For some reason this particular Starbucks seems to close at different times every day rather than sticking to the opening times in their window. Also, the staff can be quite rude if you dare show up 10 minutes before closing, even when you are asking for a coffee to take away. Saying that some of the staff are very friendly so don't be put off entirely.

Lovely little visit just to grab a quick bite, the staff were both very friendly and efficient with our order.

The place was tidy and we were able to get a seat by the window where its nice to people watch the interesting characters of Newport.

If you’re working from your laptop and looking for a place to plug in and work away, then this is a great place to do just that.

Staff are friendly, helpful and coffee is great (if you enjoy Starbucks coffee that is).

Was served this afternoon by a young lady who said I could only have a takeaway coffee even though fifteen minutes to closing ,then said I could not sit down as some areas had been cleaned even though there were three customers sat around the corner , I ignored her and sat down with my son for ten minutes as we left she had served a family of four who were sat directly in front of her !???????? great service ! No !

Nice place, nice coffee but it could do with an extra member of staff to bust the tables and clean up after the ungrateful customers.

Ordered a Caramel Frappe and Pain Au Chocolate, received a large coffee, English tea and peach ice tea. Been ringing the store all morning and noone is getting back to me. Normally have a great service but this morning isn't the best.

Great place for a cuppa and a cake, lovely staff too, need another member to clean the tables and toilet areas.
