I just flew in from Seattle and I had nail dip done from another place near my hometown, I ripped them off and really needed a good manicure and pedicure. I'm staying in the heart of Reno downtown and needed to find a place close by and discovered LV Nails/Spa Nails on Google maps, I really liked the photos of the nail work done so decided to walk here. (Beautiful day btw Feb 2022)
I called ahead to make sure they could fit me in and they took my name down and I headed over there. Super easy to find, lots of parking spots in the lot.
I was greeted kindly upon entering. I wrote down my name and they had me sit in the chair to soak my feet. Q began the service for my pedi first and finished after with my manicure. I chose the colors I wanted from their little book/color panels.
The massage chairs and equipment/store furniture was in great and clean/very new looking condition. Honestly way better than nail salons in Seattle so I really liked the way it felt coming in.
Their wall of nail polish was nicely organized, ambience is bright, clean and comfortable.
Q began my pedicure, she removed my gel polish and grinded down my nails, she actually did a REALLY great job. The prior pedi's I get they don't file/buff away the dried nail surface and Q did it for me and I was extremely happy with how nice my toes looked naked!
My manicure was great as well, Q was detailed d thorough with the cuticle cleaning and did a brief massage for each hand. It was nice and I felt relaxed. I had some remnants of nail dip from my previous service but she grinded them down and really smoothed out my nails. I was also very happy with the manicure.
Honestly this was the best mani and pedi that I have had in a long time, she never dug too deep and she cleaned my cuticles fingers and toes very thoroughly. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend them. They were very sweet and really felt like they cared to make sure my nails were getting the makeover they deserve! Thanks Q, love the mani+pedi!
Was thrown off by having a cold mani soak, 2 seconds and hands were pulled from the water. Pricing is good for a gel manicure.
The front lady is super friendly. The reason I came here was because of her.
I came here because I am from Cali and need to have a pedicure done and my nails while on vacation. The guy was very rude because my nail was hurting and wouldn't come off which is why I came to have my nails done in the first place. I got my pedicure done and sat with my nails half off for a good 30 mins. A woman walked in and they took her to the chair to get her nails done immediately. All around not a good experience at all and would not recommend. Terrible customer service
The last few times I've been here the service has been atrocious! I didn't even get lotion on my feet after the pedicure. Very disappointing. Sorry guys you lost a long time customer .
I have bee coming here for 4 years. The new owners taken over right after Covid. They have been absolutely fantastic. The quality of work is amazing, they’re so friendly, sweet, professional. Sometimes I can’t make appointments I just have to walk in and they make it work for me and them even if I can’t make it in for a month. my nails are beat up and broken, they make them thicker for me since I’m so rough on them. I appreciate them for the service and their time. Give them a try I promise you won’t be disappointed!
Not pleased. Never actually had to stop service so I could leave a salon due to the nail tech's rudeness before yesterday. $20 And as you can see from the picture this is exactly how my nails left the salon. I regret paying her. Hopefully their future clients will get better results and treatment than me.
Place sucks. Nails break very easy! Don't go there. U will regret it!
I’ve been here a couple of times for pedicures and they were OK but nothing special. This time I got a mani-pedi and the mani was horrible so uneven at the cuticle. I’ve had better manicures at the beauty school. I’m looking elsewhere next time.
