Quick Facts About Nail Art of St. Petersburg
Nail Art of St. Petersburg is a nail salon that appears to have a loyal customer base, with many positive comments about the overall experience and specific services provided. However, there are also a few negative comments suggesting some weaknesses in the salon's customer service and technical skills.
One of the strengths highlighted by customers is the long-standing presence of the salon. Several customers mention that they have been going to Nail Art of St. Petersburg for years, indicating that the salon has established a loyal clientele. This suggests that they have built a reputation for providing satisfactory services.
Another strength mentioned is the quality of the lash services provided by Tiffany. Customers praise her as the best and the queen of lashes. This positive feedback suggests that Tiffany has excellent skills in lash extensions and has built a strong reputation in this particular service area.
Customers also mentioned feeling like a part of the family when they visit the salon. This sense of friendliness and familiarity can be a significant advantage for Nail Art of St. Petersburg. It indicates that the salon has created a comfortable and welcoming environment for customers, which can contribute to their overall satisfaction and loyalty.
The ability of the salon to accommodate groups and out-of-state visitors is also mentioned positively. This suggests that the salon is flexible and willing to cater to the needs of different customers, which can be a strength in attracting and retaining a diverse clientele.
However, there are also weaknesses mentioned by customers. One recurring complaint is related to poor customer service. One customer mentioned that their complaint about a messed-up toenail was met with unprofessionalism and lack of willingness to correct the issue. This suggests that there might be a lack of empathy and effective communication skills among some staff members, which can lead to a negative customer experience.
Another weakness mentioned is the lack of professionalism or skill of an older employee named Kim. A customer specifically mentions her as being passive-aggressive and providing a poor job. This suggests that there may be inconsistencies in the quality of services provided by different staff members, which can affect the overall reputation of the salon.
Technical issues were also mentioned, such as lifting dip powder nails after only four days. This indicates that there may be inconsistencies in the skill level of the nail technicians, as one customer specifically mentions that as a 20+ year nail tech, they know this is not the right application. This suggests that there may be a need for more training or quality control measures to ensure consistent results.
Another weakness mentioned is related to pricing. One customer felt overcharged by a particular nail technician and mentioned that the quality of their work was not up to par with others who charge less. This suggests that there may be discrepancies in pricing and transparency in the services provided by different staff members, which can lead to customer dissatisfaction.
In conclusion, Nail Art of St. Petersburg has strengths in terms of its loyal customer base, positive reputation for lash services, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. However, there are weaknesses in terms of poor customer service, inconsistencies in technical skills among staff members, and pricing discrepancies. Addressing these weaknesses can help the salon maintain and improve its reputation and customer satisfaction.

I like the nail shop I've been going there for years but I just found out my waxer is gone
TIFFANY IS THE BEST!!! TIFFANY is the QUEEN OF LASHES and she's such a Sweetheart. No one can touch my lashes but TIFF... ????
I have been coming here for years since they first opened , They are like Family ????????????????
I was very pleased with services. They accommodated for myself & sisters visiting from out of state who were all equally satisfied. Will return for sure.
I've been going here for over forever. I refuse to go anywhere else. Tiffany does amazing lashes, Kim does five star quality nails for some of the pickiest women. I have seen women wait over 3hours for Kim's skilled hands. I love this place
Poor customer service , no professionalism once customer let them know they’ve messed up and need to fix a toe nail. OLDER Kim is horrible and doesn’t know how to present an idea employee . She’s very passive aggressive. I was called evil and she thought I was going to pay $45 for these displayed below . I didn’t due to a horrible job and poor customer service .
After 4 days, my dip powder as lifted. She was very sloppy and I expected this but was hoping they would have lasted longer than this as they should for 4 weeks. Coming from a 20+ yr nail tech, I
know this is not right application if lifting so soon. Surely they will make right with a more skilled nail tech. Was hoping to have found the right nail salon, being new to the area.
However the lady that did my toes, awesome. Thanks April, I give you 10* but not the individual who did my finergernails.
Kims work is top notch!!! I love getting my nails done by her completely flawless.❤️❤️☺️ What makes this review 4 stars is the black girl working there... she did my nails and did a good job but they broke within a week and then she charged me $120 for what all the others charge $60 for and she didn’t even do a good job as them, she also kept adding gel coat to my nails that I didn’t ask for and added it up then charged me for it when I didn’t ask for that at all!!! I would not go to her because she’s overpriced and you can get what she does by the other nail techs better and not $30 for 10 diamonds ????❤️
