Quick Facts About Snyder's Pourhouse Tavern
Snyder's Pourhouse Tavern has received a mixture of positive and negative comments, which provide insights into the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment.
Starting with the strengths, one recurring theme is the excitement and positive anticipation for the changes happening at the tavern. This indicates that the management is proactive in making improvements to enhance the customer experience. Additionally, many customers praise the selection and quality of the food, considering it to be on par with the best in bar food. The consistently cold beer is also appreciated, suggesting that the tavern pays attention to the details of serving beverages at the optimal temperature.
The dart tournaments are mentioned as a great aspect of the tavern, indicating that it offers a form of entertainment beyond just drinks and food. The presence of pool tables is also appreciated by customers, further diversifying the options for recreational activities. The live music performances, specifically mentioning Hank Jr. on 4th of July, receive strong praise, contributing to the overall enjoyable atmosphere of the tavern.
Customers consistently mention the friendly and nice bartenders, highlighting the excellent service provided. This positive interaction with staff further enhances the experience of visiting the tavern. The cleanliness and spaciousness of the place are also commended, creating a pleasant and comfortable environment for customers to enjoy their time.
Moving on to the weaknesses, one customer complains about the bartender's rudeness. While this may be an isolated incident, it is worth noting as a potential issue that could impact the customer experience. Another complaint raised is the charging of additional fees. The customer mentions being charged a $5.00 fee at the door for the band, which they were fine with. However, they also found extra charges on their bill, specifically a $4.50 fee and a $1.00 fee, both allegedly for the same band charge. This double charging raises concerns about the transparency and fairness of the billing practices at the tavern. Additionally, the customer mentions that the tavern does not have a set schedule for their kitchen. This lack of professionalism and consistency in operating hours can be frustrating for customers who are expecting to be able to order food. Lastly, the customer states that their group will no longer be spending money at the tavern, indicating that the negative experiences outweigh the strengths that were previously mentioned.
In summary, Snyder's Pourhouse Tavern has various strengths and weaknesses. The positive aspects include the excitement for upcoming changes, good selection and quality of food, consistently cold beer, dart tournaments, live music performances, friendly and nice bartenders, clean and spacious atmosphere. However, weaknesses include complaints about rude bartenders, additional fees charged without proper explanation, inconsistency in kitchen hours, and ultimately losing customers due to negative experiences.

The dart tournaments are great. The food is about as good as a bar gets. The beer is always cold

I stopped in from out of state. A fun place to be on Friday night. Everyone was friendly drinks was good not over priced staff was not up tight
Friendly staff, great food and awesome drink specials. This is my go to when I need a drink 10 out of 10 highly recommend
The bartender is kinda rude, but what really made me mad was they charged us a $5.00 fee at the door for the band (which I didn't mind) but after paying our tab we also was charged with a up charge band. One was for $4.50 and the 2nd was for $1.00 and yes both these fees was on the same bill. After asking what these charges are, the bartender explain they charge a extra .25 cent per drink for band charge. I'm not sure if that's legal or not but it's not right to charge your customers twice. Also group of us would come on Saturday's and sometimes the kitchen will be open sometimes not. They do not have a set schedule for their kitchen which I find is very unprofessional. I think they would make money if they keep the kitchen open until 1am during the weekend. Overall, we won't being giving that place our money any more.
