Beteena altered my June 2022 wedding rehearsal dinner outfit and wedding dress and was an absolute JOY to work with. She is absolutely meticulous with every detail, and is committed to making sure your dress fits you perfectly and comfortably. I felt in such good hands with her and really looked forward to each appointment leading up to the wedding.

Beteena did an amazing job on my wedding dress! She was super pleasant/easy to work with and was very accommodating of my busy work schedule. Her shop was clean/beautiful, and after our first meeting, I felt confident trusting her with my dress. I live in the city and her shop is in Bridgeville, but it was absolutely worth the drive! When I initially asked how many fittings I would need, her price estimate did not include a specific number of fittings but rather however many she needed to get the job done to her standard (~ 4-5 for me). She is a perfectionist and was meticulous with the hem, bustle, and overall fit of my dress. I could not have been happier with the process and results! If you are looking for a wedding gown seamstress, stop looking and call Beteena!

Working with Beteena was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning. Not only did I look forward to seeing her every time I had an appointment because she is one of the absolute sweetest people I have ever met, she exceeded my expectations with my dress alterations! Her work is magical and if I could give her 20 stars I would!

I purchased my dress off the rack which I knew was risky and was terrified it wouldn't fit me right and knew I needed to find someone who could work with intricate beading and lace. From the moment I met Beteena I knew I was in the right hands! She is incredibly meticulous and a true artist with her work. There were even a few parts of my dress I wasn't crazy about when I purchased the dress and Beteena was able to turn it into the dress of my dreams!

Beteena took care of us!

We reached out on a Monday, told her we had to leave in two weeks from then for a wedding, she got us in on that Thursday, and had our dresses done by the following Wednesday.

Yes, she is pricey and she will be the first to admit that, but my friend and I were more interested in having our bridesmaid dresses taken care of.

We drove 30 minutes to her so that we could avoid a 50/50 chance of getting good work done on our dresses.

I am on the right, and my dress had a particularly challenging adjustment that need to be done on the sleeves, but you can hardly tell any work was done.

If you are looking for reliable, quality work, take up this artist, Beteena. She puts love into each piece, treating it like it is the most important dress in the world to you.

Beteena altered my daughters wedding dress in 2021. My daughter's work hours are crazy as a resident Dr. in Pittsburgh. Beteena happily scheduled around her schedule! She met with my daughter on many appts. as she is a complete perfectionist. Running her own business for several years allows her to meet with her clients for as many times as it takes to perfect her work. She is a warm person who truly cares about the person wearing the dress! She got to know me, my daughter and one of her bridesmaids (that bridesmaid is having her alterations done there too as she was so impressed). I felt like she became a friend! I cannot recommend her enough!!!

Teena was a dream to work with. From beginning to end my dress was not only in great hands but so was I. She was literally like my fairy God mother making sure I was ready for the ball. Her work was on point and she made it easy for my bridesmaid to figure out and learn how to do the bus-sell. Teena does great work and I highly recommend her. My dress fit perfect and looked great. I was disappointed with the outcome of my wedding dress. It had built in cups which were altered too high on my chest, making the bust area look awkward. My mother had to make last minute alterations to fix this after we brought it home. I was also disappointed that we couldn’t do a French bustle on this dress (not necessarily Beteena’s fault) so instead had to do a traditional bustle which covered the beautiful buttons down the back. The bustle she created was very complicated and was hard to replicate on the day of the wedding. It ended up looking awkward in the back. Finally, the back strap detail was way too tight and made me self conscious. All in all, just not my best wedding experience.
