Quick Facts About Nail Expression & Spa

Nail Expression & Spa has a number of strengths based on the comments provided. Firstly, the staff is consistently praised for their friendliness and politeness. This positive attitude contributes to a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for customers. The fact that the staff greets regular customers by name shows that they prioritize building relationships with their clientele.
Another strength of Nail Expression & Spa is their cleanliness. The commenters mention that the salon has recently been remodeled and looks amazing. This suggests that the owners are invested in creating a clean and aesthetically pleasing environment for their customers. Additionally, the use of liners during pedicures demonstrates a commitment to hygiene and customer safety.
Nail Expression & Spa also has strong technical abilities and attention to detail. The owner, Jason, is consistently mentioned as the best technician at the salon. This indicates that he has a high level of skill and expertise in providing nail services. However, the other staff members are described as mediocre at best. This suggests that there may be some inconsistency in the quality of service provided by the salon.
Unfortunately, there are also some weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One customer was disappointed with the quality of service she received during a manicure. The technician used thinning liquid on an almost empty polish bottle and did not provide a satisfactory outcome. This demonstrates a lack of attention to detail and a failure to prioritize customer satisfaction. Additionally, the customer mentions a previous experience where her cuticles were made to bleed. This indicates a lack of proper training or attention to detail in the salon.
Another weakness mentioned in the comments is the lack of flexibility in nail design options. One customer requested a design for her regular polish pedicure but was told it was only possible with gel polish. This limits the options for customers who prefer regular polish and may lead to disappointment and dissatisfaction.
There are also comments that reflect poor customer service. One customer complained about the lack of communication regarding wait times. After waiting for two hours with no updates, she decided not to return. This lack of communication and consideration for customer's time demonstrates a failure in customer service.
Finally, some commenters mention that the salon is a bit pricey. While they acknowledge the quality of the services provided, the higher price point may deter some potential customers who are looking for more affordable options.
In conclusion, Nail Expression & Spa has strengths in terms of friendly staff, cleanliness, and technical abilities. However, there are weaknesses in terms of inconsistent service quality, limited nail design options, some lapses in attention to detail, and poor customer service in terms of communication and wait times. Addressing these weaknesses could further enhance the reputation and success of the salon.

Best TL Reviews

The staff was amazing! Super friendly! Very clean! They have just remodeled and it looks amazing! One of the reviews said they didn’t use a liner with pedicures but every pedicure I saw including my own had a liner. (I included a photo).
I used to really like this salon and was a consistent customer when I was in high school and lived in town. Now, the only person who does a good job is the owner, Jason. He’s very polite too. However the staff that works underneath him now are mediocre at best. I used to enjoy getting a my nails done here with my mom when I visited home but I will not be returning any longer. I came in for a manicure this past weekend and the lady doing my nails did a terrible job. The color I wanted was practically empty and instead of telling me to pick a new color or opening a new bottle, she kept pouring some sort of clear liquid in it to “make” more polish by thinning it out. It was obvious how terrible it looked on with you clearly seeing air bubbles on the nails and I asked her to fix it and she literally just took off the polish and put it back on with the same technique. This is the worst manicure I’ve gone home with. I could’ve done a better job myself. This was such a waste of my money plus the tip I paid especially because they go ahead and charge you before they start the manicure so you don’t mess up your nails. And the previous time I was here, a different girl made my cuticles bleed on half of my fingers. I’m done giving this salon a chance. It’s no longer as high quality as it was when I lived in town. The only person I can truly recommend here is Jason, the owner.
I have attached photographs of my most recent manicure in different lighting below so y’all can make your own decision based off what you see.
The staff is amazing here! I go every 2 weeks to see Jason for an acrylic fill-in with gel polish. He great all the regulars by name. It amazes me that he remembers everyone. I have gotten the Deluxe pedicure several times from different people there. They have all did a great job! The place is super clean! Good vibes.
I just cannot speak highly enough about this place. The staff is awesome and friendly, my nails ALWAYS look great.
I went to a pretty well known place in town that I won’t name, and they completely botched my nails, didn’t even do what I asked, and we’re very rude and over priced. I went to Nail Expressions in hopes they could save me from the disaster caused by the other salon. They were so nice and squeezed me in despite it being busy and hectic, my nail tech Mike was so fun to talk to, he gave me the blue nails pictured below. I then brought my mom back for her birthday a month later and we both got new sets, and then the nude flowers are my most recent set. I’m in love with this place! Call ahead, ask for Mike, you won’t be disappointed!
I got a regular pedicure at this salon and asked for regular polish. When it was time to paint the nails I asked for a design and they informed me they couldn’t do a design on regular polish. I’ve been getting pedicures for 15 years at other salons and have never been told this. They seemed to be up selling the gel polish for all pedicure services and the nail tech said they can only do designs on the gel. I was disappointed and left with one of the most basic pedicure service I’ve had in a long time.
I got there at 1pm and chose a color for a full set. Around 3pm I was still waiting, and no one had come to check on me or update me with a time frame on how long I would be waiting. I will not be going back. That did not show good customer service, and if I’m going to spend my money, I expect nothing less
A little pricey, but they did an amazing job! It doesn't have a strong smell like most nail salons and employees are friendly. Definitely a great nail salon!
Very large and spacious area with modern massage chairs. My Technician Ashley was very detailed and had great conversation. I will return and hopefully Ashley is there when I arrive.
