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Tina and John are par none the best in customer service. Everyone is super and the end result extremely satisfying. I highly recommend them. And to boot..Flying Biscuit is 1 door down.
Highly recommended!
My sister and I went on a Sunday. They squeezed us in and took good care of us. The nail tech made sure to get attend to any special requests.
Went yesterday for a facial wax. I paid $35+ tip for the lady to burn my face in 3 spots. My lower eyebrows, my lip and my cheek. Had hoped it wasn't going to be an actual burn but this morning I still have sensitivity and redness from the burns. 10/10 disappointing.
Tina did an impeccable job with my dip manicure. She removed my old dip gently, without damaging my nails, and ensured all edges of my new dip were clean - even cleared the underside of my nails of any residual dip! All for an incredible value. I will be a return customer again and again.
First it took two hours for a new set. That’s ended up with this result. After the time the second service I requested when I called and came in was denied because the nail tech took two hours which is not my issue. I will not be back and I don’t recommend this place if you want to have what you asked for.
Elite is certainly the right name for this establishment. It took a minute to find a good place to get my nails done. The whole team is professional, friendly, and they do excellent work. I have been serviced by many in the shop, and never experienced an issue. The atmosphere is peaceful, clean, and everyone that leaves or those whom I’ve encountered seem very satisfied with their service.
Love Elite Nails! The owners/managers are really charming people, and all the employees are skilled and thoughtful. Every time I come I have a great experience. I've been about 6 times so far. Last time, I brought my little girl as she wanted to have her nails painted too. Normally she is very shy, but they charmed her right away.
