Platinum Fades Berwyn Route 66 has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers. In order to provide a comprehensive analysis, we will assess the strengths and weaknesses of the business based on these comments.
Starting with the strengths, many customers praise the barbers at Platinum Fades for their skills and professionalism. One customer mentions that they were "impressed" with the service and that the barbers were "very nice and friendly". This indicates that the staff at Platinum Fades are welcoming and create a positive environment for their customers.
Additionally, several customers highlight the quality of the haircuts they received. One customer specifically mentions that their son's haircut still looked good even after two weeks. This suggests that the barbers at Platinum Fades have a good understanding of different haircut styles and are capable of delivering satisfactory results.
The shop's decor and environment are also mentioned as strengths. One customer states that the shop is "well decorated" and another mentions that the environment was friendly with lots of jokes going around. These comments indicate that Platinum Fades has created a visually appealing and enjoyable atmosphere for their customers.
Furthermore, some customers appreciate the fact that the prices at Platinum Fades are reasonable. One customer mentions that they have four sons, so the cost adds up, but they still find it worth it for special occasions. This suggests that Platinum Fades offers competitive pricing, making it an attractive option for customers looking for quality haircuts at an affordable price.
Moving on to the weaknesses, several comments mention unprofessional behavior from the barbers. One customer claims that a barber was "unwelcoming, rude, and unprofessional" and another mentions that the employees were shooting water and nerf guns at each other while cutting hair. These incidents indicate a lack of professionalism and may make some customers uncomfortable or dissatisfied with their experience.
Another weakness raised by a customer is the cleanliness of the shop. They mention that hair was not being swept up after each client and that the barber even used a clipper guard that had been dropped on the floor without cleaning it first. This suggests a lack of attention to hygiene standards, which can be a major concern for customers.
Furthermore, there are multiple complaints about poor communication and scheduling issues. One customer recounts a situation where they called ahead to confirm a walk-in appointment but were turned away upon arrival. Another customer details multiple instances where their son experienced scheduling problems and miscommunication. These instances indicate a lack of organization and professionalism within the business.
In conclusion, Platinum Fades Berwyn Route 66 has strengths in terms of skilled barbers, quality haircuts, a well-decorated shop, and reasonable pricing. However, weaknesses include unprofessional behavior, lack of cleanliness, and poor communication and scheduling practices. It is important for the business to address these weaknesses in order to improve customer satisfaction and maintain a positive reputation.

SimplY DA BEST of DA BEST 2nd to NONE! Highly recommend this place and all the guys are very nice and friendly. I brought my sons in today and I was more then impressed. I really liked the jams they were plying too, very nice. Thank you so much gentlemen you all are amazing!
This guy was unwelcoming, rude and unprofessional. Loud music and when I got a phone call not even 5 minutes in my call the barber tells me to shut my ringer off... What a joke! But the barber who did my son's hair was super nice and made sure he did a good job on it but it was horrible to hear the other barber was so rude.
Decided to try this place and regret it so much. Eddie cut my hair and really beat me up with the clippers. Had a headache when done. Also cut maybe three pieces from top. Very uneven. He then pulled out a straight razor to line everything up but didn't use any foam or anything. Just dry. Walkrd out with cuts and terrible razor burn all over. Aside from the haircut itself, it was very dirty. They weren't sweeping up hair after each client. And Eddie dropped his clipper guard on the floor and just picked it up, put it on, and continued my haircut without cleaning it off first. The staff are very unprofessional. They were shooting water guns and nerf guns at each other while cutting hair. Over all I left feeling dirty, beat up, and like my skin was on fire from the razor burn. Never going back.
$30 a cut for kids………..but you get what you pay for, Jorge cut my sons hair and he did a really good Job, (skin 2 fade) my son’s hair still looks good 2 weeks later… hurts my pocket cuz i have 4 sons but will probably come for sure for special occasions cuts!
The shop is well decorated and the barbers are friendly. Victor did a great job with my hair and took his time. I did not feel rushed at all. The environment was very friendly and lots of jokes going around. Price was reasonable. Availability was quick.
I called ahead of time. Asked if i could walk in with my nephew between 630 and 7. A gentleman told me yes that would be fine. He had pictures for basketball in the morning and had school and practice ,which is why we were coming in so late. When we got there at 647,He agreed he probably did speak to me but they aren't doing anymore haircutswalkins after 6pm. Completely unprofessional!! Never going there for anything!
First time I go to platinum fades for a haircut. Usually I get my haircut somewhere else, but my go to spot was still closed. I scheduled an appointment and they were able to see me within 30 min of me calling. Noe did an awesome job cutting my hair. This place is close to my house, so this will be my new spot.
Son called on a Friday to set an appointment for Saturday they told him he didn't need an appointment and they open at 10am. He gets there at 10 am on Saturday and they tell him there were 3 people ahead of him so my son sits and waits. He waited almost 2 hours and he asks the guy how many people ahead of him and they said they think 2.... they completely went past him and took 2 other people we had a prior engagement so he had to leave. They told him they opened at 10 on Sunday so we drop him of at 9:55am for the guy inside to tell him the barbers won't be I in until after 12 to come back. He comes at 11:55 for them to say they aren't taking walk ins because they are short on staff. This is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DEFINITELY NOT A WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS. If they would have said it from the get go that they were going to be busy and not take any walk ins from the start instead of making him come back and forth it wouldn't be an issue but they obviously have BAD communication skills as this is not the first time we've had issues at this establishment because of lack of knowledge on what the barbers are doing for the day.
