Place on Pine is always a fabulous choice for breakfast or lunch. The homemade food is incredible! I've never had a better breakfast burrito in my life and the green sauce was delicious! The cinnamon rolls are out of this world and the owners are the hardest working people I know. Do yourself a favor and eat here!
We enjoyed breakfast at Place on Pine during a recent business trip to Kemmerer, WY (musicians playing at a local bar). It was one of two places open on a Sunday morning, and we were familiar with the restaurant from its previous incarnation as Cafe Ritz. We were greeted cheerfully by a gentleman I presumed to be the owner. We found the dining area spotlessly clean, and the new decor a bit more spartan than before, but still attractive and welcoming. I chose eggs Benedict, while hubby got a Philly cheesesteak omelet. Portions were generous and prices were very reasonable -- the total bill, including coffee, came to about $22 for the two of us.
The only reason Place on Pine doesn't receive 5 stars from me at this time was because service was a little slow. I imagine it's because everyone's working with a skeleton crew due to the COVID-19 situation. Should the opportunity arise to dine here again, we'd gladly take it.
When looking for places to stop and get breakfast this place popped up. There really wasn’t much else in the area but I’m so glad this place came on our radar. The town itself is really quiet but this place is a hidden gem. The food was delicious! The staff was super welcoming. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a filling and delicious breakfast while passing through Kemmerer! Loved the pancakes and the breakfast skillet with chorizo!
Very nice cafe for breakfast. Breakfast tacos with homemade verde sauce. And side of refried beans which were the best. Or just bacon and eggs if you want traditional.
We visited Place on Pine earlier today on our way from Flathead Lake to Denver Colorado. It was a quick diversion off the freeway on the business Loop to Kemmerer, original home of JCPenney. This truly was the best breakfast we’ve had in a long while… Great food, coffee was wonderful and the staff was friendly and efficient. The restaurant was packed; story in itself. To top it off, they play really cool music… hits of the 50s, 60s, 70s ????We plan to stop there every time we’re traveling through from here on out!
It was downright DELICIOUS! I ordered the breakfast platter. Sausage, bacon, eggs, and two big fluffy pancakes ???? were in store for me. I also may have grabbed some of my buddy's ham in bone, and tried a bite of another buddy's breakfast skillet with chorizo. ALL delicious!
If you LIKE HAIR IN YOUR FOOD, then go to this restaurant. I tried it in person and it was the WORST meal that I have had in years with the chicken so dried up & the fries were the remnant fries left over. My Brother said let's try it again with take out. The French Dip sandwich had HAIR IN IT and I almost vomited...and the fries were the bottom of the fry basket tiny pieces once again as if they are using them to be fillers for the 3 normal fries on top that where the only good ones. It was HORRIBLE...I will NEVER patronized this place on Pine again, EVER.
Love this place for breakfast! Haven't had an opportunity to enjoy lunch or dinner yet, but looking forward to it! ❤
