Quick Facts About Stone Pier Cafe

Stone Pier Cafe has a number of strengths that make it a popular choice among customers. One of its main strengths is its location by the sea. Customers enjoy the beautiful views and the peaceful atmosphere that comes with being right on the waters edge. The cafe also offers outside seating and benches nearby, providing ample space for customers to relax and enjoy their meals while taking in the surroundings.
Another strength of Stone Pier Cafe is the quality of its food. Customers consistently praise the seafood options, particularly the whitebait, calamari, and prawns. The cafe also offers a range of options for different dietary needs, including vegan and gluten-free options. This ensures that all customers can find something to suit their preferences. The cafe also receives positive feedback about the taste of its food, with customers describing it as tasty and delicious.
The staff at Stone Pier Cafe are another strength of the establishment. Many customers appreciate the friendly and helpful nature of the staff, as described by several comments. This contributes to a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere that adds to the overall dining experience.
The presence of a clean and convenient toilet is also seen as an advantage by customers. Having access to a toilet while dining out is important for many people, and the fact that Stone Pier Cafe offers this amenity is appreciated.
In terms of weaknesses, one customer mentioned that the cafe stops serving hot food at 4pm during the week. This may be seen as a limitation for customers who prefer to have a hot meal later in the day. It is worth noting, however, that the customer was still able to get cake and a milkshake as an alternative option.
Another weakness that was raised in one comment is the fact that the customer received their milkshake without it being cold. This can be seen as a lack of attention to detail and may detract from the overall experience for some customers who prefer their milkshakes to be cold.
One customer also mentioned that they would have preferred to have been given a plate instead of a napkin when they indicated that they were eating in, rather than taking away. This suggests a potential issue with the service and attention to customer preferences.
Another weakness mentioned by a customer is the presence of eggs in the garlic prawns without prior warning. This can be seen as a lack of communication or transparency on the part of the staff, which may lead to a negative dining experience for some customers.
In terms of pricing, while Stone Pier Cafe is not described as the cheapest option, the comments do not indicate that it is overly expensive. The majority of customers seem to be satisfied with the quality of the food in relation to its price.
Overall, Stone Pier Cafe boasts several strengths that make it an appealing choice for customers, including its picturesque location, quality food, friendly staff, and convenient amenities. However, there are also some weaknesses, such as limited hot food serving hours, occasional lapses in attention to detail, and communication issues regarding ingredients. Despite these weaknesses, the overall feedback suggests that Stone Pier Cafe is a popular and well-regarded establishment.

Best TL Reviews

We love this place, its lovely on nice hot day. We've love the quality of the food, the sea food if fantastic, we love the whitebait, calamari and prawns. Great location right by the sea. Nice place to get a beer or a glass of wine. Not the cheapest but the quality is decent. Be careful they stop serving food at 4pm during the week.
It’s pretty good. No hot food after 4pm so got cake and milkshake instead. Would’ve been nice to have gotten a plate rather than a napkin, especially as we said we were ‘eating-in’ not taking away. Milkshake had a good flavour but wasn’t that cold.
£1.30 for water, not too bad.
They have a toilet which is clean and very convenient. Outside seating area plus benches nearby. A good location for great views.
Awesome cafe, our favourite in Weymouth by far. Tasty food and really great staff and to top it all off the best location right on the waters edge just by the harbour entrance, so peaceful and what a view!
Quirky little cafe with a large range of food, with vegan and gluten free options. The crab sandwich was amazing and the staff were so friendly. Lovely atmosphere and location.
Never review but pretty disaapointing. Drove an extra 15 mins to come here because of the high reviews. ordered the garlic prawns which were a bit overcooked. but more importantly, 75%+ of the prawns had eggs. they're edible but I was not told of this beforehand, was a pretty gross surprise. At the price point of the place you feel like you're being mugged off. Nobody came to check/take plates away despite me being there for 45 mins. Should have gone Billy Winters again.
Well worth the bimble down, always trust an eatery with a queue outside of it.
Treated the good lady wife to a slab of lemon drizzle cake whilst I partook in a hefty slice of Victoria sponge mitt hot chocolate for oneself and a cup of finest builders ????‍♂️ tea for the trouble&strife a firm recommendation for anybody visiting Weymouth
This is a quality cafe that sells a range of food and drinks. Staff are very friendly and there is plenty of outside seating. We ordered a few Bacon, brie and cranberry toasties, chips and a sausage sandwich, washed down with some Thatchers Gold.
Spot on.
Great cafe with friendly owners, much appreciated chips and bread and butter after a long walk. They do wonderful freshly squeezed orange juice too. The views are amazing. Just don't venture too close to the edge of the harbour.
