Quick Facts About Nails Today
Nails Today has a number of strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
One strength of Nails Today is that they have talented nail technicians who are capable of creating intricate nail designs. According to one comment, the workers at the salon have "TRUE talent," which is why the salon has managed to stay in business for a long time. This suggests that the salon has skilled employees who are able to produce high-quality nail art.
Convenience is another strength of Nails Today. One commenter mentioned that they have been coming to the salon for years because of its convenient location. The fact that this commenter has been a loyal customer for years indicates that Nails Today is easily accessible and convenient for customers.
However, the salon seems to have several weaknesses. One major weakness is the lack of consistency in the quality of the services provided. Multiple commenters mentioned that the salon's work is hit and miss. Some technicians are capable of doing good work, but others need more training. This inconsistency can be frustrating for customers who are seeking a reliable and consistent experience.
Another weakness of Nails Today is the cleanliness of the salon. There were multiple comments about the salon being dirty and unorganized. One commenter mentioned that the floors were not swept, and another mentioned that the stations were not kept clean. A clean and sanitary environment is important for a nail salon, as it ensures the safety and well-being of the customers.
The customer service at Nails Today is also lacking according to the comments. Multiple commenters mentioned instances of rude and unfriendly behavior from the staff. In one instance, a customer was treated with an attitude and faced a long wait time for service. Another commenter mentioned that the staff did not take responsibility for their mistakes and expected the customer to pay for corrective services. Poor customer service can significantly impact a customer's experience and may deter them from returning to the salon.
Additionally, the salon seems to have issues with the technical skills of some of its employees. Commenters mentioned instances where nails were uneven in thickness, different lengths, and not evenly covered with polish. One commenter even experienced physical pain and discoloration after getting a full set of nails done. These incidents suggest that some of the technicians lack the necessary skills and training to provide a consistently satisfactory experience for customers.
In conclusion, while Nails Today has strengths in terms of talented nail technicians and convenience, there are significant weaknesses in areas such as consistency, cleanliness, customer service, and technical skills. These weaknesses can greatly impact the customer experience and may cause customers to seek services elsewhere. It is important for Nails Today to address these issues in order to improve customer satisfaction and retention.

⚠️This is a 10/10 don’t recommend! Place was dirty, the workers are aggressive and they don’t listen. we showed the lady the picture with the clear nails and she repeatedly told us that it was pink. Second the lady in the tan also had a complaint and the tech that did her nails waited for her to leave to complain about how she didn’t know what she was talking about. The child was licking the mirror and smearing it in the mirror. I had a hang nail and they went right over it. The wait is ridiculously long for no reason . When asked to fix one nail shape they proceeded to only shape one side so it’s clear that my nail is doing th gangsta lean . Proceed with caution ⚠️
I’m not going to say all the techs in this salon are bad, but the gentleman I got did a terrible job. Nails are not even in thickness, they are all different lengths, they didn’t cover the whole nail evenly, and they didn’t bother to push the cuticle back so they look grown out after less than 24 hours. The paint is uneven as well. In addition, the salon is dirty. Floors not swept, stations are not kept clean, etc. Would not recommend anyone take a chance on this salon.
Superb!! I will drive 45 minutes just to get my nails done by them. They are not just a nail salon, they make designs come to life. Everyone in there has TRUE talent which is why they've been around as long as they have.
I’ve been coming to this place for years, simply because of the convenience of the location, because in all honesty getting good work done is a hit and miss. There’s only a couple of techs that can do good work but the rest needs to go back to cosmetology school. I’ve had my lashes done numerous of times and each time they would start falling off little by little a couple of days of having them done. Then I would have to pay to get them corrected instead of them taking responsibility for their bad work. My nails would pop off … a whole acrylic nail popping off! How?!
The first few times I went things were ok. I didn’t start having issues with this place until one day the owner’s son or family member did a horrible job on my nails so I requested a new set. He got extremely mad and slammed his station draw then prepared a bowl of acetone to soak my nails off and walked outside extremely frustrated. After that incident EVERYTIME since then I have been back I’m treated with an attitude or it takes them forever to service me. No one but the owner would agree to service me. The last straw was when I took my daughter to get her nails done. The owner of course was the only one that would service her and she had a attitude the whole time. My daughter nails were done very quickly and unprofessional.
The owner does really good nails, so I was shocked how she did my daughter nails. This place do not respect their clients. No matter how long you’ve been going to them or how much money you spend with them. I will never spend another dime with them.
They’re not consistent with their work. I have had my eyebrows done 4 times, only twice I loved them. I have had great full sets and terrible ones and same for the pedicures. It’s not worth the flip flop. I’ll have to take that trip to my old place unfortunately. I hate my full set right and eyebrows right now. There is so much hair left under my eyebrows and it was just suppose to be a clean up and idek what she did. They look horrible.
The lady did a descent job on my pedicure/manicure. It’s a very unfriendly environment. The lady that works at the first station when entering was very rude when I questioned my bill. She told me after she rung me up that it was a 3% fee for using my bank card. I told her it would have been nice to know this before taking my card.. She then replied that she didn’t care!???? . The music that played was Drake which was turned up loud while a lot of profanity was being used in the songs. The service definitely wasn’t worth the rudeness/ unfriendliness.
The service is terrible. Not only that, the salon itself is dirty, unorganized, and dusty. I received a pedicure, which the massage was pretty decent. When it came to the gel color application, my toes looked like I did them myself. Waist of time and money. Find somewhere else to spend your money.
I was at this nail salon about four weeks ago for a full set. Prior to that I have visited regularly for at least 3 years since moving to the area.
Anyway, some guy (right side, second to the last chair) I didn’t catch his name did my nails. I should have known something did not feel right after the acrylic applied on the nails dried because I was in intense pain. I have had my nails done for at least 20years of my life but this felt different. At first I shrugged it off as perhaps I needed to get used to the new nails (I was getting regular gel manicures for the last 6 months prior to this full set) so I thought maybe the discomfort was from not having a full set for a long time. I was wrong!!!!! The pain grew worse. Then I noticed the tip of my fingers went numb accompanied with brown discoloration. I freaked out!!! This was day 6 at this point. I presented to the nail salon and requested an immediate soak off and expressed my concern about a possible infection. The two guys who seat side by side on the right could care less. The lady who owns the salon was not available so I had to deal with these two incompetent individuals who couldn’t even grasp the concept of what I was trying to explain.
The nails came off and boy!!! Was I right. My fingertips were numb, my left index finger was the worst. Swollen, red, raw, painful, with huge brown discoloration on all my fingertips. I was livid!!!!!! You would expect some compassion from these two guys, who were working at the store that night. I got none!!!! The first guy on the right said “maybe you go see Doctor”….. yeah! No kidding??? Then they started speaking in their language while I was expressing my displeasure at the service I had received and how now I have to see a Dermatologist for what could be an infection (which I have never had till I had my nails done there) or worse a burn. Long story short I stormed out of that raggedy salon, and to think they actually expected payment for the soak off after all that!!!!!
Turns out I have a burn, severe enough that I have not regained full sensation to my fingertips. Definitely improper technique was involved when that nail technician applied either the glue/acrylic ….who knows?? . My finger tips are hard, crusty, peeling and feels like leather. Worst part is I never even got an apology for the mistake they made. I am yet to see the extent of how bad this gets but I am considering a lawsuit.
Stay easy from this nail salon. It’s trash!!! The good nail techs are gone and the salon has gone downhill. All they care about is money, the technicians are incompetent and lack compassion. Go somewhere else!
