3. Some customers are satisfied: One comment mentions that a customer was happy with their experience at Rose Nails and specifically recommends a staff member named Kathy.
Weaknesses:
1. Overcharging: One customer felt that they were charged more than they should have been. This indicates a lack of transparency in pricing and may suggest that Rose Nails engages in questionable pricing practices.
2. Poor quality products: Multiple comments suggest that the nail polish used at Rose Nails may be old or low-quality. This can result in an unsatisfactory nail finish and potentially cause problems, such as spots appearing underneath the polish.
3. Inconsistent training and techniques: Commenters note that the employees at Rose Nails do not appear to be trained uniformly, as different methods are used to apply nail polish. Inconsistency in techniques can lead to inconsistent results and may indicate a lack of proper training or standards within the salon.
4. Rough and rushed service: One customer mentions that their pedicure was done carelessly and quickly, without proper shaping or attention to detail. This suggests a lack of thoroughness and could lead to a subpar customer experience.
5. Uncomfortable atmosphere: One comment mentions feeling uncomfortable at Rose Nails due to only two nail technicians working and an additional "receptionist" just watching. This may give the impression of a poorly managed or understaffed salon.
6. Unsanitary practices: Another comment states that tools and towels used at Rose Nails may not be adequately cleaned between clients. This indicates a potential violation of health and safety standards, which can lead to the spread of infections or other issues.
7. Pushing additional services: One comment mentions that the staff at Rose Nails tried to add extra services, such as waxing, despite the customer declining. This indicates a pushy sales approach, potentially making customers feel uncomfortable or pressured.
8. Inconsistent nail shaping: One customer mentions that their nails were filed to different shapes and lengths, indicating a lack of attention to detail and poor execution of nail services.
9. Lack of proper UV light timing: A customer mentions that there is no timer on the UV light machine, which resulted in their nails being exposed to varying amounts of time under the light. Inconsistent curing times can lead to improperly set gel polish and potential durability issues.
10. High prices: One customer was charged a significantly higher amount than expected for their services and felt mocked when questioned about the pricing. This suggests that Rose Nails may have inconsistent or unfair pricing practices and a lack of customer service in addressing concerns.
Based on these comments, Rose Nails appears to have several weaknesses, including poor quality control, inconsistent training, unhygienic practices, and questionable pricing. The strengths mentioned are limited to a few positive interactions with staff members and a claim of efficient service. It is important to note that these comments represent the experiences of a few customers and may not reflect the overall quality of Rose Nails.

My first time going and they just kept on adding and manipulating to continue adding services. Continually told them no but felt too timid to give in (my fault, completely). Still, I calculated the prices and they charged more than they should’ve. Calculated at most for it to be 105 at the most and they charge 130. I asked her for the receipt of the items and she printed one out but never gave me a run down of the items. Will never come here again, it was honestly just a scam
If you go here, I recommend getting regular nail polish, not gel! I think the nail polish they use is old, little spots started to appear appear under the polish a couple days after I got my nails done here. The woman that helped me bent my natural nails to see if I had tips glued on (I did not), filed each nail a different shape and length, and applied cuticle oil on my hands and then filed my nails AFTER she applied and set my gel polish. I had to ask multiple times throughout the session to make sure the nail shape and length on my right hand matched the left, and that the nail polish covered my whole nail on each finger. When I was setting my nails under the UV light, there is not a timer on the machine, so my nails on each hand were not under the light for the same amount of time.
I removed the gel from one of my nails today because my nails have become so thin, there were also still remnants of my old polish color underneath. I’m assuming that all my nails have become very thin now, and will probably have to take a break from getting manicures for a while to let my nails heal.
I don’t think everyone is trained the same way, the other employee that was helping another customer next to me used a totally different method to apply nail polish.
The ladies that work here are very nice, but I’m not sure if I will come back again. So if you come, I would use your judgement and speak up if you see something you are unsure of!
I also read a review that they try to add on additional costs, this did not happen to me, but for context I paid $35 including tip.
Worst pedicure I’ve ever had. The lady that did my pedi was so rough and not careful. Rushed through it. No shaping or anything just cut and polish. And on top of that, overpriced. Will not be coming back. Ever.
There was only 2 girls doing nails & another “ receptionist “ just walking around watching them do their work. Uncomfortable. She called me to do my nails & another girl who was there before me hadnt been called , so she got mad & it was a scene. My mom got a manicure & look at the paint job. Especially on her thumb & index. & the tools / towels are from previous clients. Wont be coming back.
I had a terrible experience! I did not like my nails there all messed up and the price was absolutely horrible for what my nails looked like . I paid 55 for a French square tip
Walked in here because my usual place was closed . As soon as I walked in one of them asked me if I wanted wax & I said no thank you just pedicure & fill . Next thing I know she sat my daughter on a chair & asked her to pick a color (my daughter is 5) so I said no it’s okay she doesn’t need her nails painted . She insisted & I gave in . Next thing I know the other lady brings her wax cart & says she’s guna wax my eyebrows , once again I said no thanks . Anyway she did my pedicure & got mad when I said no gel just regular nail polish . The other lady did my fill & my nails looks so lumpy ???? they were a coffin shape & now I don’t even know if they are shaped . Horrible ! Never going back here . I wish I had read the reviews before stepping foot here , oh & she charged me $87 for a pedicure, a fill & my daughters nail polish ! I asked why the prices where so high & she laughed at me . Lesson learned !!
Worst mani pedi I have raver had. Sloppy, dirty, cold water. Obnoxious push of gel. Had to say no 10 times. My 5year old niece could have done a better job.
Absolutely satisfied with this place so efficient and the work they do is excellent I highly recommend it Kathy is AWESOME ❤️
