Quick Facts About Paula's Nails

Paula's Nails place has received a mix of positive and negative comments, indicating both strengths and weaknesses in their services.
One strength that stands out is the attention to detail and comfort provided by some of the technicians, particularly Taylor. This commenter praised Taylor for her gentleness and care in dealing with their difficult toenails and appreciated the labor and effort that went into fixing and cleaning their nails. This suggests that the salon has skilled technicians who can handle complex nail issues and prioritize the well-being of their clients.
Another strength is the politeness, courtesy, and kindness displayed by the staff. Multiple commenters commended the staff for their good manners and friendly demeanor. This indicates that the salon has a positive and welcoming atmosphere, which can make clients feel comfortable and valued.
Additionally, some commenters highlighted the ability of the salon to accommodate walk-in clients without appointments. This flexibility and willingness to service customers without prior arrangements can be seen as an advantage, as it allows for more spontaneous visits and caters to those who may have last-minute nail care needs.
On the other hand, there are several notable weaknesses that have been pointed out by dissatisfied customers. One recurring issue is the lack of cleanliness and adherence to hygiene protocols. In one instance, a commenter mentioned that a technician refused to sanitize the area or change the towel from the previous client, disregarding their concerns about Covid-19 safety measures. This indicates a lack of commitment to maintaining clean and sanitized conditions, which is essential for a nail salon.
Another weakness is the poor customer service experienced by some clients. One commenter described being treated rudely and dismissively when trying to make a phone appointment. The lack of professionalism and disregard for the customer's time and convenience exhibited in this interaction raises concerns about the overall customer service provided by the salon.
Furthermore, there was one comment about a technician allegedly stealing a customer's polish. This incident reflects poorly on the salon's integrity and trustworthiness, as it suggests a possible issue with employee honesty and ethics.
In summary, while Paula's Nails place has strengths such as skilled technicians, a friendly staff, and the ability to accommodate walk-in clients, there are significant weaknesses regarding cleanliness, customer service, and potential theft. These weaknesses need to be addressed and improved to ensure a satisfactory experience for all customers.

Best TL Reviews

First time, service was good. Second time, horrible. I had no appointment and I stood 1 1/2 hour waiting for someone to take me. Finally, lady in the front to the left became available. Previous customer left and lady only shook towels on floor to drop trash. I asked her to sanitize and provide me a clean area with a new towel to place my hands. She right away got defensive and said no. She insisted Covid-19 was gone and that it was not necessary to clean or change towel from previous client. The tools were not cleaned or sanitized at all. She told me she was not going to give service to me because I was too picky and rude. I don’t understand how I was rude. This is disgusting and they are not following safety, good hygiene protocols. I am very disappointed about this place and I will be reporting it to Health Department.
First time client here. Taylor takes attention to detail and comfort of her clients. Both my bestie and I have gnarly big toenails and advised us to get routine pedis since our in-growns need to be nipped all the way down to the nail root since we didn't know any better. It definitely hurt a bit but it must certainly wasn't because of her - that in-grown desperately needed to be removed, and Taylor was super gentle with handling our messed up toes with utmost care. Would high key pay more for the amount of labor and work that went into fixing and cleaning up our nails. Would 10/10 recommend!
I am sad to say I have gone to another shop that answers their phones. I went to Paula twice and she is very good and pleasant. I called on 10/19 and the rude lady who answered the phone said "Who?" I was asking for Paula. Then she said "Walla??" NO I said Paula. "Call back later she said and almost hung up on me" I will miss Paula but I am very busy and truly do not have time to keep calling like this. The remainder of 10/19 I did call back later and their phones never answered!! NO voicemail or answering machine to leave a message. Bye Paula it was a pleasure meeting you. Toni Watson
