Quick Facts About Nail First

Nail First Place is a nail salon that has mixed reviews from customers. Some customers have had positive experiences, while others have had negative experiences. In analyzing the comments provided, we can identify some strengths and weaknesses of the salon.
One of the strengths mentioned in the comments is the friendly and accommodating service provided by the staff. One customer mentioned that the ladies at the salon were friendly and made her feel comfortable. Another customer appreciated the efforts of the staff in accommodating her and her baby during her visits. Additionally, one customer praised the professionalism and skills of a specific nail technician, Eva, who provided a high-quality pedicure.
Another strength mentioned is the cleanliness of the salon. One customer described it as exceptionally clean, which is an important aspect for a nail salon to maintain. Cleanliness is essential to prevent the spread of infections and maintain a hygienic environment for customers.
Reasonable pricing is also mentioned as a strength. One customer mentioned that the prices were reasonable for the services she received. This can attract customers who are looking for quality service at an affordable price.
However, there are several weaknesses mentioned in the comments as well. One recurring issue is the inconsistency in the quality of service received. One customer had a negative experience where the nail technician rushed through the services and provided a subpar pedicure and manicure. Another customer mentioned that she received a poor acrylic nail removal, resulting in thin and brittle nails. In another comment, a customer expressed disappointment with the thickness and uneven application of her nails, as well as the lack of attention to cuticle care.
Another weakness mentioned is the lack of professionalism exhibited by some of the staff members. One customer mentioned an incident where an employee tried to pass off as her scheduled nail technician and was later found to be lying. Additionally, comments were made about the staff speaking in another language, which some customers felt excluded from or uncomfortable about.
The issue of cleanliness is also highlighted as a weakness. One customer mentioned that the salon reuses tools without sanitization, which is a major health concern and can contribute to the spread of infections. Another customer mentioned the oily residue left on their feet after a pedicure, indicating a lack of attention to cleanliness and proper product application.
A weakness that is also mentioned is the limited payment options. It was mentioned that the salon only accepts cash or check, which can be inconvenient for customers who prefer to pay with other methods such as credit or debit cards.
In conclusion, Nail First Place has strengths such as friendly and accommodating staff, cleanliness, and reasonable prices. However, they have weaknesses in terms of inconsistencies in service quality, lack of professionalism, cleanliness issues, and limited payment options. It is important for the salon to address these weaknesses and improve upon them in order to provide a consistent and satisfactory experience for their customers.

I had a wonderful experience here tonight. The ladies were so friendly and got me in on this crazy busy week before spring break. My pedicure was super relaxing and I’ll be coming back again!
3 weeks ago. I made an appointment with Christine, when I got there, she gave me someone else, who tried to tell me she was Christine, she later admitted she wasn't Christine. I got the worst pedicure and manicure I have ever had in my life. She didn't scrub the bottom of my feet, no massage, just threw the hot towel over my legs and lifted it off right away. She did no massage with the manicure. She was hurrying because she had a man waiting for her in the pedicure chair. I paid 75 dollars, and got a 15 dollar job.
She made comments, like, how old was I, do I still drive. Her and Christine kept talking in whatever language they use.
The place is dirty. Reuses their tools, no sanitizing. My last trip here.
If you make an appointment, you should get that person.
I had to choose a start to get this posted, but I would give them a 0 star if I could.
Went to Nails First in Fenton on accident, I ment to call Fenton nails to schedule an appointment there, (where I usually go) but settled for this place..BIG MISTAKE the pink nails pictured are from Fenton nails,(my previous nails) but they were out grown and I needed a new full set. The Guy working at Nails first sat me down and used pliers and a fake nail to rip my existing acrylic nail off of the bed of my nail, which hurt really bad. He man-handled my hands and showed no professionalism and handling while doing the process. He asked me if it hurt and I told him “kind of “ yet proceeded to do the same thing. Not to mention that they charge you 10$ for the “nail removal”. If I wanted to rip off my existing acrylics I would’ve done it myself for free. They also only take cash or check which wasn’t helpful.
I've been going here for a while now. It's hard to find a nail salon that I can stick with and does my nails to my likings. I really love how accommodating everyone is at this salon! I had to take my baby with me on one of the occasions and I swear all the workers there did everything they could to ensure my baby wasn't being a fussy little one as she can be a lot of the times. Overall, I adore their family owned business and how well they do my nails. I always get shellac manicure and pedicure , sometimes I get my eyebrows waxed too. I recommend either Michelle or Sue
Eva is a perfectionist. Best pedicure I have ever had. Very reasonably priced. It is an exceptionally clean nail salon.
I'll add more later, but in a nutshell, I had acrylics put on my nails, thankfully by the woman who I cannot remember her name, but she spoke very good English, which is good for me because I'm hard of hearing. Anyhow, the nails put on were okay, I was happy when I left, but my issues began when I stopped in to get the nails either removed or removed and regular mail polish put on. This time was a different women; an older woman. Aside from soaking my nails for a long time, she drilled the acryllics off (mostly anyway), but she drilled so much that now my nails are incredibly thin and breakable and have large "divets" in each nail! They look horrible!!! I will never go back again. My nails are so wrecked. I'll add pictures later.
***Update*** it took my nails over a year to get back to normal because of this incident and they're even still very thin and brittle :( NEVER again.
I was extremely disappointed. My nails ended up being extremely thick, alot of areas uneven I didnt notice until I left ???? They got nailpolish on my cuticles and left it. My cuticles were not pushed down so it looks like I will need a fill sooner than I should. My thumb nail on the right is curved, I mean it was bad..the ONLY part that was decent was my ombre design but even that couldn't cover all the flaws. Was recommended to go from a friend and even she is appalled, they lost both of our business.
My mom and I decided to do a day out. My pedicure turned out great my moms however a mess they left her feet extremely oily after we had to go back for the 2nd time. To have a them do the pedicure. They had to fix our shallac on our nails that came off in a day of having it. And it is supposed to last 4 go 6 weeks. Not to mention did i not see them mention did they not once santize their tools in-between clients.
We will not be returning.
