Quick Facts About Smyrna Thrift Store
Smyrna Thrift Store has several strengths that contribute to its appeal as a thrift shopping destination. One notable strength is the organization of the store. Multiple customers mention that the merchandise is well-organized, making it easy to navigate and find items of interest. The clothing section, in particular, is praised for its organization by type and color, allowing for efficient browsing. This organized approach helps create a pleasant shopping experience for customers.
Another strength of Smyrna Thrift Store is the variety of items available. Customers note that the store offers a wide range of products, including dishware, furniture, rugs, lamps, tchotchkes, clothing, and more. This diverse selection appeals to different customer needs and preferences, making the store a one-stop shop for thrift shopping. Additionally, the store is commended for constantly restocking its inventory, ensuring that customers always have new items to discover.
The affordability of clothing at Smyrna Thrift Store is also mentioned as a strength. Customers say that the store is a great place to find affordable clothes, making it an ideal option for replenishing wardrobes with seasonal items. Several customers specifically highlight the store as the best thrift store in the area for affordable clothing. This affordability allows customers to shop on a budget and find quality clothing at reasonable prices.
On the other hand, Smyrna Thrift Store has some weaknesses that should be considered. One weakness mentioned by customers is the pricing. Some customers feel that certain items are overpriced, especially in comparison to other thrift stores in the area. The comment about the markups on some items being "blasphemy" suggests that customers feel the prices do not align with the fact that the items are old and used.
Another weakness mentioned is the lack of high-end or premium inventory. While the store offers a variety of items, it is noted that the inventory does not include many high-end or premium items. This may be due to the store's limited donations or lack of sourcing higher-quality items. As a result, customers seeking luxury or high-end items may be disappointed with the selection at Smyrna Thrift Store.
One customer also shared a negative experience with a staff member who demonstrated unprofessional behavior. This incident, although isolated, can be considered a weakness as it reflects poorly on the store's customer service. Rude or disrespectful behavior from staff members can create a negative impression and deter customers from returning.
In conclusion, Smyrna Thrift Store has several strengths that contribute to its appeal, including its organization, variety of items, affordability of clothing, and a constantly restocked inventory. However, the store has weaknesses in terms of pricing, lack of high-end items, and a negative customer service incident. Understanding these strengths and weaknesses can help potential customers make informed decisions about whether to visit Smyrna Thrift Store.

It is a very old run down building but the merchandise is very organized which I appreciate. However, they seem to forget they are selling old used items they got for free. The mark up’s on some of this stuff is blasphemy. I’m not paying brand new prices for h&m etc
Not a bad place to find dish ware! You can sometimes find unique furniture as well. They offer rugs, lamps and tons of tchotchkes. The clothing is extremely well organized (by type and color) and the prices are comparable to GW across the street. They run daily deals too! Closed on Sundays.
This is the best thrift store in the area for affordable clothes! Perfect for restocking your wardrobe for the new seasons.
Just passing through town and staying at a nearby RV park. Thought I'd hit some thrift stores, but should have skipped this one. Prices are crazy!! I found two tiny ceramic angel figurines, each about 3 inches tall. They wanted $6 each for them. Also found a resin (Made In China) wizard figurine. Not good quality so I was expecting it to be cheap. It was priced at almost $14.00. If money is no object, shop here.
Hands down one of the best Thrift stores in the metro area. Whoever is in charge of the content and product they sell is well suited for the job. Quality higher end finds and more than enuff selection of everything you could imagine to find in a Thrift store and much more. The items aren't mostly vintage polyester leisure suits with shoes from the Mayflower voyage that aren't for use outside of costume play or collections purposes. It is also stoked with ample modern clothing & bedding items that are in new condition and with a generous selection. I can't say enough about them. I almost want to selfishly keep this sort of hidden gem to myself! They do have the vintage stuff but also the newer and current stuff with lots of variety and choice. As usual, I loaded a cart so full and had to be ran out at close time. Very friendly staff too!
. A+ underrated store!

I've shopped at this store for many many years. I always find great deals and a wide variety of items. I was trying on about 10 dresses the last time I was there and on one, I couldn't get the zipper up so I put in on the return rack and a lady from the back room came out and started spreading Spanish to me. I told her I don't speak spanish. She then proceeded to point at the dress and zipper and I told her I couldn't get the zipper up. She then says 2 times in a row "it's not your size, it's not your size" very very rude! It's funny that's why I was trying on clothes! Huh. It actually was my size and couldn't believe she would say something to mean!! I didn't even know what to say after that, I just walked away from her and continued to stop. I just wanted to share this experience.
This store is organized well, which I do like alot. If you are looking for clothing than it will be very easy to search the inventory. The accessories such as decorative items and lamps are also all in one area. The furniture type items are kind of spread along the front windows for the length of the building. Toys are kind of jammed in shelves in the back of the store. Games are organized well. Unfortunately, the inventory is not very high end. This is because they are not as well known for donations. The staff is friendly and the pricing is reasonable if not a little bit better than say a Goodwill. Personally I think this is a good thrift store to donate to their cause. As in any thrift store it is a hit or miss kind of thing.
They have a great inventory of clothes and housewares. I wish I could stay out of there, but the deals keep bringing me back. Try them for yourself.????
