Quick Facts About Spa Nail
Strengths:
One of the strengths of Spa Nail place is the high level of customer service provided by the staff. Many customers commented on the friendliness and kindness of the staff, noting that they were made to feel comfortable and well taken care of during their visit. Staff members, such as Mia, were praised for their attentiveness and for ensuring the customers' needs were met throughout the entire process.
The salon also received positive reviews for its expertise in dip manicures. One customer mentioned that they have been a regular for four years because dip manicures are the only option that can handle the abuse their weak and thin nails go through. The dip manicures were seen as worth the higher price due to their durability and ability to protect nails from cracks and breakage, making them a great option for those looking to grow long nails.
Another strength of Spa Nail place is their ability to create intricate and personalized nail art. Customers mentioned being able to bring their own ideas to the salon and having the staff bring those designs to life. The attention to detail and the ability to meet the customer's expectations were highly praised. The salon was also commended for their use of high-quality products, such as OPI's chrome powder, to achieve the desired nail art looks.
The cleanliness and adherence to health regulations were also strengths of Spa Nail place. Customers mentioned that the salon's facilities, including pedicure chairs, workstations, and the bathroom, were always clean and well-maintained, even during busy periods. The use of sealed autoclave bags for tools and the lack of staff turnover demonstrated a commitment to following health department regulations and maintaining a sanitary environment.
A specific skill mentioned by a customer was the ability of one technician, Na Na, to effectively treat severe ingrown toenails. The customer had been dealing with severe pain and had even considered surgery, but Na Na's method of removing the ingrown nails completely and painlessly has allowed the customer to be pain-free and avoid surgery. While not a listed service, Na Na's skill and the difference it has made in the customer's life were highly appreciated.
Weaknesses:
One potential weakness of Spa Nail place is the higher cost of certain services, such as dip manicures and intricate nail art. While some customers felt that the higher prices were justified due to the quality and durability of these services, it may deter budget-conscious customers from choosing the salon. Additionally, one customer mentioned that long acrylic nails may not have the standard straight shape, which could potentially be a downside for those who prefer a different shape.
Another weakness could be the lack of available information about other services offered by the salon, such as facials and waxing. While some customers mentioned seeing these services on the salon's menu, there were no specific comments or reviews regarding these services, leaving potential customers with limited information or testimonials for these offerings.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, Spa Nail place has several strengths that make it stand out as a nail salon. The high level of customer service, expertise in dip manicures, ability to create intricate nail art, cleanliness, and adherence to health regulations were all praised by customers. Specific staff members, such as Mia and Na Na, were mentioned for their exceptional service and skills. However, the higher prices for certain services and limited information about other offerings could be potential weaknesses. Overall, the positive reviews and recommendations from customers give a strong indication of the strengths of Spa Nail place.
Best TL Reviews
Came to Spa Nails on a work trip in need of repair and so much before before a personal trip. No other salon had the reviews nor would they take walk-ins. Mia took care of me and made sure I was comfy the entire process/time. She was so sweet and we had great convo. Can’t wait to come back!
I’ve been a regular here for 4 years and I want to tell you why!
I have thin, weak nails (They’ve always been this way) and I’ve accepted that dip is the only mani material strong enough to handle the abuse I put them through while looking fresh unit removal. Dip is pricier than other similar mani’s, but it’s worth it to me. Dip also protects your nails from cracks and breakage so it’s great if you need help growing long nails.
My usual service : dip mani w short tip (I’m an advanced EMT, my nails can’t get in the way of my job and they must be sanitary) and the mid range pedi w gel polish.
The first time I got nail art I was able to splurge on a cute set thanks to a Valentine’s gift. They listened to my ideas, brain stormed, and brought my design to life. The base was nude, almond shape, with a fine red french tip. My ring finger had the same nude base, but a fine reverse French in candy yellow and a Cherry red heart on the tip. The set was matte with my ring finger high gloss. My nails were Instagram worthy and I was amazed with the end result. I tend to be a perfectionist and I can be quite picky, likely due to my years as an artist. The nails cost me about 100$ before tip, not including my color coordinating pedi.
The 2nd time I got nail art i requested chrome powder prism nails. I’ve wanted to try this look for years as I love the silver/rainbow glitter look but I dislike chunky glitter styles. I asked if they had the chrome powder and they had exactly what I wanted! (OPI brand ???? ) This set wasn’t nearly as pricey as the other, but it was more than my normal dip mani. They’re pretty in low light, but in bright light like the sun, the effect comes alive; a vivid and bright, yet softly blended prism shines from each nail. They gave me exactly what I asked for!
No staff turn over, which is a great sign!.Their pedicure chairs, bathroom, work stations, waiting area, etc are always neat and clean even when busy. They follow health department regulations and all stainless reusable tools are presented in a sealed autoclave bag with an indicator window, and they don’t break the seal until the customer is seated and services begin.
While I’ve already ranted about some of the reasons I love Spa Nail, what I REALLY want to share is the top notch pedicures that I’ve come to rely on. About 4 years ago I tried Spa Nail because I was massively pregnant w swollen feet I couldn’t reach and I decided I deserved a mani pedi. By sheer luck, Na Na was my tech that day and she noticed my severely ingrown big toe nails. They were horrible 4 years ago and so painful I’d guard my foot from touching anything. She knows the best method of removing them completely with minimal pain, removing ALL the fragments completely down to the base. She’s cautious to not cause severe pain or injury, but she’s not afraid to get in there and get every piece. Without treatment, ingrowns feel like razor blades stuck in the sides of your toe???? While it’s not a pleasant subject, if you ever have this happen then come see Na Na. Since I’ve been seeing her, I’ve been able to walk, workout, and work pain free. i was planning on having have surgery to correct it, but for now there’s no need because I’m pain free. This isn’t a listed service per se, but I pay a bit more to compensate and of course tip well! This is a great skill that she possesses and she’s made quite the difference in my life because of it.
They have new (about 6 months ago) massage pedicure chairs and bowls. They provide facials and waxing which I’ve never purchased but see them on their menu. .
Spa Nail is the spot. They are the nicest ladies, Lisa and Cindy are so kind and always take care of me but after going multiple times over the last two years I can honestly say I’ve always been treated well by whoever does my nails. Hands down, the best place in Memphis.
The people at this shop were so lovely and kind to me. They did my nails for my wedding, and the manicure and pedicure were both very relaxing services. I loved the color they helped me select; it fit with our wedding colors beautifully.
Unfortunately (and at no fault of the salon, but rather due to a huge amount of stress and extreme lack of sleep on my end), I had a full scale panic attack as they were finishing up my pedicure. What my now husband and I truly appreciated was their attempts to relax me while my nails fully dried. Pretty sure they provided extra complimentary massage services while doing my facial. Their patience was so touching and they treated me so humanely, even though I probably freaked out some of their other customers. If I'm ever in need of a mani or pedi in Memphis again, I'll be sure to return. Thank you!!!
Staff was very friendly and nails look good. One warning for people who enjoy long acrylics: the nail will be curved as opposed to the standard straight nail acrylic.
Spa Nail is great! I go here each time I visit from out of town, and the ladies are always so friendly and welcoming, and they do a good + thorough job. Got a dip powder manicure for the first time and I love it. Definitely my go-to place when I'm in town! :)
So friendly and thorough. Walk in and get taken care of quickly. Great options and prices. They remember you, too. Just love everything about this place.
I got both manicure and pedicure and they did an amazing job. She had to fix my nails behind a terrible job from another nail salon and I'm happy.
