Sozo Antrim Road has several strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. These strengths and weaknesses will be discussed in detail in the following paragraphs.
One of the strengths of Sozo Antrim Road is its pleasant dinner look and feel. This aspect is widely appreciated by customers who enjoy dining in a comfortable and inviting environment. Additionally, the varied menu is another positive aspect as it offers something for everyone. This allows customers to have a wide range of options to choose from and ensures that they can find a dish that suits their tastes and preferences. Many customers have mentioned that they have enjoyed everything they tried off the menu, indicating that the food quality is generally good. The presence of classic puddings/desserts is also seen as a positive aspect by customers who enjoy indulging in sweet treats after their meal. Furthermore, the staff at Sozo Antrim Road are described as friendly, with proper personalities. This is appreciated by customers who value good customer service.
Another strength of this place is that it has become a regular haunt for Sunday lunches. This suggests that customers find the Sunday lunch experience at Sozo Antrim Road to be enjoyable and satisfactory. It indicates that the establishment has managed to create a positive reputation in terms of its Sunday lunch offerings.
However, there are also some weaknesses associated with Sozo Antrim Road. One of the main weaknesses mentioned by customers is the unimaginative food options. Some customers note that the menu could be more diverse and exciting, especially for those who are not fans of fries. The lack of salads after 4pm is seen as a downside, as it limits the options available for those who prefer lighter and healthier meal choices. Additionally, the fish and veggie options are considered to be sad and limited. This limitation can be disappointing for customers who are looking for more interesting and creative vegetarian or seafood dishes. Some customers claim that they used to love calling in for something tasty and satisfying, but due to the lack of variety, they may not be returning anytime soon.
Another weakness highlighted by customers is the need for better explanation of the food on the menu. One customer had an unpleasant surprise with the Chicken Stack dish, as it had a southern fried batter which was not mentioned on the menu. This lack of clarity can lead to customer dissatisfaction and result in unexpected flavor combinations. Another customer mentioned that the cheese was missing from the mac and cheese sauce, resulting in a flavorless dish. These instances suggest that Sozo Antrim Road should improve its menu descriptions to avoid confusion and disappointment.
Furthermore, some customers have mentioned slow service as a weakness of the establishment. This is a common complaint among both vegans and non-vegans. Not only did the vegan customer experience slow service, but their food was also described as bland. Non-vegan friends of the vegan customer also had slow service and did not have the best food experience. This lack of consistency can impact the overall dining experience and lead to a decrease in customer satisfaction.
In conclusion, Sozo Antrim Road has several strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. The pleasant dinner look and feel, varied menu, and classic desserts are among the strengths appreciated by customers. However, the unimaginative food options, lack of clarity in menu descriptions, and slow service are weaknesses that may impact customer satisfaction. It is important for the establishment to take these comments into consideration and work towards improving these aspects to attract and retain customers.

A pleasant dinner look and feel with a varied menu, something for everyone!
Sozo has become a regular haunt lately especially for Sunday lunches.
I've enjoyed everything I tried off the menu with some classic puddings/deserts to enjoy also.
Food options unimaginative, especially if you're not into fries. No salads after 4pm and fish/veggie options sad and limited. We used to love calling in for something tasty and satisfying but won't be back in a hurry, sorry Sozo.
They should probably explain the food better on the menu the Chicken stack the chicken fillet had a southern fried batter which wasn't mentioned on the menu, pappered sauce and southern fried chicken doesn't go well together, that mixed with the tobacco onions left a weird taste in my mouth if it just a seasoned fillet it would have been great. Same with the [southern fried] chicken burger with mac and cheese the mac and cheese was completely flavourless aswell I think they forgot to put cheese in the sauce.
The staff were lovely though but next time I'll just stick to red meat
The hummus starter was very tasty. The chips are very good and the veggie burger is good, but a bit too sweet for my taste. If you like sweet potato, you will like it. The prices were quite good with discounts if you get multiple courses. No complaints about the service either. I would go again, but with only one veggie option, I probably won't go regularly. My girlfriend got the Sunday roast beef and she was not impressed.
Second visit - This was a great experience. I got a deep fried goats cheese starter and an egg, broccoli and tomato risotto main. Tried some skinny fries too. All tasted incredible. This was their Christmas menu. I was initially disappointed due to the reduced options but it was definitely quality over quantity. Also if you told me the fries were freshly cooked by McDonald's, I would believe you. I'm using this as a compliment. Only negative is it is a bit expensive but I think it was worth it. I'm looking forward to going again.
As a vegan they made me the veggie breakfast without the egg, it was bland and the service is extremely slow. My non vegan friends also had slow service and not the best food. The restaurant isn't half full either. Wouldn't reccomend to vegans but I can imagine it's good for a morning coffee and a snack. 2 stars hence no vegan options.
Staff great, proper personalities and bloody marvellous food. A proper wee gem. If you're a local and haven't been, you're missing out. Chicken stack with champ highly recommended!
I had the Honey Chilli Chicken to start then the Roast Turkey & Ham and Jam and Coconut sponge with custard to finish. It was all gorgeous and the service was superb. I can't wait to go back.
Friendly staff, plenty of parking and decent brunch, we will be back
