I'm not sure why they say they accept walk-ins. When a walk-in steps inside the employees here make every excuse in the book as to why they can't cut your hair. Weird and hostile atmosphere. It's unfortunate for my son and husband and we definitely would never want our family and friends to experience this so we spread the word about bad encounters such as this.
Terrible barbershop, I had a party to go to later on that day. Waited about an hour and half since they have appointments and walk ins after. I went with a short latino man, was really friendly, however I asked for a high fade, edge up, and no trim on top since I have long curly hair. He however pushed the fade way to high, and cut most of my curls off. Leaving only the front half of my top hair. Everyone at the party said it looked like I got a military buzz cut. Dude was really cool but did not know how to cut. He cut my hair in about 10 min. Finishing before two other barbers who had clients before I sat down. I’m pretty blind without my glasses so I couldn’t see how bad the cut was until he showed me with the mirror. Wouldn’t recommend going here unless you cut your hair with one of the other barbers. Specifically two up front. Cut was $30
Awesome! Unfortunately, my guy had not had a haircut and it was overdue. When you have to depend on others when your own vehicle is down, it causes things to fall behind. The shop has had an upgrade and it looks really nice inside. They accept walk ins. Rick gave my guy a very low fade since his hair grows fast. He now looks like a gentleman. I am pleased with the outcome. Mother's Day is Sunday and I wanted to make sure he was looking his best since he would be with mama. This is not a loud shop and there is a wood board that says, "No profanity". Now that is respect for others that do not use that type of language.
Please stay away from the black guy at this shop. The other guy looked like he knew what he was doing but the other guy will ruin your hair. Not only did he not do what I asked at all. Like a fade or the style I want. It seemed like he just got the machine and just went for it. My neck line is uneven my sideburns are uneven. I wish I didn't come here. Now I have to wait weeks for my hair to grow out so I can take it someplace good to fix it. One star for hiring a unprofessional
I love this barbershop.L Boogie is the best barber in Bakersfield hands down.His work is some of the best Ive seen.He makes all clients feel welcome as soon as they walk in. He is prompt with his appointments and caters to walk ins. He comes early and stays late. Sometimes hes the only barber there!! Go to Lboogie I promise you wont be disapointed
They claimed to be able to do women’s hair, but when they got done doing my mothers hair, she had lots of areas that were completely uneven and messy. Don’t recommend them for women’s hair.
I been going here for about 3 months Jacob has always given me a clean cut I just sit down I don't even have to say anything he already knows. It's the most friendliest, respectful, great atmosphere, trustworthy, always very clean, fast, and professional barber shop all in one all the barber's their are the best at what they do they're precise when They are giving you a haircut and or shave . Plus their one of the few that are open early and daily. They all have earned the right to call themselves barber's. It's the only place in town that gets my haircut right on point. You name it they know it and do it correctly like Razor fades my favorite with 1 on the top , fades, tapers, Mohawk, afros nice and trimmed, beard trimming clean even you wife would demand you to go back everytime. Last but certaintly not least the great prices they always have.
Great cuts , good service, nice cold A/C , will return.
