Quick Facts About Queenbee Nail & Spa

Queenbee Nail & Spa has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. The strengths include the relaxing atmosphere, the cleanliness of the salon, the friendly service provided by some of the staff members, and the updated facilities. On the other hand, the weaknesses include inconsistent nail technicians, rushed service, poor attention to detail, lack of communication regarding appointments, and a negative experience with a particular staff member.
One of the strengths mentioned is the relaxing atmosphere of the salon. Customers appreciate the ambience and find it to be a positive aspect of their overall experience. Additionally, the cleanliness of the salon is praised in multiple comments, indicating that the establishment maintains a clean and hygienic environment.
The comment mentioning the new owners taking the salon to the next level with new pedicure chairs and workstations highlights the efforts made by the management to enhance the facilities. This indicates the willingness of the owners to invest in the salon and improve the customer experience.
Another strength is the positive experience customers have had with specific nail technicians. The comment praising Kenny for doing pedicures exactly as the customer likes and Ryan for being creative with nail art suggests that there are skilled and attentive nail technicians at the salon.
The comment about Nancy fixing the customer's nails from a previous salon and making them prettier than before indicates that the salon has technicians who can fix and improve the quality of the customer's nails.
However, there are also several weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One major weakness is the inconsistency with the nail technicians. A comment describes the experience as a "hit or miss," suggesting that the quality of service can vary depending on the technician assigned to the customer. This inconsistency may lead to a lack of trust and uncertainty among customers.
Rushed service is another weakness mentioned. One customer recounts feeling like they were bothering the nail technician and reports that the entire process was uncomfortable. This rushed service resulted in poor cuticle work and a bubbly and thick toenail polish. Similarly, another customer complains about the manicure being completed in just 10 minutes or less, with no attention to cuticle cream and a poor shine on the nails.
The lack of attention to detail is evident in the comment about the manicurist only buffing the center of each nail instead of shining the entire nail, as requested. This indicates a lack of skill or care on the part of the technician.
The negative experience related to the appointment system is another weakness mentioned. One customer explains how their appointment time was confirmed over the phone, but when they arrived, they were informed of a 40-minute wait. The lack of communication and coordination regarding appointments led to frustration and inconvenience for the customer.
Finally, the comment about a customer receiving a manicure with cuts and poor attention to cuticles and nail cleaning reflects a particularly negative experience. This not only affected the customer's satisfaction but also raised concerns about health and safety practices at the salon.
In conclusion, Queenbee Nail & Spa has a mix of strengths and weaknesses. The strengths include the relaxing atmosphere, cleanliness, friendly service from some technicians, and updated facilities. However, the weaknesses revolve around inconsistent nail technicians, rushed service, poor attention to detail, lack of communication regarding appointments, and negative experiences with certain technicians. These weaknesses need to be addressed by the salon management in order to provide a consistently positive experience for their customers.

I visited this place for the first time on 9/2/22. The salon is relaxing, but it’s usually hit or miss with the nail techs and this was a miss for me. It’s been awhile since my last pedicure because I had surgery on my left foot, then turned around months later and broke my right foot. Just my luck, I know. ???? I was the last one seated for my pedicure and the first one finished. The nail tech did a poor job with my cuticles and nail polish. The whole process was rushed and a bit uncomfortable as if I was bothering her. My toenail polish was bubbly and thick when I left. Next was the manicure. It probably took her 10 minutes or less to complete the entire process. She had me soak my hands in cold water and never used the cuticle cream. I don’t get my nails polished at salons, always the shiny buff because I work with my hands. Well, she only buffed the center of each nail, the rest of the nail was dull. I asked if she could shine the entire nail because it’s supposed to look like clear nail polish. She proceeds to do as I asked really quickly but the poor condition of the shine remained the same. I told her it was just ok but not that great. She laughed. Either she didn’t understand that the shiny buff was actually supposed to be shiny or she didn’t care enough to make it right. Either way, I paid the $60 and felt I was overcharged because the service was terrible. I’ll give the salon the benefit of the doubt by not judging their overall rating by this first experience. If I return, I will be sure to request a different nail tech. 0 stars for the service and 3 stars for the atmosphere.
I’ve been going to Queen Bee Nails for over ten years. The new owners have really taken it to the next level with all new pedicure chairs and work stations!!! They pay a ton of attention to having everything really clean and making sure everyone leaves HAPPY!!! Please support this local business - I highly recommend!!!
Love them! Kenny is awesome and does my pedicures exactly the way I like and Ryan is like with the art. He's creative and willing to do whatever pops into my mind lol. Give them a try folks. ????
Nancy fixed my nails from a previous nail shop and they're prettier than before!
I called and made an appointment in the morning around 10am. The person said I could come at 11:30 or 12:00pm for a mani pedi for my mom. I confirmed 12:00 pm and they hung up. I picked up my mother who has an intellectual disability and got to the appointment at 12:00. The manager said it would be 40 minute wait, which would not work as she had physical therapy afterward. I notified him I called that morning for an appointment and he said a worker was sick and didn’t show up for work so he couldn’t take us. I asked why the person who took my appointment didn’t take my phone number down to call me and he said it was not him who answered so he doesn’t know. It was really frustrating after having gone through the trouble of coordinating with my moms schedule. I will not go back after this.
The place is very clean and they do an excellent job! Very nicely decorated also
I have been coming here for years, and I always receive excellent and friendly service. Their pedicures are never rushed and are consistently high quality. I also appreciate how they have updated their stations over the years and always maintain a clean premises.
Worst manicure I've ever gotten. He cut me twice, making me bleed. He never pushed my cuticles or cleaned out under my nails. I wish I didn't have to pay for my services.
