Quick Facts About PS Nails
PS Nails is a well-established nail salon that has been serving customers for over 23 years. Many customers have had positive experiences and praise the staff, particularly Vicky and the rest of the team. They are described as amazing and excellent at their job. This suggests that the staff at PS Nails are experienced and skilled in their craft, which is a strength of the salon.
One customer mentions that PS Nails always does an excellent job, indicating a consistent level of quality in their services. This demonstrates that the salon has a reputation for delivering satisfying results, which is important in attracting and retaining customers.
Another positive comment highlights how the salon successfully recreated a design that a customer wanted, indicating that they are capable of fulfilling specific customer requests. This showcases their versatility and ability to meet individual preferences.
However, not all comments are positive. One customer expresses disappointment with the outcome of their manicure, stating that they felt rushed and unhappy with the results. This suggests a potential weakness in the salon's ability to prioritize attention to detail and customer satisfaction. They also mention that even after some fixes were made, the nails still looked horrible. This indicates a potential inconsistency in the quality of their work.
Another negative comment comes from a long-time customer who had a bad experience during their recent visit. The technician they usually see, Tracy, was not available, and they were handled by someone else who did not meet their expectations. The customer felt that their nails were too chunky and did not match the shape they wanted. Additionally, the technician was unresponsive and ignored their questions, resulting in a disappointing experience. This highlights a potential weakness in the salon's consistency and communication, as well as the risk of dissatisfaction when customers are assigned to different technicians.
A further negative experience is mentioned by a customer who felt overcharged for their service. They requested short nails with black tips but were charged $50, which they considered excessive. Additionally, the customer was unhappy with the results, describing their nails as "fatt" and not meeting their expectations. When they asked for a refund, the technician refused and informed them that they would have to pay for nail removal if they wanted them changed. This highlights a potential weakness in the salon's communication and customer service, as well as their pricing transparency.
Another negative comment comes from a customer whose daughter received a subpar manicure. They mentioned that the technician did a poor job, with thin and missing polish, an inconsistent nail shape, and even cutting the skin around the nails, causing bleeding. This indicates a potential weakness in the salon's quality control and technician training.
In conclusion, PS Nails has strengths in its long-standing reputation, experienced staff, and ability to fulfill customer preferences. However, weaknesses include potential inconsistencies in service quality, attention to detail, communication, and pricing transparency. Addressing these weaknesses could help the salon maintain a stellar reputation and ensure customer satisfaction.

I’ve been going to PS Nails for 23 years. Yesterday, while they were still working on my nails, My 17 year old moved out of her chair and went and got into the little one. I had an emotional moment for sure. So I looked for an older picture. Here it is! ???????????? PS Nails started painting all of my girls nails when they were just babies. I could only find one back as far as this, but I’m sure somewhere on some Kodak printed paper, I have them all as toddlers getting dolled up. Vicky and the entire staff are amazing!! So thankful for them all.
I feel like the nail tech rushed through my manicure. I am not at all happy with the outcome. After the initial job, complaining and getting a few fixed, and paying - I still feel they look horrible. Will not be going back.
It was my first time coming here. I came for a pedicure I was not sure if they were able to do a design I wanted but I showed them the picture and they did an amazing job I love how my toes look.
PS Nails is the only nail salon that I want to go to. One of my friends said she wouldn’t go anywhere else and I thought she was exaggerating. I was wrong…all nail salons are not equal. PS Nails ALWAYS does an excellent job!!!!
I’ve been going to PS nails ever since i was a little girl. Today when i came in for a fill in i was seated at seat number 10. Tracy always does my nails and there always perfect and the way i want them. Well not today, this lady told me i needed a brand new set when i paid for a new set last time i was there. She didn’t even ask for permission if she could take my nails off. When she proceeded to take them off, she put WAYY too much acrylic on my nails. They were too chunky and they still are. I asked for a coffin shaped nail but didn’t get it. She did her own shape and how she wanted it. When i asked a question she just ignored me, even when i asked the question multiple times. The only good thing about this visit was her painting my nails. I’m very disappointed and i’ll will be making appointments with Tracy for now on.
I asked for short nails and black tips so that I could my nails could be budget friendly and let me just say they charged me $50!! and she made my nails fatt! when i asked for a refund after i payed because i did not want to be a karen she told me if i don’t like it then i also have to pay to get them removed!! never going backkkk!
I wasn’t entirely sure what I needed because I just had a baby and needed something that would not be too sharp or long so as not to hurt him. She helped me pick out a nail shape that’d work, filed the edges to be smooth(more so than I’ve ever had before) and even helped me pick a color set that turned out amazing!!! The only disappointing part is that I forgot to ask for the woman’s name who did them!
My daughter who is a student at Dalton State came home today with these horrible nails. The technician that did these needs to be fired. This is unacceptable for $35. She said she spoke up and tried to tell the technician that she was not pleased with her work and she got an attitude and began to yell at her. The polish is thin and missing from some areas on the nails. It’s not smooth. It’s just garbage and the nail shape is not consistent. Her cuticles look horrible and the technician cut the skin around her nails causing it to bleed on one finger. She will not be returning here. I wish I could give -5 stars.
