I love one of their technicians. However, there are a few bad apples on the staff. The other day I was there and had my coat behind me on my chair. I noticed that the assistant was on her phone, so I helped myself to some water. When she saw me do that she came over to me and asked if she could hang my coat. "Take everything out of your pockets," she said. I did. She took the coat and that was the last I saw of it. After two hours, I went to the closet to retrieve my coat. It wasn't there. There was another coat that looked like my coat. I tried it on. It was obviously not my coat. The coat I tried on was stained and frayed. My coat was in perfect condition. The manager wasn't very helpful. She told me she called other customers but I don't believe she did. I came back the next day to see if my coat was found. It was not. The manager told me to call the police. She had no interest in helping me and everyone was instructed not to talk with me. I was so upset after being a loyal customer for more than 30 years. I will never go back to the Woodbury location nor any other Red Door location and I would highly recommend not frequenting this establishment. Their managers don't care about the customer. All they are interested in is getting payment! Now, I have to buy a new coat!
very disappointing! my wife went there for her birthday about two weeks ago. When she came back she literally broke in tears. We travel a lot and visit a lot of spas. This time she went alone. She had a massage scheduled on this day plus hair. When she was waiting for her massage, she noticed that the waiting area "relaxation room" was dirty. The couch had multiple stains on it and the carpet had some dirt as well. It looked like they never vacuumed it. Now imagine you are sitting in your robe in a very dirty area. It makes you question the price that you pay for it and future services as well. it was a common area for men and women where people instead of relaxing were talking about their problems, a complete opposite of relaxing. No spa mood at all. No aroma sticks or aroma candles were present. There was no this spa relaxing aroma feel whatsoever plus talking people! The masseuse took her 10 min later when the original massage was supposed to start. Everything felt very impersonal. She did her job but she couldn't care less. The hair was a complete disappointment too. When I saw my wife I wasn't sure what was going on with her hair. My wife submitted her feedback to the spa via email, however, no one seemed to care! If you are not picky about cleanliness or price then you would probably like it. I have never seen my wife more upset after the spa treatment. Something that should have been a birthday enjoyment turned out to be a very anxious event!
My daughter and I went there for a mother-daughter spa day. From the moment we entered in the front door until we left we felt pampered. We both received facials had a spa lunch I had our hair done. The spa is very welcoming and clean. The staff couldn’t be friendlier. We spent time in the relaxation room, in the changing room, in the salon and in the service rooms, the were all calming and clean. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful day!
Great spa services! The Escape facial is incredible! The esthetician was terrific and gave me awesome tips to use at home. Can't wait to back in a few months. I also enjoyed the Escape body treatment again incredible... you must go to relax!
I came here to get my nails done for my wedding weekend (manicure & pedicure). The experience was lovely, relaxing, and the treatment was superb. My nails looked perfect in my wedding photos, so thank you for doing such a nice job!
Great service and a very relaxing atmosphere. I come here for a massage with Colleen and she's wonderful. The last time I was there, she was even able to arrange for me to get a haircut with Aubrey right after my massage because I told her I couldn't get an appointment with my usual stylist at a different place. I left as a very happy customer, relaxed from the massage and feeling great about my hairstyle.
I used to go to Fifth Avenue location which was right across from the building where I worked. It was always a pleasure. When I moved to the area, my sister and I discovered Woodbury location and been there couple of times. First, we went for facial which was amazing, we were both so pleased afterwards. Then, we went for massages and it was incredible. Inside of the facility is very clean and relaxing. It became our tradition to celebrate our special days at Red Door Spa. I have never tried to salon yet, but as far as I have seen people left very happy. I would definitely go back and recommend them to my loved ones.
Have visited several times and the salon never disappoints. A warm welcome at the front desk and willigness to provide good service, and ensure the client's satisfaction, keep me coming back. Have not used spa services yet, but I plan to, based on experiences in the salon.
