Came here for the first time today and was amazed at the service and interior. I heard that they recently renovated and The results are amazing! Once I walked in, I was greeted immediately and they showed me a booklet showing their services. I picked the classic pedicure with gel polish. The lady did such a great job and took care of my feet. They are so pretty and soft now. I definitely recommend Pretty Plum Nail Spa.
This place was recommended to me, and I was willing to drive an hour away because they took appointments, and the businesses near me take FOREVER and will not set up appointments.
I informed them when setting up the appointment that it would be a trial run for my wedding, and it was going to take place in Jamaica, so I needed what was MOST DURABLE. They kept recommending gel nails, and therefore, I trusted them, and that is what I decided to do. This happened the very next day!
This was my first time trying out the place. Knowing it was going to be for a wedding and I was the bride, why wouldn't they set me up with one of their best techs so that I have great-looking nails and they would know exactly what I needed? I paid $60 and left $10 for a tip for them to not even last an entire 24 hours. (Not worth $70) I requested a refund, which was denied, but I am not driving an hour away again for this.
I am glad I decided to do a trial run because if this had happened the week of my wedding/honeymoon trip, I would've had a cracked nails in my wedding pictures.
I have found my forever nail salon. They truly bring any designs to life. I got a dip with nail tips and design and the outcome has me feeling like a brand new person ( as new nails should ) The atmosphere is sophisticated and relaxing. The employees genuinely care about you and have conversation with you. The regular clientele are friendly and patient. In my experience, they have provided quality service in a reasonable time regardless of what service I get. I promise you won’t regret coming here. ????
My first experience at Pretty Plum was AWESOME! from the customer service to my pedicure to my manicure to the price was excellent. I was encouraged to try Dip for the 1st time and I am hooked. This is most definitely my new nail salon! Check them out! You won’t be disappointed ????
Im Not a confrontational person so when the male told me, that my gel pedicure and gel full set would total 130.00 I paid him.. upon looking at my receipt when I got home, I see they charged me for things they did not ask me if I wanted, no chip (what we call it in Chicago) does not need soak off.. I attached the receipt.. and i tipped because that’s my character.. totaled 145.00 with my tip.
130.00 did not include eyebrows either, I’m gathered from numerous people that they do eyebrows but Kim and the “receptionist” said they don’t.
Will not be returning, because they are Money hungry..,they charged me for gel nails and gave me acrylic..
I can’t afford to break a nail, they might charge me 85.00 to get it fixed..
My elderly mom and I came today for a girls day to get a manicure and pedicure. They were absolutely amazing with her. It’s hard for her to move around and they were very accommodating! Ours nails look amazing and the staff is very attentive and sweet! We will be back!
Front desk receptionists were very nice and greeted me upon arrival. Lynn was my nail tech, and she did an awesome job! She was very meticulous about the nail sizing, length, and shape. She also checked in frequently throughout to make sure I was satisfied with my nails. I have been to two other shops in the area, and they were subpar. I have found my spot and will definitely be back!
Had been a faithful and consistent customer up until weds i had always paid around $120-$125 for nails and pedicure well this particular day i was charged $100 for nails only. I received color acrylic for which i didn’t ask for and i was charged for shape length and designs 3 days later and my nails look like this . I won’t be returning
